Hello! Tonight's post is for SUKY! ^_^

Today I'm happier than other Saturdays because Suky came! Surprisingly, Ding Cong that naughty junior of mine also came today... And I was thinking: When Suky comes she'll definitely ask me where he is, and I'll say I don't know... What a coincidence, DC count yourself lucky, haha. But, I'm not happy because Zijian didn't come :( Luckily I didn't fall sick again, haha! (Inside joke)

Anyway, there was breathing exercises during warm ups today, reminds me of my much-missed NCO Band... and Mr Kajiyama the conductor. We played the 2 SYF pieces... Mr Yu asked my junior not to play at the slow part, then halfway into the slow part, out of nowhere he ask him to come in. I don't even know where he's supposed to come in, I don't think he does either! Omg, that leaves only me on 2nd trombone for the start of the slow part that I don't like.

At 10:30 + Suky came! Miss her a lot lot! ^_^ ♥ At 11:30 we sight read Apple Island Legend (which she says is very 难听) and the familiar (to me) To Challenge The Skies And Heavens Above! Of course it's familiar to me and not to you, because you hardly know anything about the band of the past, and I already know rather little. The problem with this "band" is bla bla I'm not going to state because you'll be reading an essay if I do. Tsk but I'm not satisfied with myself... because I can read the score, but somehow I couldn't play it! Furthermore, I remember that part from the recording which is from Suky I think...

After practice I left school with Suky :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! :D To Band, I wish you the motivation to get me my Gold award for SYF! It's OURS! I wanted to wish something more but I realised that's the only thing you need... To my lovely 4R1-ers! I wish us the courage to face setbacks and push forward! I wish us a fun and fulfilling last year together, and all the best results in the whole school! Let's continue this stereotype and show everyone that 4R1 IS the BEST CLASS! To my dear seniors, my pillars of strength, I wish you all the strength to stay happy and persevere through the toughest times with a vision of the best future. This is what you gave me :) I hope that you all will be strong to protect yourselves because you are grown up already, moving on or in the real world already! I ♥ you everybody :) I hope we will be friends next year :) 我一直都没变，还在每天许愿 ☆

The FIRST person to wish me Happy New Year (without me wishing first) is... Surprise! KEVIN! :D I wished Nurlena, Mavis, Suky, Stacia first :) Kevin seems different from last time... in a good way ^_^ Oops! Clarification: I don't like Kevin (in a BGR way). Stacia, does this line look familiar? Haha! Oi must tag ah, if not the da jiejie will spam you! :D She thought I like him... =v= Not her fault though, that's why I'm clarifying! I was watching MBC Gayo Daejun online, Super Junior sang Sorry Sorry (my favourite song by them!) and Bonamana! :D Their performance was about 12.40am so I had to wait so long... Now I can go to sleep! Suky! Read the previous post last paragraph! For you! ^_^

♫♪I'm back to happy Bass Trombone!!♪♫

Hello! There was band practice yesterday. MY FAVOURITE SENIORS SUKY & KEVIN CAME BACK!!! ♥♥♥ I miss you so much for the past so many months! Suky sat beside me for a while, yay! Then went to sit between my 2 juniors, haha! But she ignore DC for Benjamin xP But Kevin keep standing behind at the percussion area... :( Oh ya, actually when I saw him in the mirror I wasn't wearing specs so I didn't know it was him. I thought it was Xie Yu, but why Xie Yu can suddenly grow so tall since last practice?! Then Suky came and said she brought KEVIN! So it IS KEVIN! ^_^ Oh my gosh, his hair style is so cool! He looks like a singer!!! :D And Suky keep saying he's handsome =v= haha!

Anyway, today's practice saw me dying at Celebration and Song. That song kill me till I can't play anything after that =.=" Luckily Kevin not beside me, later he go: yuck, what happened to my junior?... That would be even yuckier than playing yuckily, the only thing that can be yuckier than playing with metal in your mouth. Anyway, we also played the Disney songs because we're gonna use it for sec 1 orientation. Later no one want to join. I want 2 juniors next year.

I'm seriously disgustingly sick of some idiots. They waste my time, everyone's time so much that Kevin left first. He was already waiting for quite long then what SL stay back and talk for so long, wasting time. Most of the time is not even spent talking, just sit there and shut up don't know doing what. Ask people to stay back just to sit and do nothing. What the heck?! Today I'm even more 不爽 although it's always as irritating as this. I'm super pissed off because they caused me to miss my chance to talk to my FAVOURITE SENIOR! -.-" *profanities*

On the bright side, I still had my other favourite senior who waited for me to leave school with me! ♥ ^_^ I took bus with SUKY :D She said Mr Yu told her I need to work more with the other majors and I always think of my senior... I'm gonna start ranting again. (Skip to next paragraph if you want happy part) Firstly, if they don't tell me anything, how the heck do you want me to work with them? Next, today was the only time I opened the door late because Mdm Yanti didn't come to the cafe as she usually does so I went to get it from her a bit after 8. Thirdly, why am I getting scolded for this when the "DMs" get off scot-free coming late almost everyday? Ok maybe not directed at me only since he said majors, but seriously, are you serious?! So it's fine they come as and when they like and not fine I opened the door late once due to this reason?! For goodness sake, they weren't even here when I opened the door LATE!

Now back to the nice things about seniors :) I asked Suky if Mr Yu meant Kevin, she said he didn't say but of course it is, it can't be her. But actually, when you first stopped coming back to band earlier this year, I also always said I want Suky, I miss Suky, just that you didn't know :D You're my favourite senior too, not need to be jealous of Kevin! ^_^ I ♥ MY SENIORS ALWAYS! ♥♥♥

♫♪I'm a happy 1st Trombone!!♪♫

I haven't blogged for a week but I see it doesn't matter. It's not for you (with exceptions) to read anyway, it's for me to write.

