♫♪I'm a happy 2nd Trombone!!♪♫

Yo! Teachers' Day celebrations in school today! Last time the student councillor said starts at 7.30am so I woke up 15min earlier at 5.45 today but it started at 7.45am as usual. Performances until 9+. If I'm not wrong, everything was organised by the SCs, quite good :) Jam Band performed the first time, but it's not nice... The whole band (a few people only) wear long pants, the singer wear bermudas and he sang softer than the drums and guitars. He keep walking around the stage when they're all stationary and then his singing not good also. There's also choir who can't really be heard. They had to dance so the microphones can't be too near then cannot hear much. The last performance is the best. It's 3 guys;two guitarist and a singer, sang a song entirely composed by themselves about teachers for teachers :) There's "thank you" in the 4 languages! Nice melody and singing all that :) After that Sec 1 to Sec3 had sports games against teachers. Sec 3s had basketball, didn't see Kevin, haha! We were dismissed at 10.30am and some left while some stayed. I left. Then in the bus, Cai Yan called me twice. First time I heard something but didn't know it's my phone. 2nd time then realised but mt damn phone strap caused it to get stuck in my pocket cannot take out =.= So I rejected, then sms her and she call again. She wanted to give me cookies, but I already left! OMG, she came at 10.30 and we're dismissed at 10.30! -.- They only let them in at 10.30. Kevin also left school alr, she only found Darryl Kor Kor. She definitely caught me by surprise ah. First thing she asked is 你在哪里？So long never hear from her, then suddenly ask this, I'm like ??? SO SWEET OF HER! She came back for Teacher's Day but we also got cookie :') I MISS MY CAI YAN JIE JIE A LOT!!! Althought I haven't gotten the cookie yet, THANK YOU JIE JIE! JUNIOR LOVES YOU! :D :D

After lunch, I went to Tampines 1 and Tampines Mall with my grandparents to relief boredom. Bye! :)

♫♪I'm a happy 2nd Trombone!!♪♫

Hi! I just finished making the 16 paper stars for Darryl and putting in the bottle. Almost couldn't fit all in -.- Actually there's litle plastic stars the came with it, no space so I strung it up as outside decoration. Most of the time's spent with the stringing because actually there's already a string there, but only with 2 plastic stars. Then I changed the whole string with my own and put the other 10 on. There's also an empty scroll in it, but as I said, no space. Don't know where I'm going to use the scroll, if I even have anywhere to put it.

Tomorrow's instrument workshop at Anglo-Chinese School, Independent is CANCELLED! -.- Rebekah announced during morning assembly on Tuesday, so there's practice tomorrow. Why always like this?! Cancel this cancel that! Irritating! Bye.

Yo! Look how early I am today! :D Never been this early. I woke up earlier (and since school today starts at 8.45am) because I have to print something but yesterday my father using. I haven't printed, haha. The Chinese oral test on Monday was alright, better than I had expected :) There was only a word I didn't recognise in the passage so I read it as 个, although there were 2 条 in 一条狗 and 四条狗 but I accidentally read the first one as 只 and only realised when I read the second one right :( The conversation part topic is opinion on students having stress because they're unable to cope with homework. I mentioned quite eenough on that, then the teacher asked if there are other things that lead to stress. So I talked about BGR. I paused for quite long sometimes. Anyway, I think I've improved and it's thanks to dearest Kevin! :D He didn't teach me Chinese, but hearing him speak Chinese with his accent also helped me I think. By the way, it's not an accent where everything is mispronounced ok. It's a very nice accent :) And also, when he was teaching Darryl about Chinese oral, he took out a passage and said read slowly and pause between words because if we read fast then more likely to "lag" (slow down) then it'll affect the fluency. I overheard obviously, it was during practice earlier this year. And that's what I did :) But on Tuesday during the lame English presentation, my English also siunds more like Kevin's already! I got the accent! And it's not a good one, it's the foreigner type of accent, oh my gosh! My Chinese improved while my English deproved?! Cannot! Even though it's just talking... Bye :)

