21st Century International Band Competition pictures from the website
♫♪I love NAS, Concert Band, Trombones and my seniors!!♪♫I went to the 21st Century International Band Festival website http://www.21ccad.com.sg/2008band/en_gallery.htm. It's the Genting competition last year. Actually last year I also went but there was nothing about the competition, only other competitions. But now the results are there, and the pictures also! This is the trombone & eupho workshop. Is this our workshop or is it another group of people?!?! Should be us la... or else why only 3 pictures?! But don't look like -.- Another time when we watching Japanese bands videos in room 10 I could hear something, I thought it's another trombone workshop in room 11... The one on the left looks like Darryl...
This group of people is the same as those in the previous picture. The one at my place don't look like me one bit.
This one confirm is our workshop, although we're not in this picture -.- But those 3 euphos nearest to the camera is our school eupho section. And I remember the Caucasian on the right.

Happy Chinese New Year!

祝大家万事如意，年年有余，身体健康，长命百岁，学业进步！Wishing everyone a prosperous year ahead, (I don't know how to say this in Chinese, but I know prosperity is 福) good health, long lives and improvement in studies!
Today I'm very bored. I have no CNY clothes by the way, so I wore a grey blouse bought from Taiwan last year. It's new, never worn before. I went to my grandparents' house at 10am+. I sms so many people but hardly any replied. Darryl replied in Chinese leh! Not bad! At my grandparents' house was my grandparents and aunt, my family (4), my cousin's family (3), my uncle and his white female dog. I just wished people happy new year and got red packet from them. Then I never talk. Just continue to sms Darryl, so very bored. We sms in Chinese eh! But not all la, just a few, because his Chinese is too lousy haha. Nothing to talk about also. They're all so old. I don't like dogs, this dog doesn't bite or even bark, it just licks, and I don't like licks. Yesterday I went there for reunion dinner, it was there too. At first I back away from it, then I got tired of doing that, so I just have no reaction when it comes to me. But I won't touch it, it just comes to me. My aunt (cousin's mother) screams when it goes near her, haha. I never scream at all, see I so good girl :) She doesn't get tired of screaming. I really had nothing to do there... Sitting on the couch looking at the TV but not really watching, mainly it was sms-ing only, isn't that pathetic? -.- Oh yes, you know what sms I sent? I wrote "Happy 牛 Year all my dearests! Hope you get lots of money from angpaos, haha. I love you all! (So love me more! :D)" Haha! I think CNY used to be more interesting. Bye bye!

Band practice
♫♪I love NAS, Concert Band, Trombones and my seniors!!♪♫20 January 2009 Tuesday
Band practice today. Assembly ended at 2pm, practice starts at 3pm, so went canteen to have lunch. After I set up my trombone, help Darryl set up his trombone and put it outside at his seat. Aren't I such a nice junior? ^_^ We started warm ups. During warm ups, CH & CH were outside the room. After warm ups with Total Training then they came in. It was about 3.30pm then. Continued with some more warm ups, very long today. And I am definitely back to normal. I can get my high Eb high F again :) We played Eb major scale and even Eb major scale with after every note go to Eb again. Like Eb, F, Eb, G, Eb, Ab then after reaching the high Eb, same thing, so we play high Eb a lot of times :O And I can play :) I was already normal yesterday when I played Jaslyn's part of Monmouth with high F. Yay!
Today whole day Overture No. 1! After warm ups, we played once through the whole song. Mr Yeo said it's his first time hearing us play it. Really meh? After playing it, Mr Yeo focus on part by part. Starting part, we have melody so we played. Then another time is after the 10 bar rests. Kevin played jazz, haha! My turn, I play once only, but this time I didn't follow dynamics, I played soft throughout, don't know why. When I finished, Darryl and Kevin started laughing but I have no idea at what. I was wondering if I played something wrong, but I was quite sure I got every note. Then Mr Yeo told Kevin "她的最难听，你的最好听。" And I don't understand, was it that horrible? After that very boring because we don't have that much melody. Very boring. We dismissed late because Mr Yeo told us his life story for 30min. Oh ya, also very lonely today. That's all, bye!