Last Tuesday, Physics from 3-4pm so I reached band at 4+. I love my Physics workbook paper 9, hehe! However, it was sectionals... Haiz... Mr Yu and Yeo were both there but they were having sectionals OUTSIDE the room, at the CORRIDOR! :D Short-lived happiness though, we shifted to the stupid echo room. I finally get to play at the corridor again but it didn't even last 1 minute -.- Wanted to blast at that block 309... Can't we just wait till they complain again before we move? Sectionals was until 5. I hate braces. But I didn't get to combine because Mr Yu took the band while Mr Yeo wanted to see the 3 majors outside. He talked so long about the report and the band until they ended already. So my suggestion has been implemented! ^_^ From now, they can only keep instruments on our command :) So we've been doing that until Saturday, all 3 practices :)

Friday, I had EL oral after school. The examiner was Ms Deepa -.- How come teachers can test their own class. It was on computers... During the conversation part I mentioned DotA, haha! Come to think of it, during CL oral some months ago, the conversation I said the same thing. I said students are tired of school work so play games, haha. My test ended at 3.30pm. Heard that they made things difficult during warm ups -.- But as student leaders, we ARE expected to restrict our expressions. Do you see me crying in front of the band? Even when I did, does anyone even know? -.- The band seriously... Darryl and Cliff came. Sectionals... wanted to teach my juniors but -.- $%^&*(

Saturday no marching because Mr Yeo at 8.06am or so. And they were late. Committee members, go die. So I said no marching. Once again, majors got scolded, for not telling the band how long they have to set up. Student conductor was... his birthday and Mr Yeo kept pointing out how he's not conducting properly. Well, no 恶意 intended, just so that he can conduct better :) Oh Jonathan and Yin Xuan tuba senior came today! :D They came during sectionals. Actually Mr Yeo calls it so but the whole brass section together = sectionals?... It was 10.40am or so. Wah, the tuba senior is a professional tubist! :O OMG!!! So we have 2 pros from this band, the other being percussion Siti... Woah... He is about Kevin's height, double woah... Kevin's the best senior ever, triple woah ^_^ Eh, Jonathan wear the orange Levi's shirt again... So that's all for band.

Today, 词语测验. I forgot one word -.- I wrote in my notebook 脊背, the question put "ji" and I don't know which one... Haiz... I think I'll do fine for this one though :) Assembly last period, was great! ^_^ There was a play about kampong in Singapore. "I like Swee Ping" the girl's name, haha! Then talking about WW2, then "Communists also came" (they're from Malaysia right?) then "Chairman Mao was the man" -.- That is so not funny. The Communists in Singapore wasn't Chinese. Still remember in Sec 2 History exam, the Communist threat was from Malaysia, I wrote China. Think it's wrong, haha. Don't know what happened to that paper. Bye!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARRYL! :D ALL THE BEST IN LIFE AND DON'T EVER GIVE UP BECAUSE RAINBOWS ONLY COME AFTER THE RAIN :) Oh, and there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, haha! BE HAPPY ALWAYS! ^_^ Because we may go through the same things in life but whether it's a good or bad experience depends on what we do and how we view it :)

(I learnt that at the leadership workshop yesterday, haha) As promised, the blog entry dedicated to you! ^_^ But this isn't enough to be called a dedication until I write something more right? You'll always be my big brother even though you're not in NAS anymore because we shared 2 years in Band! :D And I won't ever forget you as long as I can remember ^_^ There, now it's a dedication, haha!

♫♪I'm a happy 1st Trombone!!♪♫

Band again today, no marching though -.- Mr Yeo came first and we warmed up with Dion conducting. Then we tuned, which we haven't done in a long time. Then Mr Yeo came back in and did B flat major scale. Then we played Bao Bei Dui Bu Qi! :D Nice nice :D Trombone has melodies of all kinds :D The starting part, the chorus part, the leading to chorus part too, haha! And I think from bar 5 it sounds very retro, haha. Mr Yeo's arrangement is nice :) Our accompaniment part was not in the original song, I think he wrote it himself. We played that and other songs for a while then split for brass & woodwinds sectionals. Mr Yu did Mamma Mia with us until Mr Yeo came in and told us to cut part of Tequila. Cut the part from H to K, and no repeat :( So sad, to me that's the nicest part... got a cool lower brass part there and a glissando! But that part got some tough percussion part... But actually the tough part is not so long, I don't know why he cut so much off... It's already a very short song, now it's even shorter... I think it's now only 3 minutes. So after that Mr Yu decided to do Tequila. After that Bao Bei Dui Bu Qi. I want to blast!!! But some times too tired to play so loud, but when I can I will :D I blast Mamma Mia & Bao Bei Dui Bu Qi, haha :D But I don't anyhow blast of course. I blast as legato as I can, like Mr Yu said (the legato not the blast). Actually, it's not blasting, it's just louder than usual since I put braces. I think before I put braces I also play this loud, that's why Mr Yeo always tell me to go softer, haha. And further back into time, I used to play very soft, haha! I hope everything reverts when the braces are out, and I can play as loud as I want and as much as I want :)

We had 5min break then whole band combine on those 3 songs and Rockin to the Rhymes. At 11.30 Jonathan sms me to ask if band practice ended already and how to go upstairs because the shutters were closed -.- Haha, there was only 1 open... -.- and must walk round wasting time. But when we kept instruments, I saw the bass trombone case out, definitely it's him. Then I hear trombone sounds in the music room. Open the door see him alone with the bass trombone, emo-ing, haha. Came so late... he said he just started playing then must keep already. Also I asked Mr Yu about the mouthpiece we paid but haven't got. So Mr Yeo said maybe he could one day bring us there with our instruments then we try the mouthpiece and if it's ok we can get it. Because until now they still don't have so many of that mouthpiece. But actually not that many, 3 trombones, 1 eupho... -.- And, when I saw both Benjamin & Jonathan in the store room keeping trombones, I realise they look alike! :O

When I left school, saw Jonathan & Geck Woon. At first I thought it was Suky, but that's impossible, she's in HK. Then I thought he got girlfriend already, which is not possible yet, not so fast, haha. Until Taufiq said "Is that Geck Woon?" haha. She getting married! :O Around the time of my parents' anniversary, haha. That's all, bye.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SERENE!!! :D You wrote your birthday in the Chinese textbook you gave me, haha!