Yo! Have you missed me? :D Today's the last day of CA2 papers. There's no band practice today :( But there is tomorrow! :D Then it'll stop on Wednesday and Friday for oral exams and resume on Saturday again. That Saturday would be the instrumental workshop at Anglo-Chinese School Independent already. Anyway, I spent hours doing nothing today -.- Then I made Serene's birthday card! The nicest treble clef I ever drew is in it, haha! Her birthday's on 27 September Thursday. I think I'll buy her present tomorrow after band practice. A few birthdays coming up. After Serene's birthday is Germaine's on 5 September and Darryl Kor Kor's on 7 September! :D The strawberry milk in my fridge expires on that day, HAHA! Anyway, that's all. We'll be getting our orange coloured dry-fit (yuck) band tee-shirt soon, I think. I'm thinking of getting one with Kevin as Darryl's birthday present. Shh... bye!

HAPPY 44TH NATIONAL DAY SINAPORE! :D

Blogger is still spoilt -.- So I can't make the words big or red =.= I remember last year I saw the trombone in the band in NDP very cool. A lot of gimmicks, very big movement. It's like alternate people, one move the instrument down, one turn to the right. So that means the one bending down will have a slide above him. Looks dangerous, because if the one bending doesn't move in time, he will be whacked by the slide beside him in the chest or face, haha! And they move very fast also, very nice. This year don't have, or maybe have but I missed cos I went to bathe. But still, never really show the band, only when they leaving then show. Wah... Trombones in front eh! Really in front, just behind the Drum Majors (there's 2 cos there are 2 bands combined) only wor. Never seen before, I thought trombone, eupho, tuba always behind. All in front wor, cool, then everyone can see :D Ok, anyway, I think the marching lasted for more than an hour :O

Moving on to events in other parts of the world, the news reported there's a typhoon in Taiwan, a really nasty one. It's flooded Taiwan with 2.5m of rain! And buildings were ruined. If I'm not wrong, a hotel, which is Taiwan's oldest and most famous hot spring collapsed. I saw the footage of the collapse. It collapsed into water with a big splash and I thought it was beside the sea. But I figured that's probably the flood. Shows how much water there is, luckily the building was fully evacuated before that. I'M SO THANKFUL THAT SINGAPORE DOESN'T HAVE TYPHOONS AND MY SENIOR'S HERE IN SINGAPORE.

And digressing some more from my original topic, I love you people, all of you who have acess to my blog :) I love you all! :) I know I'm quiet and don't show my emotions often, maybe because most of the time I'm not having any particular emotion, but it doesn't mean I don't love you :) Probably because of that, people don't love me as much as I love them, for example my dearest Trombone Section maties. My most beloved group of people in Band, other than the 3 Sec 2 girls I'm always with ^_^ Let's see now... ooh, they're also my most beloved group of people in school! I don't have that many friends to have favourites anyway. So, ok, I'll be more smiley and unreserved and you be more friendly and nice ok? But take note, I'M ALREADY VERY NICE TO YOU AND NICER TO YOU THAN OTHER PEOPLE :) And love me more, love me as much as I love you! Bye!

National Day celebrations today. We wore our new class T-shirt :D We got it on Wednesday. Thanks Qian Hui, Swee Kee, Ding Cong (junior!), Janice, Jason, Larry (?!) and Zhi De for buying for me as a birthday present :) They're all not close to me so I don't know why it's them. I asked QH who paid and she listed them all, and when she said Ding Cong, inside I was like "Ding Cong?! Junior?!" Last time when I smsed her she said most probably will be the other 6 so I wasn't surprised when she told me on Wednesday, but she didn't mention DC... Anyway, it's $17.

When I reached the hall, the Percussionists were there already. I went to give Mavis her birthday card, haha! Then when I went back she sms me to thank me, haha :) Her birthday is on national day. No present though...

No band performance, not even national anthem, only got Percussion playing when he uniform groups march. After that there was performance. Then we went for FIESTA. Actually I'm in the production team (I didn't produce anything) but I was at our class stall the whole time until 10.30am when we wrap up. I saw Kevin and Darryl (after exactly 3 weeks) but they never patronise one :( Some more saw them twice ah.I didn't buy anything, because I didn't even leave the stall and I was hungry! I should have huh, I wasn't supposed to be there anyway. Nurlena gave me some cracker I think she got from our class game :D There was extra sweets from the game too. I finally left school at 11+. Hmmm... bye!