Band Practice & CNY Rehearsal

19 January 2009 Monday
Last Saturday Ms Leong said there'd be a CNY rehearsal today, so obviously the quintet has to go. But this morning, after assembly, Mr Lim (band teacher) asked all band members to see him. So I went to see him and Ms Ong. Ms Ong said other CCAs are having the whole CCA perform so it's not nice if we only have 5 people perform. And she said, almost every band member will get at least A2 at the end of secondary school because of all the concerts & performances we have. And she thinks it's not fair that only those 5 people get the CCA points and the rest don't, so she asked Mr Yeo and wanted to pick a song that's still fresh so she chose Sesame Street. Then like last year, the band played Incredibles then the 5 came out. So the band will play Sesame Street then the 5 people come out. When she said this my reaction was like "Aaahhh!" Then I kept shaking my head then she said "Rebecca, you shake your head, are you not sure about Sesame Street?" Then I shook my head again. Aaaahhh! Then went for lesson.
At 3pm I went upstairs because Ms Ong said she wants us to run through in the room before going to the hall for the rehearsal. After a while, we went in and set up instruments. I flipped to Sesame Street and shift my stand closer to Cheng Heng. Then he look in his file and said "Ah Sesame Street." I asked him "What you looking for?" He said "Sesame Street." I said "Here." "Oh ya hor only got one" Haha, cute. We did warm up with Chromatic Low Tones conducted by Germaine. I think she's going to be student conductor. Then we practised SS. After a few times, we went downstairs.
So boring there, 3.30pm is when the full rehearsal starts, not the one for band what. We could actually have stayed up there. Hours at the hall you know! I just play and play anything I want. A while later Darryl came.
Oh ya, there's one part at Overture No. 1 I blasted a bit then there's echo throughout the whole hall, yeah! :D Finally we gathered in concert order. Then we went by the back door to the stage. Before we started they go on the spotlight! Then they go fiddle with the stage lights. When we playing, the stage lights keep going on and off, tsk, stage light have to be one obviously, so people can see us and we can see our scores! After that, the 5 people came out. The band so nice, they clapped as we played and after we finished they clapped & cheered. Aawww... :) Then go back upstairs and dismissed. Band practice & SYF uniform