Today after school I ate at the canteen. I saw Kevin! :) He couldn't find a place and in the end sat at the other end of the table from me when it became vacant. Then when I finished eating, I go there and say "Kevin! See me never say hi!" Then he say "You sit so far! And just now never see you also..." Haha, I think he bluff. Anyway, he said bye to me later :) Shortly after he and his friends left, I also left to look for teacher to get keys. Ms Deepa passed me T T2! :O So it was with Kee Poh...! Haiz... anyway, it's back now :) Anyway, the door was already unlocked when I went up -.- Grrr... that's damn pissing off.

Anyway, today's sectionals was delayed a lot. Because when I went to unlock the 2 special rooms for sectionals, the door leading to that corridor with the rooms seemed locked. Then also, chairs were missing from our band room so we couldn't start warm ups together. Hazirah contacted teachers and a lot of trouble. Ms Chen said she'd look for the school attendant to unlock the door. Plans were made to use the 3I1 and 3R7 classrooms but they were locked... A lot of waiting and trouble, then, they said that door... was unlocked...

And we managed to get chairs from somewhere, so we started to warm up with Wai Yee conducting... Dion didn't come for band. After a very short warm up we went to sectionals, which I didn't practice with them at all. I played with eupho sometimes... I practiced Mamma Mia, Tequila, Celebration & Song, Rockin to the Rhymes and at the end, a few bars of Procession To Peace. And I figured out how to play the chorus of Jay's 稻香 :) So nothing much today, bye bye.

Hi hi! Yesterday I slept at 2am I think, haha. Because I was online at night until 1+ talking to mainly Jonathan, and Suky & Darryl :) Today still can wake up at 9.30am. I am bored... I can't wait to do the measurements for E Math project, haha! I'm so looking forward to using the clinometer with the cute weight! Oh wait, I'm not the one using, haha, but I'm looking forward to it :D But Monday I got damn dental appointment -.- Cannot stay back after school, so maybe during recess. Tuesday got practice, Wednesday got 1h lunch before Bio SPA... but the presentation is due on Friday, which is Serene's birthday! But first, look forward to the reaction when he sees the thing on the clinometer, haha! Oh shucks, what if he reads my blog? :s Haha... I like the clinometer! :D Bye bye!

Heylo! Today we stock check instruments. Committee only but Alicia came too, and some didn't, like all the trumpets -.- I remembered a few more numbers! Yay! But uh oh, I'm forgetting already! :S 158417 is DC's trombone I think. I saw so many new numbers today, I might mix up and combine some together, haha. The Bach bass trombone that does not have a shiny slide is 164298. Benjamin's bass trombone is... 390 I think, the other Conn bass is 592 I think. Argh...! I want to memorise them! At least I haven't forgotten the 3 I know :) Then we also took down the small trombones (sec 1s use Besson) from the top of the cupboards and that 590 bass. But, damn it! T T2 is missing! The one DC used last year! But it's not DC of course. A while later, I looked through the sign out book that QM keeps but I wasn't putting 2 and 2 together. It was 2 separate issues. And I was looking for trombone sign outs -.- Then after a long time, I was sitting, watching Jaslyn polish eupho. Then someone said must ask those who bring home instruments to bring back. It's not very loud, but I caught it and it struck me! Kheong Kee Poh that Sec 1 who quit used T T2! I don't remember but other than Vanessa he's the only other Sec 1 this year. And Vanessa's still in band and I'm sure she's returned it because she's not even one of us anymore. And I rushed to the record book, he's signed out T2 before (and even wrote it as the serial number -.-) The trombone can't mysteriously go missing, so it's most probably him! What the?! Why the heck is it with him when he's already not one of us anymore, he's not even in band! -.- I got damn agitated when I figured that... I was like shouting. So I called Mdm Yanti and told her about it... Stock check was damn draggy, as usual for any band thing... A lot of time spent with nothing to do, then when I went home it was downpouring -.-"'

Just found out Jonathan remembers numbers too! Haha! But I remembered his wrongly >.<>! ._. Come to think of it, I think we've never called each other before... Ok, that's all for today, the last day of common tests. Oh wait, not yet! After the last paper, A Math, I was very 不爽。因为老师说时间到了，我还没写完但我还是停了。可是我旁边的几个人还继续写，写了多几分钟！。。。不是一两句，而是几分钟的字耶。这样也太不公平了吧。我没做完已经不爽了，看见那些人继续写让我更气。Bye.

