Hello! I got an iPhone today, black one. Actually I like white more, but I don't know how the white looks. I saw other touch phones the white not nice so I took black. And need phone cover also, because it's very fragile. Later at lunch, there was a chicken wing and a slice of pizza on my plate. I was cutting the chicken when I accidentally pushed off the slice of pizza and it landed on the floor "face down" HAHA! Very funny... Hee. Bye bye :)

Yo! It's 3am+ and I'm here, first time ah? Europe's 7h behind Singapore and since I came back, I've had jet lag. 18 Dec reach home, slept at 4am, woke up at 3pm on 19 Dec. Yesterday (19) slept at 6.30am (?!) and woke up today at 3.30pm. At midnight I was studying Maths. Then went to watch TV, eat cup noodles (dinner) at 12.30am. 1am watching TV and also reading newspaper until 2.45am. Do Maths again, this time in the hall cos everyone's sleeping and I don't sleep in my own room. Just came here to write about this rare experience I've never had, haha. Bye bye :)

Band from 8-12, or 8-12.45 rather -.- Ding Cong's back from Australia. Kevin came late, just a little bit, oh... Anyway, for warm ups, we also played E flat major scale today. When we're playing A flat, I heard someone play A natural. I look at DC beside me, but it's correct, so must be Benjamin. (I have no idea why DC is beside me today) Then Mr Yeo suddenly stop the whole band and ask "Trombones, what is the fourth note?" He was looking at the juniors so I didn't say anything. Then Kevin say A flat. Mr Yeo still looking at the juniors and asking, then DC said A flat, but he wants the answer from Benjamin. Aiya, whatever DC say he just follow only. Then when he ask the position, DC say 3. Then he ask Benjamin, he also say 3. I think he doesn't even know it's 3 -.- Then Mr Yeo started scolding him, say he's playing it so confidently and he (mr Yeo) can hear it so obviously. Then he said "You must be able to hear..." You mean he can't hear the difference? Even I can hear, he himself cannot? OMG... Tsk -.- Then E flat major scale in thirds. We don't have that in Great Band Workout, only got B flat major scale in thirds. But they want us to figure out the notes ourselves. Yay! I managed. But we stop before finishing and went by section. Hoho, they all stop then left me, but I stopped at high E flat. They (conductors) ask "Why you stop?!" Because I cannot reach high F. So, again and this time they also stop, and I play the whole thing then Kevin join in the last 3 notes, haha. YAY!

Then Procession To Peace, run through once only. Then Symphonium. Why ah? Really why? The rhythm is not that hard ok. We split into brasses and woodwinds. There's no tenor sax so 3rd trombone must play. Then when they're gonna play bar 13, Mr Yu say trombone have nothing to play. He didn't notice. Then Kevin ask me to just tell them to play, so I told them, and they don't want to play. Say what Mr Yu say not to play. Mr Yu already make so many mistakes, he conduct wrongly a few times already... The juniors really... just follow blindly eh. Finally I raised my hand and said "No tenor sax they must play!" then he realised. Hoho, then I realised Kevin also must play, Serene 1st also sax is not here, but I don't need cos there's Chen Hua 2nd alto, haha. Then we went for sectionals. Kevin actually say want to play from the start until bar 29. But they keep messing up (or maybe it's just Benjamin) then he stop and correct them. After a while, I suggested him teaching them the whole thing first. Then he go teach. Then I asked why not let them learn it themselves first then teach, they haven't even learnt it themselves yet. But, he refused to listen and go teach them. So I practise on my own, even the parts that I don't need to play. (If Chen Hua not here then I play what, so practise la) And when we went back in, Kevin "I haven't practice yet!" I told you so, it's always like that. Eh seriously la, who the heck teaches like that?! If he teaches like that, Benjamin's sight reading is gonna suck forever, and his playing too. You understand what I mean? It was already 12 when we went back in. We're gonna have 2 competitions next year. Most Sec 3s agreed to stay to help, including Kevin:) Must go talk to him and Benjamin someday. It's getting on my nerves. DC's ok however, he's like me when I was Sec 1, just not as obedient, which can easily be fixed. Dismissed freaking late, bye bye.

Band! Again! 8-12. I saw Serene come out of her father's car at the gate and she passed me her Chinese textbooks and CME papers, as promised :) Thanks Serene! :D Wah, Kevin come at 8am. We warmed up and played Procession to Peace. There was a 30min break at 10.30, after which was sectionals. I got the Symphonium scores for my section from Chong Jin. I was holding Ding Cong's 3rd trombone score and walking to our cupboard to keep in his file for him. I was reading it then I bang my head on Kevin's cupboard door which he left COMPLETELY OPEN!!! Right in front of Germaine (back from Japan) and Serene -.- Serene was like "OH MY GOSH!" haha. He always doesn't close the doors, tsk. After the break, spilt into brass and woodwinds, brasses with Mr Yu as usual. It was I think the most boring brass sectionals. We mostly only played the chords from the beginning to bar 10, and played 2 or 3 times the music for that part. Hoho, Kevin "slept" and Mr Yu woke him up by calling him, haha. (We can't really sleep in band, it's just almost sleeping) ... Mr Yu guessed what he did last night, Facebook (I don't think he even has)? MSN? Online games? Bingo. Then I asked him, the last practice he overslept is it because he was playing games also? He said he was watching movie at chalet -.- Grrrr!!! DC's still in Australia and Kevin's sleeping, leaving me alone with Benjamin and so awkward during sectionals, and even the metronome run out of power, and he laughed.

Anyway, after sectionals, we combined and played the song. Then we played Symphonium! Kevin likes it :) But! We only played the first 9 bars, after that's rest. Even then, they only played till a few bars after 10. Then when Mr Yeo asked Section Leader or representative of each section to go up, Kevin went, and I told Jaslyn he looks like a stick, haha! It was Tequila. One 1st and one 2nd trombone original score. He asked me to share with Benjamin, but I want 1st trombone. At first... "I want 1st trombone!..." *Kevin gives a smug face and puts the 1st score on his stand, which is away from me since I'm on the left* "Ehhhh.....!" "Ok la, share" :D Hehehahaha! And also... Benjamin "What's this?" Me (without looking) "Tequila" "No, I mean this (points to repeat-previous-bar sign) "Oh, repeat..." We repeat the bar about... 14 times, I didn't take note the number, thought it's written on top. Then the 1st trombones mess up at the same part, haha! Oh ya, Ms Leong came! But a few seconds later she said she'll come another time, then bye bye and she left. ??? Mr Yu already replace her as Asst Conductor, but Mr Yeo once said she'll come bid farewell to us someday. After Tequila, Mr Yeo said he want to change some section things, so that when the seniors leave, we won't die. He said "You canot play 1st trombone because of the braces right?" I nod and said can, then he kept asking, can? Can? Can? Sure? Sure ah? many times, and I just keep nodding. Then he said Procession to Peace can or not? Then I didn't say anything cos this one's a lot of high notes. Instead Kevin said something. He put his hand on his file and said "I want the... (cannot hear, cos he's squeaking, really)!" I don't think he even said anything after that, but he put across the message clear. Haha! Then Mr Yeo said he doesn't need to change, it's between Benjamin and DC. :O What's that mean? Anyway, I'm already playing 1st trombone what -.- Bye bye!