Band practice today! First thing in the morning, marching. Again split into two groups, now I'm under Rebekah. CH didn't come! :( Our group didn't count, last time in LR's group we count. Then later we combine together. Then 9am went back to the room. Actually we went upstairs first, I set up my trombone and stand. Then we came down. When we went upstiars, LR asked us to go for sectionals, warm up during sectionals. But Ms Leong wanted to get 5 people for CNY quintet. Not whole band will be performing. It'll be like last year, 5 people (I remember CY playing) for Da Di Hui Chun. Two clarinets, a horn, a trumpet and a darling trombone. She asked if I'm the only trombone today, ya I am. Then she got Tian Hoe & Benedict (clarinet) Yihui (trumpet). She wanted Shazana but she don't want, so she got Brandon, at first don't want but Ms Leong got irritated so he took it. Trombone- me of course, if my kor kors were there, she'd definitely not get me.
So 5 of us took our stands and went to the music room on the other side of the store room. She passed us the scores and we started practising. Later LR came and said he gave the others break, so Ms Leong gave us break too. Went toilet only and after that I took pictures! :D Of our sectionals places. Then went back to music room and waited for the rest to come back. Break from 10.10am to 10.40am. The guys were late. After they came back, we continued. This time we stood because we'll be standing on the actual day in the hall. When we end, the note is fermata so we have to hold till Tian Hoe gives the que to stop. Ms Leong recorded us! Sounds like a duck. It wasn't perfect. But Ms Leong said me and Yihui were the most constant ones.
After a while, past 11am, we went out. When I went out I saw Darryl walking! I practised A Monmouth Overture. Then later he came. He didn't set up his trombone because it was already past 11.30am then. Problem at the semiquavers again :( 4 semiquavers at the 4th count of bar 21. We completed the whole song. Then we move on to "Monmouth". We doing half way (not even half actually) then Rebekah shout for horn and trombone to go in. So I put down my trombone and went. Darryl of course don't need to already so he used my trombone.
So I went in and waited so long. Finally my turn, XS size for skirt and blouse. Have to change in the store room, yucks. When I rushed out. Darryl left already :( I pressed the water key, so much saliva! Dismiss at 1pm-.- Apparently LR didn't want us to leave when the rest were trying uniforms. Why not? There's OLE (Outdoor Learning Experience) today. Our school hosting old folks. Our class was supposed to be one of the performing classes but the trainer chose 5 to be befrienders and bring the old folks to the hall. I was chosen -.- So I didn't perform, and learn the songs for nothing. Boring. I of course didn't talk to them. After performances in the hall, they went to play games downstairs, then they went for lunch. Then we went for lunch. After school, I was already in bus 27 then I found out there's practice today. So I went to the other side of the road to take 27 to Tampines. Nadhirah there already, Jaslyn came later. Then Assiddiq, he saw us then went don't know where. Then me and Nadhirah went downstairs to look for Ms Ong, then Assiddiq came with the key, just nice.
I didn't bring my file. Set up baobei trombone and looked for Darryl's file but couldn't find, so just took CH's file. Mr Yeo came and said he'll come around teaching us. Anyway, I remember my Overture No. 1 notes but only a bit of A Monmouth Overture. Mr Yeo came and teach me, then he lend me conductor score, which I didn't use because I memorised. I didn't learn anything. I played from CH's file :D And I played CH's parts too :D I so nice help him to write "Bb scale" and "Eb scale" where there's key signature change in Overture No. 1 :) Mr Yeo teach me twice eh -.- Boring. Got break, after going toilet, I went to walk around the school. Then went back to the room. I was telling Jaslyn one of the befrienders of my class don't know Hokkien then the "How are you?" he said it as "Lu hobo" hahaha! Then I said I never say anything but better than saying 'lu hobo' then Mr Yeo said I just said a lot of things, never heard me say so much before. Then obviously he hasn't hear me argue with Darryl. I argue with him better than CH argue with him. They 2 always argue non-stop last time. Then continue playing. I oiled my slide too :D 6pm dismissed, I wash the bowl and mouthpiece. I don't remember the last time I washed mouthpiece after practice. Bye, shouldn't have gone for band practice.

Band practice

Band practice today! I went upstairs at 2.40pm. I thought the door would be unlocked already and I wanted to go and set up the things, but in the end we waited until a few minutes past 3pm. When the door was finally unlocked I went in and set up my trombone. Warm ups-Chromatic Low Tones and Total Training. The Total Training dropped on the bowl and got wet. I took tissue paper to clean it. Lonely again today...
We started with A Monmouth Overture. The starting part is played by eupho, saxophone and horn. Then when Mr Yeo asked them to play and they play, CH gave a very exaggerated look to show that it sounds horrible and I stared at him when he was doing that. Hahaha! After a while, we went for sectionals. Darryl said eco garden got echo so he went to the place outside the classrooms where the papers flew everywhere. We did A Monmouth Overture. He asked me to listen to tuba at bar 31 then I said I know already. I don't want to depend on other sections to learn my part. Anyway, suddenly some wind came and we all held our stands and they didn't drop! :D Then water came down from on top?!?! Luckily CH wasn't standing behind a bit, or he'd have gotten wet. Then Mr Yeo came to teach trumpet...
We practising half way, Mr Yeo came, and teach me -.- From bar 46 until a few bars before 57. He said I'm like driving a Ferrari with only one cup of fuel. Once he told me to blow air into the trombone only. But I kept accidentally buzzing,so he ask me take out mouthpiece and blow into the receiver. I didn't want to because it was green and I said that. Then he say just don't lick it la. But I still didn't want to. So he told me to buzz. I buzzed all the notes correctly then he said I managed to get all the notes and he was surprised, but I need more air. All the way until 5.22pm then go back -.- Then combine I think. I forgot what happened already. Bye.