A Maths homework, mostly don't know how to do... -.- Tuesday exam already, my linear law still sucks... But luckily can get some help from Jonathan senior! ^_^ On MSN, as usual when I ask people homework. But it's not I ask him, it's he ask me to ask him, haha. So nice right, my senior :) Thank you Senior! ^_^ Actually if I wasn't so blind I wouldn't need him to tell me the obvious. -.- See ah, you'll laugh at this. y=hx+k sq root x. Ask me to draw graph of y/sq root x against sq root x. Just take that whole equation divide by sq root x then it will be linear already! Then find x when y=8 sq root x, just divide it by sq root x will be y/sq root x=8 already and that's the Y axis of the graph! -.- One step only. Then find from the graph the X value which is sq root x then square it... Eh... the first step I don't know means cannot do the whole thing already... I know how to do the back part also no use! -.- Very blind in Maths you know... Similarly, I know how to do coordinate geometry Chp 7, even full marks for that recent test! First time! But the exam will be all linear law except ONE question on chp 7 -.- And what if that question is super hard -.- Ok, I'll stop here. Bye! :)

♫♪I'm a happy 1st Trombone!!♪♫

This whole week I had no time to do my homework!!! 12 July Monday, I made CY's birthday card for 3 hours after coming back from dental appointment which is so far from my house. Actually not 3 hours straight, I did 1.5h then went to have dinner and continued another 1.5 hours, haha. 13 July Tuesday there was band practice, then when I came home I folded 16 stars for CY in a bottle. I made 16 then after putting into the bottle I found one pink one, then I counted in the bottle but it's hard to count. I remembered making 2 of that colour but only saw 1 so I figured there was only 15 so I put it in. Then 14 July Wednesday had rehearsal for Tapestry 4 with other CCAs. Band is damn irresponsible, just ditch their instruments and ALL go in to watch dance perform. Only Mavis stayed with me to look after those instruments. It's not the Band Major's job to look after the instruments that you dump there ok. If it's my job, then it's all the majors job too. Freaking irritated. I told them to bring it with them already, dumb or what. That's the most irresponsible thing a band member can do other than slack. You can conclude this is the most irresponsible band ever. Then the rehearsal delayed until we ended after 7pm, then people still wasting time in the band room over trivial idiotic stuff like they got all the time in the world. Damn them.

Finally, yesterday was CY's birthday and Ngee Ann Tapestry 4. I liked yesterday, it started off nice :) In morning assembly I happened to sit beside CY, yay! So I gave him the card and present :) He's very cute, hahaha. “谢谢你。。。谢谢你。。。真的谢谢你哦，好紧张哦。。。”Is that cute or what? :D Come to think of it, I think I heard him thanking people profusely before, haha. Eh, that's only the 2nd time he talked to me in person :O I hope he likes it!! ^_^ Then I kept smiling through the assembly, hahaha, because I love birthdays (not my own) and I love to make cards for them! :D Then first period from 8-9am. Someone said "Today is Cui Yi's birthday" Then 3R1 sang a birthday song for him in English. Then when we sang it in Chinese he so shy he go use his bag to cover his face, HAHA! After English, I left at 9am to go band. When I reached there, Wai Yee said to take our stuff and go to the hall.

We rehearsed there twice. And the 2nd time, they said the choir wanted the curtains open, so it means we can't set up the chairs and get ready and sit there while they are performing! -.- So we have less time to prepare. Why the heck would they want the curtains open and see our stands and files behind? -.- So after the 2nd rehearsal we went back to the band room. Lunch was from 12.30pm - 4pm and Mr Yu would come at 4.30pm. I was planning to go back to 3R1 to sit in for a few minutes of E Maths, but in the end when I got there they were dismissed already. I went in to ask if there was homework, no, but they started on trigonometry, argh! Then I went to wait for Chong Jin with Filzah. CY saw me and thanked me again. Then I thought he wanna shake hand, then he walk off, haha! Omg, that's so paiseh! But it's ok because he's birthday boy :)

Soon 4R1's class ended and CJ came out. We were going off when Mavis sms to ask where I was. I opened her class door and went "I'm here!" Hahaha! So CJ, Filzah, Mavis, XQ and I went for lunch together :) We had a long lunch since we only had to report back at 4pm. Chen Hua sms me to say jia you! :D Later Serene also did so, haha. We went back to school early and I couldn't get the key because Mrs Tan was at home -.- So I got Ms Chen to take it from her table. Finally, we went upstairs and Mavis and I played with the harmony director, playing Jay Chou songs. Haha, today 2 of us keep singing his songs, like 七里香，听妈妈的话，爱我别走. She thought that 七里香 was 晴天, haha. Mr Yu came as Wai Yee was conducting warm ups and taught her a bit. Then we practiced until 5. Suky came, but then at 5 the teacher said it was dinner time -.- So we went to canteen but our food haven't came and we waited for so long -.- Waste time, could have practiced more. So we went to change first and our food came. By then it was already 6pm -.- We went up at about 6.30pm. At 7pm we went down to the hall. Eh, I thought they wanted the curtains open... We went in to put our stands then came back out. But when we went in to perform the curtains were closed... Hm... Anyway, argh! I played a wrong note! -.- At bar 86 the important accompanying after the solo (which I didn't play -.-) It's Eb D C D, I went C D C D cos same position... under-pitched!!! -.- Grrr...! After that we went up to the band room to put our stuff and came back for the finale where all the performers come out and the school present our conductors/coach/whatever with a token of appreciation.

I later realised the token is a bouquet of real and pretty flowers which Mr Yu left on the conductor stand and left -.- So other people took it -.- Omg! Next Monday is Mr Yeo's birthday and Friday is Mr Yu's birthday! But Tuesday no practice for O Level listening comprehension sake. Friday is sectionals as usual. Saturday Mr Yu doesn't know if Mr Yeo's coming. Actually all these birthdays are from Mavis who got it from facebook, haha. Oh yeah, when I was shifting timpani it scraped some skin of my foot and my foot bled -.- Then I was shifting into the room with Mayumi when suddenly someone help me then I turn around, eh? Jonathan! :D

So tired... Ok so he didn't wear orange shirt today, but still striped shirt -.- Omg my senior so nice, gave me biscuit again, from Australia, haha :) My father was supposed to come to fetch me but my mother sms last minute to say he's not coming. Haha, so Jonathan sent me to the bus stop. He just came back from Australia today :O Haha, I asked him if I sit behind or in front. He was like "In front la!" LOL! Cos my father never let me sit in front last time because he said the air bag can kill me, hahaha! Er... maybe because I never sat in front before, I bang my head when I was going out -.- Seriously, it's lame la! Can bang head like that! HAHA! Seriously...