Band practice

Band practice again today! :D I wore class T-shirt today, it's just my name and 22 behind and Rsix in front which looks more like "Kiss" from far -.- We gathered at the area beside the staircase because there's marching. At first the whole band was together then after a short while, Liang Rong split us up into 2 groups, my row is the last one in his group, Germaine onwards is Rebekah's. Marching... marching... fun! :D There's once Liang Rong gave the command to turn left, then we turn then Liang Rong say we're supposed to turn a bit not 180 degrees. Oops, did I turn so much? Actually it's Faris' fault too. Then another time Liang Rong gave the command to turn left then Jonathan turn left and Chen Hua and Cheng Heng turn right, haha! Marching half way then split. Haha! We finished at 9.20am. Then we went upstairs and set up our instruments.
We did warm ups with Ms Leong. Then after that we went for break. I stapled those papers that kept flying in the wind for him, see he got such a nice junior. I took picture of his A Monmouth Overture score. When he came back from break, we went for sectionals. We used the place in front of the plants. We're supposed to be back upstairs at 11.30am. Today I talk a lot to Cheng Heng! I think a bit too much, haha. But we never talk about other things la, band and trombone only. We started with A Monmouth Overture. My rhythm is so different from his. He know what 73 means already. (Yay!) He said if there's Horns then he don't need to play.
He said that sometimes I'll suddenly play a note louder. Heheh. Then he refer to Overture No.1 . He said I always blast at this part, which is the all crotchet part. At the top of 2nd page of Monmouth, we have high D but now I cannot reach it. Try to play like as if when you play you want the leaf to shake. Haha, cool, cool. We stopped at the top part of the 2nd page because there was a part we didn't know how to play. Then Cheng Heng said "Ok never mind, Overture No. 1 :D" Haha! I love my senior :)
He told me the trombones he used, quite confusing, even he is confused. Anyway, a few minutes before 11.30am he asked me whether I want to go back, then I said the trumpets still there. Then we talked until past 11.30am and then we went up. We're supposed to do stock take and see how many instruments we have for Sec 1s. Aiya, so easy, the silver trombones la, they're the only ones for Sec 1s. T1 and T2 are on top of the cupboards he just stretched his hand and took them down. For this part, I'm glad Darryl didn't come or I'd have nothing to do! I'm happy I did stock take with CH! :) I washed the bowl today! :D I volunteered to wash it :D After stock take, go home. I always smell like trombones after band practice :D