CY didn't go to watch Tapestry :( Haiz... Anyway, I love yesterday! :) Bye!

Yo! Haven't blogged since school started, which is 2 weeks. Anyway, Week 1 Tuesday, Friday, Saturday band. Week 2 Monday's (5 July) Youth Day holiday. Tuesday (6 July), Friday and Saturday band practice. Wednesday had extra practice, and Hansel's flute friend who's not our school senior came and taught flutes. Thurday went to band room cos band room duty has already started. Very funny eh, Thursday. Zi Yuan and Jaslyn on duty, then Zi Yuan called Mdm Yanti. I saw him in canteen and went to ask if he or Jas is collecting band room key. He said he's collecting but Mdm Yanti said need 5 people then can open the room. I don't know why this new rule, but ZY asked if can ask them (Cui Yi, Zhi De, Jason) to pretend, then I said ok, haha. I was also planning to go up. A while after I saw them leave, Jaslyn came and we went to General Office and they were there. He doesn't know that only teacher can draw key, so we went to the staff room upstairs. ZY dare not use the phone outside to call the teacher in the staff room. Haha, then we saw Ms Chen at the door so he asked her. She said "Ok Zi Yuan I'll see you downstairs in 5 min" HAHA! Then our 'actors' left and I said bye but they (Cui Yi & Jason) ignored me, only Panna and I forgot who said bye -.-! Anyway, that was funny. We got the key eventually and went up, haha. The flute guy came again. I played trombone and did A Maths with Jas help :) Something interesting, he used me as experiment for tuning. He asked me to push in the tuning slide all the way then listen to tuner and tune, without looking at the tuner. Then adjust the main slide. Then, adjust tuning slide according to distance moved on main slide, then play again, IN TUNE! :O Oh my gosh, I actually thought I wouldn't do it, haha. Zi Yuan left early for tuition -.-

Friday Mr Yu made special effort to come cos it's the day before NBC already. Today was 3rd National Band Competition. We started at 10am and we performed at 6+, about 6.30pm. We had lunch, no dinner. Jonathan and Suky came! They so nice you know. Suky came first and when she found out we will have late lunch she said when Jonathan go lunch with her they can buy some biscuit for us when they come back. And they really did, he go buy one tin -.- Haha! MY SENIORS SO NICE!!! I LOVE YOU ALL! :D AND I MISS KEVIN! :(

We didn't practice very much, because Mr Yu says we must save energy for the competition. We arranged chairs in the ISH first and after a while in the band room we moved there to practice. We moved in and out the 2 places constantly. We had lunch at... about 2, I don't know. But before that around 1pm had break and I went to the music room to see Suky and Jonathan, and Mr Yu playing piano, haha. He play sounds so powerful... We practiced a while more before lunch which I didn't finish, after which I went back to music room to Suky and Jonathan. I love my seniors a lot! :D We practiced a while more then went to change into band uniform and shoes. Jonathan came into the band room and I was gonna say something about our uniform. Just when Suky open the door she heard me say "The uniform very China eh!" then she burst out laughing, and Band too because of her, haha! Then we took a picture together :) Because Jonathan finds it China and never seen before, haha. Then we tuned again before leaving. Jonathan went home, Suky went with us there but not to stay, haha. There, we had about an hour before going to the tuning room at 6. We tuned and played a bit. Then went to perform. Not nervous at all, I don't know why, I think because Band is there. Never been nervous at band performances... I of course played some wrong things, after putting braces I don't expect to play like before. We waited for the bus. I had a little feeling of crying but Suky said don't cry so I managed not to. We went back to school and went home. I got sms saying we got SILVER! :D 74% Silver :) Then I sms my juniors and Jonathan (1st!), Suky, Kevin, Geck Woon, Darryl (who was there -.-) and Chen Hua. Only Kevin never reply :( Anyway, the seniors seem happy, SEEM only. Bye!

Hi, band practice on Wednesday and today. Wednesday 23 June 2010 was the worst day at band ever, other than last SYF. Gave up what was so important to me just for band's sake when they wouldn't even bother about it actually. I told a white lie, but it's actually quite obvious that it's a lie, anyone who knows me and believed it must be an idiot. But the conductors understood what I said so they went according to my wish (which is actually not entirely my wish, my wish is something else but will not be good for Band). If anyone's reading, I actually wish something but I know it'll not be good for Band, so I wish otherwise, and so I have conflicting wishes. But that was one of the most important things to me ever, which is why I was late back from break. Break will till 10.35 but I went back at 10.50, must be understanding la, but I don't think anyone even cared IF they noticed -.- Why do I even care so much about Band when they don't? I GAVE UP MY DREAM, TOLD A WHITE LIE, DISAPPOINTED MYSELF AND OTHER PEOPLE, TORTURE MYSELF FOR WHAT?! :( I thought I wasn't a selfless person, I used to be selfish right? I still am right? I don't know. They day was just sh*tty for me. After band I went to have lunch alone then project at Francoise's house again. As if I'm not emo enough he kept wasting time and slacking, reminding me of BAND! -.- I had gastric pain there, but he help me buy food :) When I went home it was painful like every step I took. I reached home at 8 by the way. Shortly after, I puked it out, then after a while the pain went away... What a lousy day. Later while I was playing with my phone, Jonathan called. Haha! He used the same trick. Pretend to be surveyor, I already recognise the number and his voice la, lol. He called to tell me he's coming today, and to give him and Geck Woon the Tapestry tickets :) I told him about my emo day... Er... he's the only person I've talked to on the phone when I don't need to. Need to as in, calling to take band key, directions (3R1 bbq, Jaslyn haha) all that.