Today there's PE, take height and weight. I'm only 156cm?!?! I expected at least 160cm by now! Later in the day there's Geography, chapter 2 population. Mdm Jamilah's slide show had 2 pictures taken during lower sec assembly last year! :O I saw Chen Hua, so I knew that Cheng Heng must be somewhere near there, then I saw Cheng Heng :D Lesson ended at 12.30pm, band practice starts at 2.30pm, so went to canteen to eat. I saw Darryl with Karl. I saw Samuel when I was in the bus to school yesterday :D After a few minutes went upstairs. I set up my trombone. Cliff said Mr Yeo's not coming because he's preparing for his wedding tomorrow. Then he told us to go for sectionals. Darryl went to the same place that Jezer used. I just set up my stand and Darryl's NCC friend came and asked "Your junior ah?" "Ya" Of course his junior right? I can't be his senior right?
We did warm ups. Then we did Overture No. 1 the starting. I have low notes. He said aim at that block. Last time Jezer said his senior make him and other juniors blast at that block because they always complaint when they have band BBQ. Then he ask me to hold the trombone higher. 90 degrees. I playing and he clapping the tempo then the wind blew and my whole stand dropped, haha. "Nature strikes back" Then I turned around and saw Cheng Heng walking down the steps.
Anyway, he do warm ups himself while Darryl continue teaching me. The wind blowing my file, Darryl ask Kevin for wallet (because I don't have) and he lent his wallet. Then the wind still blowing, blow his wallet also, then 50 cents drop out on the floor. Then the wind blew again and 5 cents dropped out this time. Then I said "Eh got $1 here eh!" on the stand, haha. Then he gave him back his wallet because it didn't help much. We went to a different place but still that area outside the classrooms, the bridge there. We used 3 areas there, but still the wind blew. Ask us to aim at that block.
Still windy, we changed to a third place there. CH said he's now 190cm! We hardly played before the wind came again. CH's scores went flying everywhere and they went running everywhere after it. The stands dropped too although their files are heavy. Then 2 scores flew past the wall, oops. And went downstairs, then CH ran down the stairs to the first floor to get it. Darryl found another place. We went inside where it's not open space, but same level, 4th. Finally we could practice! I asked "Today's Tuesday right?" He said "Friday! Tuesday! You 3 days back in time ah?" "Sorry la!" Because Tuesday also has practice what. Practise a while then went back already. Taufiq was there.
People were late, they settled at 4.40pm and got lecturing by him. There was no break. Darryl went to tell him about leaving early. Then we play Overture No. 1. Darryl left at 5pm. Then he wanted us to play the ending part. So we're playing again and again. I so nice waved bye to him haha! Then we do A Monmouth Overture. When I empty saliva, CH looking at me and he started laughing. I went "What?" He say my saliva went outside the bowl. "I cannot see what!" I really want longer hands faster! At the bottom of 1st page there's a few bars with the notes smaller than the others. Then he's like "What's all this?" I also don't know, haha. We kept our instruments and took our bags. Ms Ong talked to us. She said we just accepted a performance at Orchard Road. :O Cool! I read from Rebekah's blog, there's marching tomorrow :D