Today Band! Jonathan and Yin Xuan came together at about 8.30am. He's the tuba player whose stapler was found in our cupboard before, haha! Walao Jonathan wear the same shirt he wore to Suky's concert! After a while Geck Woon also came and they sat at the percussion area. But less than 30min later the 2 of them gone, left YX. Then later he said wanna go toilet, then gone. We were playing Procession to Peace part G for more than 30min -.- due to some who can't count. During break, I saw they were all in music room -.- I miss Suky and she miss me too (really)! :( I went in to hear them play, they took Kevin and Darryl's files. See, even GW don't believe I don't want to play the solo. Gave them their tickets but GW can't go :( After break continue with PTP for very long until 11.30 then Symphonium. I know, the feeling won't go away. It's not nice. I want my senior (I know got 2 seniors today, but I want Kevin)! I miss my senior! :'( I miss his solo! Damn now Mr Yu say he wants tenor sax (Serene) to play too. After band GW talked to the band and committee. She likes "Jaslyn's solo" but I don't.

Section 08 lunch today! Which means my 3 seniors because in 2008 I was Sec 1. I think I was the earliest, even though I was only a few minutes early -.- A few minutes later I saw a long person in an oversized white shirt. KEVIN!!! :D I couldn't be more right ^_^ Then I ran there and waited with him for Darryl and Cai Yan. Darryl was late (when he himself organised it). Cai Yan was later. Well if I didn't sms her I think she'd be later. We went in Tampines Mall to look for her because she was already there. She asked them for the $5.80 (now I know how much my birthday gifts last year cost! Haha, oops) because she no money left. Then I remembered I brought the $15 I took for Kevin for the SYF photos we paid but never got -.- Then we went to Swensens for lunch.

Instead of deciding what to eat, we were talking and took so long before ordering, haha. I gave them the Hokkaido milk sweet ^_^ I can't believe Cai Yan & Darryl ordered PRAWNS (I dislike prawns by the way) -.- It's obviously not enough, haha! Kevin got blackpepper seafood pasta. I used to eat that almost everytime I went to Swensens some years ago. I ate some fish with apricot cream thing again. Last time I ate the same thing at the same place... We took some pictures while waiting for the food. Aww... Kevin is SHY! :D Every single time CY try to take his picture he cover with the menu that's quite big, hahaha! Because she's too obvious already. When I take, they don't even know, HAHA! Since Sec 1 I've been doing that :P I finally told Darryl about the photo I took in Sec 1, but not the details, just say I took a photo of him, haha. I also take of Kevin. Then Darryl tell him "You better be careful, she got a lot of photos of you." It's not a lot, just 2 each only. Hehe, I showed him the photo of him playing trombone in school :D I said "Nice right?" "NO!" Hahaha, hehe xP So anyway, I took pictures with CY and of the guys (secretly of course)...

Kevin's food came first, followed by the prawns. Then we talk talk talk, suddenly I wondered why they're not eating. 1 second later it occured to me that they're waiting for me, aww... :) By then I was hungry although at first I wasn't. And finally my food came so we ate! :)

I ate the slowest as usual. (When I was in Japan I also took my time to eat) They had a hard time getting the prawns out of the shells, HAHA! Oh by the way, when the prawns came there was a strong smell which I didn't like, really didn't like. Although their prawns were hard to eat, they still finished before me, haha! But they were still hungry (of course) so they got the same pasta. (Why everything same?) Kevin had breakfast so he was full :) Good boy :) Haha! So now I finished before them, yay! Haha! I said I prefer eating with them than Jaslyn and Xue Qi because when they finish eating they'll put down their cutlery like trying to say I'm very slow, haha. But my seniors won't! They go for second round :) Last year Trombone Outing also some of them had 2nd round, haha, 陪我. Actually it's because they're hungry but I take it that they 陪我. Anyway, Kevin drank all the water in the... bottle or what they provided to refill, haha! Oh ya then once I saw and heard the waitress drop 10 cents from change that was going to be given to customer. Then I told them she drop still don't know. Then Darryl said excuse me but maybe she's hard of hearing, then he picked up and wanted to give her then she deaf or what go walk off. Then walk all the way to the customer with Darryl behind, HAHAHAHAHA! Only when she reached the customer table then he gave her the coin -.- SO FUNNY! When he's walking behind her we're watching and laughing!

When we were gonna pay the bill, very funny. Since got 1 for 1 lunch and me and Kevin's food same price, Darryl told us to share but I don't want. I first one throw out $15 (it costs $14.90) but Darryl don't let me treat Kevin! Grrrrr! Then he gimme back $5. But he ask Kevin to pay the GST and he agreed, so he paid $15. NOT FAIR!!! He make Kevin treat the GST don't let me treat Kevin -.- GRRRR! Was so close to success but! Darryl jealous, haha! So in the end I got $2.25 change -.- Very confusing everybody pay their own then all the money in front of Darryl, haha! After sorting out we paid the bill to... the woman who dropped the money. Kevin say later drop $10, haha! Then I realised, the bill all become $10 notes. After we left, we walked around Tampines Mall and then to Tampines One and back to Mall, haha! Until 3+ when CY had to leave. Then we went seperate ways, CY went bus interchange, then Darryl also after that. Kevin was going to watch movie at Vivo City with friends but walk me to my bus stop and wait with me first. Aww... ^_^ So nice :) So nice he refused my treat. But if Darryl just took the money Kevin couldn't refuse!!! Anyway, today was fun even though we spent hours walking aimlessly doing nothing, haha! ONE section photo only, but I heard it was nice (didn't dare see, haha). Darryl's gonna send the pictures to me! Except those Cai Yan took of him, hehe.