Performance for Sec 1 Orientation

Yesterday I asked Darryl (by sms) what time today's Sec 1 Orientation is. He said 'They nvr say." So I asked Cheng Heng, he told me it's 230 so I thanked him :) Lessons ended at 1.30pm. I went to the canteen with Xue Qi for lunch. Met Mavis by chance and she said Rebekah said it's immediately after lesson but I believed Cheng Heng, so I ate first. Jaslyn joined us later. We reached the room at 2+, very few were there. I heard the Sec 3s & 4s have lesson until 2.30pm. Today we face the door so that there's space in front of us for the Sec 1s. So cramp!! My section no space la! Last row got 3 trombonists, 4 tubas and I think 5 trumpets -.- What's more trombone right to the left beside the whiteboard.
Ms Leong was here, Mr Yeo wasn't. She asked if we're comfortable with Kokomo, then someone said no. Then she said if no then we won't play it -.- Tsk, who the heck was that?! Before Cheng Heng and Darryl came, one batch of Sec 1s (don't know how many classes) came and Rebekah introduced every section. Some people play a note, some just show the instrument. I just stood up, held the trombone high, then sat down again without a word, haha. Someone laughed and said one only. What one only, got short term memory is it? The rest not here yet cannot ah? Even if only got one so what? Got problem is it? Oboe also only got one what, nothing wrong with that right? We played Sesame Street. Serene hadn't come yet so there's no one blocking me and the Sec 1s were standing so they can see me. We played Sesame Street only, no Kokomo because of that selfish idiot. When I played my melody at 'Peanut Butter' those near me looked at me! Because that part I played louder :D I played a few wrong notes, but the first time was the most perfect one. Then Darryl and Cheng Heng came. Very cramp.
Today I'm not so lonely, yay! :D Darryl talk to me a lot, and Cheng Heng a bit also, better than yesterday. Must talk to Cheng Heng more also, as much as Darryl, although it's not as much as when they argue. Eh? Now they're not arguing anymore! I think we played 7 times altogether, because I remember taking turns to introduce 7 times. I remember the second time we introduced trombone, Darryl say want to do 'this one' together. It's the trail. It's the one where we pull the slide without tonguing. Then when he finished, he sat down and just started without counting. Then somehow Cheng Heng managed to play together but I didn't. I was late, so it's not together. Then later I say he never count. Cheng Heng said "Ya lor you never count! You just start then we (looks surprised and hold up the trombone)" Haha, it's not that exaggerated. Third time he sat down after talking then Rebekah move on to percussion -.- Then someone told her then she "Wait wait, trombone wants to play something!"
I think it's around this time one batch very noisy. Then Darryl got so irritated he said "Are we here to perform or to watch them talk?" Ya it's irritating and probably tiring for Rebekah. 4th time Cheng Heng introduced. He held up the trombone just like me, high up :D He said the trombone is special because it uses a slide and you must have long hands to play it, haha. Then 5th time he left out the long hands then Rebekah said it. 6th time it's me I said "This is the trombone. It's unique because it has a slide so you have to have long hands to play it" Then I trail down and up, still standing. Don't know why Darryl always sit down first then trail.
Oh ya, we talked about Chinese name, our siblings, and... other things. Then I ask how to write Darryl's Chinese name, he said he don't want to show me -.- But in the end, me & CH figured it out, haha. And we talked about Cai Yan, her hyper behaviour. Then about CL teacher, Mr Liu -.- He' still teaching me, and Darryl's class HMT. I forgot how that got into topic. I told Darryl he teaches his class HMT also. Then he said he doesn't take higher mother tongue. I said I know, obviously. Then CH "Obviously la!" He's in 3R3 :) Oh ya, our section play CO songs. Darryl trying to play Matsuri then I asked if he can play Ju Hua Tai.
He talk half way got saliva on my hand. "You spit on me!" CH "Bad senior!" then later CH talk got saliva on Darryl. "You spit on me!" Hahaha! Yesterday also Mr Yeo asked the whole band to play the beginning of Kokomo (our melody). CH "Yes! Beginning! Beginning!..." Then Darryl wipe his face. "Sorry sorry!" Haha! Back to today. I asked why his bell always drip water. He said got meh? I said look at your pants. Then got a drop of water there, "Eh?... Condensation, condensation." HAHA! There was some dust or small insect drifting in front of Darryl. Then Darryl point at it while it drifted. "Aiya, it's just a.... don't know what thing only!" "Spider..." -.- ? Oh ya, me & Darryl were talking about the bowl spilling that time then I said I want to take the bowl and splash it in his (the one who spilled it) face. Then he said so evil then I said his senior bully me eh! Then I told him about telling her he spilled it. Then he asked "Then she said it's ours right?" I said "No, she just say then you clean la" Then Darryl say it's her own junior spill then she don't want to clean... He seemed quite irritated, he was from their section before so I didn't expect him to be so irritated... But anyway, that means he cares right? :)
CH kept laughing at me today. He say I watch Sesame Street. Then also once I asked Darryl if he's cold, he said no. I was so cold! Then later I said I'm shaking already. Then CH I think twice saw me shaking and said "Shaking... hahaha..." Then the third time I look up and saw him looking at me then he turn away and never laugh, haha! Then Ms Ong came with the CD of the Genting competition. We watched only ours and I saw trombone. Darryl emptying saliva during the long rests and the camera showed him, haha! I remember that part when we were playing. Then they were like "Darryl emptying saliva!" "Anything wrong with that?! Anything wrong with that?!" Just after the video ended, another batch came. Just nice, haha. Darryl introduced. Finished at almost 7! Bye bye.