Hello! I am back from Japan! I'm early today, woke up then couldn't go back to sleep. I missed Wednesday and Friday's band practice :( On the 2nd last day of my trip I had a weird dream, kind of a bad dream but it's not a nightmare. Yesterday was the last day by the way. I dreamt of my section, and trombone. In my dream, it was band practice. First, I played when I wasn't supposed to play, then Ding Cong told me I wasn't supposed to play. Then after that, trombone was supposed to play, but I didn't play, instead I rest (so it's opposite the previous mistake). Then again, Ding Cong told me. After that, I felt so lousy I cried there quite badly. And it's not because my junior corrected me (which is very rare) but because those were stupid mistakes. It's weird because I would never make that kind of mistake unless we're sight reading a new piece, then I won't be the only one. It's also weird because Ding Cong actually corrected me (I'm not saying he's usually to lousy to correct me ok! Just that he doesn't usually. Actually I don't remember any time he did). Then the weirdest thing (other than my mistakes) is that the person who actually consoled me when I cried was Benjamin -.- NOW THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOREVER! That's freaking weird!

I haven't had breakfast yet. I got lots of Hello Kitty stuff in Japan, haha! There was one entire shop with Kitty stuff. And another shop had one entire section for it. OMG never seen so many Kitty before, haha! I kept thinking of people... I wish holidays can end soon, but I also haven't finished my homework. And I'm going for lunch with Section 08 on Friday!!! :D I miss my family so much!!! I'm gonna treat Kevin!!! :D Nobody treat Darryl! Haha! Then on Sunday we're having a class barbecue, we're not barbecuing the class though, haha! Which reminds me, when am I meeting my Chinese group? I'm initiating ok but they are seriously SLOW. Bye bye.

Yesterday I slept after 12am, know why? Because I had 2 childish seniors, Darryl and Jonathan (who claims to be an old man already) who kept bombarding me about the same thing at the same time omg. Actually one was purposely the other was accidentally. Eh I think Darryl you are the one who likes him! Haha! He said his conductor is Lin Sheng then I asked if he's from (somewhere) then he said not everyone is from (somewhere) ^.^ (You know what the face means?) I wasn't even thinking of him! Omg, you like him la, everytime the smallest thing related to him you'll think of him, HAHAHA! Then Jonathan is cos eh... he was talking about BGR (as usual) then I say I got emo partner. Then he keep asking haha! So then the both of them were bombarding me together on the same thing same time. I'M NOT TELLING! AND DARRYL YOU BETTER SHUT UP, HAHAHA! :D

Oops, I forgot what happened at last Friday's practice. Let me think...

Mdm Yanti was in charge, she's back after having her baby! Omg Vanessa actually came today. Sounds unfamiliar? That's because she hasn't been coming since forever, so I never wrote anything about my junior, who's not my junior anymore. I think we warmed up together first then Sec 1s went to music room while we stayed in band room.

The usual stuff... In the last hour of practice or so, Mr Yeo left the juniors to do sectionals while he came to take a look at us. Before practice ended, we went over to see the Sec 1s perform for us! Now that Vanessa is on tenor saxophone, Jun Yuan (eupho) is the only lower brass player left (no tubist) so he got quite a lot of 'solo' in Chorus of Frogs, haha. He's quite good (or maybe the rest are not good). Jaslyn you better be proud of him! Then Mdm Yanti said that they're gonna change uniform, omg. Hello, which band changes uniform after one year?! People only change after a few years -.- For more than a decade, we've been using the same uniform. Only last year we changed to the long sleeve ugly uniform. Then, Hong Kong Winter Band Festival, it's $700. Later she said those who've gone on school overseas trips before have no subsidy so it's $1000 -.- And finally news about the SYF photos! The order wasn't processed so we get our money back -.- Couldn't they have returned us the money earlier, it's more than a year already! Even this year's Sec 4s left already, let alone LAST YEAR'S sec 4s. ...

Today, we had marching in the ISH because it was raining and the groung was wet. Half way, those basketballers barged in and we were forced to leave even though we haven't marched for 45min. What the heck is that? We got the key to the ISH -.- Darryl came back. He came at 9+ and Cliff came too. After warm up (they came in the middle of warm up) woodwinds went to music room while we brasses stayed in the band room. Actually that's not because woodwinds are easier to shift like what Mr Yeo said before, it's because I didn't wear socks today and you're supposed to remove your shoes in the music room, HAHA! Darryl took us while Cliff took the woodwinds. They are like our Mr Yeo and Mr Yu today :) But the brasses didn't last long, cos they irritated Darryl with their attitude and their playing so we had sectionals. Trombones shifted in front, but still very noisy. Darryl taught us :) Mostly Procession To Peace, the entire song. So today, I learnt that the starting part where we have only a few notes should be bell tone. And PTP is supposed to be a cute song? Benjamin still cannot count 2 bars before H. Seriously what's his problem?! Already clap tempo still can lag like no one's business, and it's so freaking obvious. Heh, I think after leaving us Darryl's attitude improved already. It's ironic... Then we played Symphonium the starting only. Then he took a eupho out to help me with Kevin's solo. Omg when he take out the eupho and put there and go wash mouthpiece I felt like crying when I saw it. Suddenly entire mood change like mood swing but luckily it didn't last long. Last time eupho took the solo from me, then now he's using a eupho, it's like an insult to me. I could play the G a few times today. Then combine both songs, Darryl played with Benjamin (with the eupho) in Procession to Peace. When came to Symphonium, I ask him to play for me, so he sit beside me and play with me. When came to the solo, omg, we're not together, and he... doesn't know how to play. I thought he does cos he played with a trombone before... No energy already, last few bars never play, he also never play. Nothing unusual because I'm always tired. If I'm more tired then I skip the last few bars. -.- Then whether he play with me or not no difference what! Oh ya, he looks like he didn't wear socks also, but I think have, haha. Got back the damn money for the SYF photo today. Darryl didn't even know he paid. I took for Kevin! I'm going to see him on 18 June for lunch with Darryl and Cai Yan (2008 section)! YAY!!! ♥♥♥ I owe you a treat! :D

Band yesterday. Marching sucked, for the first time. Mr Yeo teach us to walk 8 steps in 5m for the entire time until 9 o'clock -.- In the sports hall -.- I'd rather do the usual stuff in the quadrangle under the sun...

Then we went to set up the ISH and our instruments and Mr Yu came. Sec 1s stayed in the band room, as usual for Saturday. Today's the last Saturday practice before holiday schedule begins... Mr Yu did Procession to Peace for very long. Suky came! At 10+ and sat with us :D Jonathan didn't come (though he said he would) because he's sick. Oh... I wanted to give him that first Tapestry ticket in the whole school, haha! :D Mr Yu is very confusing, I don't know if it's his English or just him. During warm up we play scales, his instructions keep changing. Then during my 8 bars after D "solo" in PTP (Yu Bin's also playing it) he first said want crescendo then decrescendo, so I wrote on my score already. Then after playing he say do away with the crescendo because cannot hear the first part. Then after that he said mine is background music (which it is NOT) so play softer. Then I play softer (and it sounds muted) and he says that's it -.- And how am I supposed to decrescendo then? Suky says just ignore the decrescendo, so be it. Why must he make me sound like a horn? I don't like it. In the professional recording, trombone is bright, not the background music! And last time he said the trombone Symphonium solo is the counter melody while horn is the melody. ARE YOU SURE?! EVEN SUKY THINKS THAT BOTH OF THESE ARE THE MELODIES. I'm very sure Symphonium trombone is solo, just hear the parts can tell already what! Anyway, today's Symphonium sucked because I was tired. More tired than usual. Play the starting tired already, by the time reach the solo even worse. And, IF YOU THINK YOUR JUNIOR WHO'S NOT A TROMBONIST SHOULD BE PLAYING THE SOLO, THEN YOU GO PUT METAL IN HER MOUTH THEN YOU COME AND BE ARROGANT WITH ME. IF YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING, GO SHOVE METAL IN YOUR MOUTH. 你什么都不知道，却自以为是地鄙视别人，以为你学妹比别人都好。好阿，那你去绑牙，自己经历一下看看你还能不能吹奏乐器。叫你学妹去绑牙啦，如果她吹得比我好我就佩服她啦。I dare to face anything anyone gives me if I dare to write this, don't worry.

Hansel's buying a ticket from me too :) After band, took bus with Suky, and Francoise and Robin happened to be there too! Bye!

Forgive my broken promise that you'll never see me cry...

After school today, I had lunch then sat with Serene and read book while she did Chinese practice paper, letter writing. Slept a while before band right there, haha, at the canteen. At 2.30pm many people were not there, late. I got them to warm up together before they went for sectionals in the 2 small rooms. Wai Yee conducted first since Dion went toilet and I didn't wanna wait. He took over when he came back. After that, we went to the 2 tiny stuffy rooms. It's so hard to hear anything in there, I don't like that.

Very soon after we reached there, Darryl came. He taught Benjamin warm up, Great Band Workout half step down up, which we just did with Wai Yee (halfway). At first I practice separately from them but soon we did sectionals, yay. Haven't done that for a long time, but at a place where no one can hear no one -.- Darryl took Kevin's trombone, which used to be his before he graduated. Today we played Procession To Peace, Landmark Overture and Symphonium. Well, he took my LO score and went out to play at first, then came back in and teach a bit, clap tempo. After playing the whole PTP he wanted to play LO so we played bar 160, our beautiful melody! :D The notes not easy to read, and tempo quite fast, (he wanted faster -.-) so actually only him and I played mainly. Then Symphonium but not together. I played my solo and teach Benjamin my solo also, just in case. He's forgotten the back part, so I taught him again. Darryl of course wasn't with us the whole time, he wouldn't do that. He frequently goes to slack outside at the corridor. I'm quite satisfied with today's sectionals cos I haven't done it in a long time. Darryl you unfaithful trombonist senior. Your TJC thing, fine you didn't have a choice. But this is way too much, since when did you have to play that? One minute you make me happy and forget about school today, the next, you make me so angry I think back of the lousy day, which you made lousier. You should know better than to agitate me like that, whether I had a lousy day or not, because you very well know that I can't take it. At 5+ we had a brass combine on PTP. Actually I only wanted lower brass because all the brasses would be very loud and echo, but they joined in so... It was not together, haha. Then we went up and Dion conducted PTP again for the whole band. Then keep things.

I took attendance for the 3rd time ever since I was BM -.- Seeing you with that thing already pisses me off more than enough and you still let me see you with that person. And why is it when I'm trying to show my unhappiness at you, you're smiling?! I thought you'd be unhappy also, but why do you seem completely unaffected? Is that fake or what? Seriously what are you thinking?! Can't you just be more faithful and loyal? And sorry for screaming at you when you counted wrongly, because I was pissed off and it's not my fault. You probably won't even be here to read this... Anyway, you should know why I'm so affected, but you don't seem to.