Band practice

I was late today. I walked into the school after 7.45am then the guy stopped me -.- I turned around and saw Cheng Heng, haha! His long pants so long! The guy told us to stand 5 in a row, I & CH first row (but not beside each other), which means we're one of the earliest latecomers. Yesterday I also came after 7.45, and it was Mr Vincent Lee there. But he just stood at the staircase and didn't stop the group of people what. Isn't he a discipline master or something? I don't even know who that guy is, if he's even a teacher. He doesn't even look like one. Went to class with my mood affected for the whole Maths period. Later Mdm Jamilah came and asked for some people. They were late so their attendance wasn't marked. But she didn't ask for me, so maybe she already marked my attendance :O Band practice today. Assembly ended at 2pm so I went to eat lunch then do a bit of homework for a few minutes then went to the room. The store room so cramp. Tuba cases blocking the cupboards. I set up my trombone and took Total Training, not the file photocopied one, the pages put together with a blue transparency in front one. Darryl and Cheng Heng came :) Rebekah took attendance. She said she'll call the section then we tell her who's present in the section. But when she said this, Darryl was in the store room. So when she called "Trombone", Darryl just stared at her without saying anything, haha. That time Cheng Heng came already but in the store room. Don't know whether she marked him or not. But in the end his attendance should be marked la. Then we did warm ups. Germaine conducted?!?! The way she said "instruments up" is like... so different, first day at band also will know she doesn't usually do it. Never do Chromatic Low Tones, only Total Training. During Total Training, Mr Yeo came. After that, we played Kokomo I think. Anyway there's a part we the trombones have melody, together with eupho and Mr Yeo asked us to go out and practise for 5min. Before that he also sent some sections to go out for 5min. Taufiq wanted us to practise together, haiy...'sian'. I'm tired of practising with them. Then we went back in after more than 5min. Mr Yeo asked both sections to play that part then he counted 1 2 3 4. We're supposed to come in on the n after 4 but nobody did, and only Darryl came in on 1 after the 4. He came in only a quaver, then Mr Yeo went "aiyo" haha. There's once Cheng Heng raised his hand but Mr Yeo didn't see, busy singing the trumpet part while looking at his conductor score. In the end I found he wanted to get slide oil. So he did in the end. Mr Yeo was talking about Sec 1s. He said those who just finished Sec 1 would know how it's like when we just joined junior band. Then he started 'suan-ing' (insulting) people, starting with Larry. He play sound like cow. Then Andrew, Xue Qi and Xuan Lin. Then he look at me and say what another cow. See the seniors play then moo moo moo (while changing position but he sang the same note) eh where to put the hand ah? What crap, since when I don't know my positions. And how to have the same note when playing different positions, exaggerate also at least have to make sense right? Darryl still can laugh. Not sure if Cheng Heng did, probably did la. He suan them I not only never laugh, I also very annoyed. Then he suan me wrongly and they can laugh -.- Not funny la. I tried to smile to make it seem like I found it funny too, but just couldn't. Today I'm so lonely, nobody talk to me. Only near the end of practice then Darryl talk a bit. I was emptying saliva before we started on Sesame Street where we have to share score then he ask if I can see, only. When practice gonna end then he suddenly asked me "How long is your hand ah?" I simply shrugged then he said "Stretch out" so I did and he stretch out his hand beside mine. Then he said "Ok la, quite long. Ok I'm short." Haha! Then Cheng Heng said "Wait, again again." So again. Then he look at the shoulders to see whether the starting point is the same then Darryl said "Parallax error la" Haha, Darryl's hand longer than mine of course. We kept our things first then went out again. That Andrew, shoes too big or got problem walking, go kick my section's saliva bowl then say he never kick. Then I tell Yihui her junior spilled it she say "Then you clean la" What crap, assholes. He spill then I clean for what?! Asshole. When I came out after keeping my things the mess was still there. So I cleaned it la -.- Then James or who say Darryl irresponsible senior. He say Andrew should be the one cleaning it, then I turned around and said "He don't want to clean what!" Damn irritated. Darryl actually asked me to leave the tissue there, but since there was a dustbin there I threw it away. The saliva soaked through the tissue and I touched it, eeeee. Then I said "It's our own saliva right?" It's our saliva so never mind. Then after that went home.

First day of school 2009
♫♪I love NAS, Concert Band, Trombones and my seniors!!♪♫Yesterday was me & Darryl's "birthday", haha! I don't think anybody will know what it's about except us. Maybe he himself has forgotten already. And yesterday was New Year's day too. Today's the first day of school. I went to the hall. Behind the Sec 1s & Sec 2s rows was crowded and couldn't get to my class, so I went by the back, which is the upper Sec area. When I was going to my class, I saw Samuel! :D He wear long pants already! Samuel, you're looking cool man! ;) My class is very near to his class. And, I'm in 2R6 now! Not that I like my class, it's that Kevin was from here too. 2Rawr6! :D That's what his class called themselves. Darryl is in 4R1 now! :D I didn't see him. And Kevin, I don't know what class he's in, I didn't see him too. I wonder how long his long pants are, haha! His shorts are already so long. They're tailor-made. Anyway, the teachers talk until 9+ then we went back to class. 2R6 is on the 3rd floor. The classroom was very very dirty, I sneezed. We have new tables! Half black, half white, both trapezium shaped. My place is in a position that when I sit down, my back will be facing the white board -.- There were no chairs left so I had to sit there. Some tables have 4 people, some have 5, like mine. Our form teacher is Mdm Jamilah. Mr Lim (last year's form teacher) is the co-form teacher. He won't be here for long, he's leaving for further studies. Then 10am was recess. The new canteen is nice. There is an area with no chairs for people to stand and eat, but there are tables. It's for people who want to eat and quickly go off. I asked Wen Ling to help me buy food. Actually I could have bought it myself, but I didn't feel like it. The price writes $1.20. I gave her $5 and those people gave her back $3.40 -.- Money face. It's only 40 cents, they are that pathetic. I don't use vulgarities on my blog (except for once) but if I'm really pissed I will. (But I don't use the whole word) The bookshop walls are glass, and so is the door of course. It's got air-con like shopping mall bookshops as Mr Lim (principal) said. After recess was HE - chapter 5 - food spoilage. Our teacher was relief teacher last year :O I have to change my holiday homework -.- Not my problem ok! We played a game. We have groups of 4. 2 rounds. Each round a pair from each group goes up. One gives the other clues so that the other can a word. It's called the pyramid game but it's like taboo, just that Ms Nor said we can use hand gestures and sounds. We choose a colour of pyramid and it'll reveal the category. All categories are under food spoilage. We didn't wanna think of a group name so we asked her to decide for us. The first group she called Daisy, so she called us Rose. The rest chose their own. First round Wen Ling described and Swee Kee guessed. They guessed 3/8 correct but Ms Nor wrote 2 only -.- 2nd round they wanted me to go but I didn't wanna go because I couldn't absorb when I was reading just now. So actually it was supposed to be Hui Xin describing and Swee Kee guessing. But Ms Nor said it must be a different pair. So I described and Hui Xin guessed. We got 6/8, cool right? Ms Nor said the silent one emerges, haha! 12.30pm dismissal. Went home, ate lunch, slept. Woken up by Monfort School in front of my house. Person supposedly with a loudhailer and people playing some game supposedly where there's one more person than the number of chairs and when the music stops the one without a chair is out, with Barney song -.- I didn't look but I supposed from what I could hear. Did HE homework and changed my homework so that it looks more like a brochure. Everyone folded horizontally, I didn't fold, so now I fold it vertically. When I made it I typed into 2 columns because I've never seen a brochure with a horizontal fold -.- I don't care what they do, mine is vertical and it is! I like long, not fat.
