Today was national day celebration, there was FIESTA as usual where the sec 2 classes make and sell stuff... Reminds me of my own that year :) I most wanted to support 2R4 and 2R5, all my favourite sec 2 juniors in those classes! But when I went there, Amanda told me their class had to stop selling although all the others could continue =.=" Not fair. I wanted to buy a lot of stuff from there, and design a cupcake for my 叶湘伦 too... :( (that's their class' service segment) Then when I went to 2R4 their donut balls were sold out =_= What happened to boyfriend Hui Shi reserving for me? -.- In the end I bought 2 things from 2R6's stall and 1 from a class I don't know...I think it's 2R3 but I 不爽 so I gave it to my grandfather at home. From 2R4...I got some $1 goodie bag from Carine (just to patronise) and actually I think that's the prize for the stall's games, but it's ok, I buy all these for charity see. (If not I wouldn't buy so many, I spent $7.20 by the way) Some of the stuff in the goodie bag went to my grandmother. The cupcakes bought from 2R6 (2 in a packet) goes to my parents, 1 each (though I would like to taste it too).

Chong Jin came back to NAS! :D So surprised when she smsed me. So she joined me walking around the canteen for a while, then we went to the hall to fold more paper hearts! ^_^ This year's record breaking is to fold 46 460 paper hearts, but we exceeded it... How many records does our school hold already?! Every year there's record breaking...

Anyway, today was quite fun... :) But I wish Sec 4s weren't the last to go for FIESTA so I could have gotten more things... I don't like spending money (cos I don't like money in the first place) but I do for charity & for my juniors ^_^

This week again, my feelings change so many times I don't know what to feel...

Thursday we went to Parliament house for learning journey. Cool, we saw the PM. And when we were leaving we saw Dai Yang Tian and his camera crew, don't know doing what. Anyway, not interested in him... If it was Jay Chou it would be a different story, haha...

Friday sectionals... Serene & Germaine came back! :D Omg haven't seen Serene for so long! I miss you Senior ^_^

Saturday band exchange programme at Fajar Sec! :D With Mr Yeo's other bands: Greenridge Symphonic Band & Dunearn Military Band, and Twinny's band Woodlands Ring & the sir's other band Teck Whye, and Han Wei's band Chestnut Drive and Changkat Changi (which is about our size).

So happy to see my Twinny again! :D And when I saw Han Wei I didn't know it was him at first, because I wasn't wearing specs and he also wasn't and had no more Jay Chou hair, haha! There was no break, so sad, because I wanted to look for the 2 of them to get a picture at least -.- I didn't go for SYF rehearsal then I don't know how to enter... -.- Not nice, my part. The others all very good :) After the exchange ended, I gave Twinny the chocolate and cards :D Then went to give Fajar Trombone Section the lollipops. They gave us a card for the Lower Brasses! Haha :D Thanks ^_^ And finally when we were leaving I managed to talk to Han Wei a bit :) I want to have an NCO Trombone Outing in June holidays or after O Levels! Twinny & I will organise one if no one does! I miss the section unity! :(

Oh and I didn't get sweets from anyone D: Not fair, Zijian gets sweets everyday, and his section got sweets also, but I don't have :( Then I very emo. Tsk, not fair never give me :( I don't even know what I'm emo for, that afternoon was just emo... I think band la, it's always band, isn't it? -.- Bastard. Anyway, I'm leaving soon.

♫♪I'm back to happy Bass Trombone!!♪♫

Hello :) This first week of school has been busy... =v= But I think it'll get worse, haha. Band practices as usual, and Friday had Sec 1 Orientation. I want the Sec 1s! :D I want to be in charge of them, and teach them marching and everything... I want them to be mine first before anyone else can "pollute" them as Taufiq says. It should be fun teaching them from basics. Last year no trombone junior, so I haven't taught basics for almost 2 years. Anyway, anyone in the right mind would know that I'd rather teach Sec 1s. A few more weeks and they'll come in, but I think I already know one junior who will be here: Chong Pin! I wish I could snatch him to trombone section, haha! I want a girl and a boy, 2 hardworking ones who will love trombone like I do :) It's hard to find people I get along with. Anyway, the CCA display was... not bad. But it's of course not good either. The individual instrument introduction I played the same thing as last year, Kevin & I took turns to play When The Saints Go Marching In :) Just that this year... no Kevin beside me! :( I miss Kevin :( And some people played the "solo" wrongly =v= I should have thought of playing Sorry Sorry and 菊花台. I should go learn more Jay Chou songs... My favourite ones (that's a lot!) We have 30+ interested but not all will join. Hope Chong Pin gets in, I should be able to get along with him :) I think he will get in. We played Rockin To The Rhymes and It's A Small World... I'm gonna take the Sec 1s like my life depends on it, because after all they're saving me. Enough about band, you must be getting bored. Let's read about class now, which I rarely write on.

I'm still the EL rep of 4R1 even though I said before I don't want to continue. But no one volunteered, and I don't actually mind doing it for my
4R1 so I agreed to continue. But my assistant changed. Haha, they wanted Cui Yi but Ms Deepa chose Brandon's index number, which is just 1 away from CY. Well, he's not bad, started collecting money for TYS quite fast :) (But he started fast, I collected fast. Ah... haha!) There was also a Bio test, which I studied for very last minute. But well, I suppose it's better than last year's SA2 because they didn't test a lot on things I didn't study... I hope I answer correctly la...

Chinese class, we are grouped according to last year's scores, and we are mixed 3 classes. I'm in 1A! 1A's target for O Levels is A1! ^_^ But I think they're being a bit ridiculous. Some people here get 50+ and the target is A1? The range is quite big...wonder if anyone got 70+, I only got it in early Sec 3... And 1B is aiming for A1 when they're the ones that fail? So you can roughly gauge the standard of 1C which is aiming for B3? The grouping is better than Sec 3 of course, but... it doesn't make sense to me la... There should be more than 3 classes if possible... Anyway, it's still an honour to be in 4-1A and 4R1 ^_^ This year, I'm going to study more. See you :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! :D To Band, I wish you the motivation to get me my Gold award for SYF! It's OURS! I wanted to wish something more but I realised that's the only thing you need... To my lovely 4R1-ers! I wish us the courage to face setbacks and push forward! I wish us a fun and fulfilling last year together, and all the best results in the whole school! Let's continue this stereotype and show everyone that 4R1 IS the BEST CLASS! To my dear seniors, my pillars of strength, I wish you all the strength to stay happy and persevere through the toughest times with a vision of the best future. This is what you gave me :) I hope that you all will be strong to protect yourselves because you are grown up already, moving on or in the real world already! I ♥ you everybody :) I hope we will be friends next year :) 我一直都没变，还在每天许愿 ☆

The FIRST person to wish me Happy New Year (without me wishing first) is... Surprise! KEVIN! :D I wished Nurlena, Mavis, Suky, Stacia first :) Kevin seems different from last time... in a good way ^_^ Oops! Clarification: I don't like Kevin (in a BGR way). Stacia, does this line look familiar? Haha! Oi must tag ah, if not the da jiejie will spam you! :D She thought I like him... =v= Not her fault though, that's why I'm clarifying! I was watching MBC Gayo Daejun online, Super Junior sang Sorry Sorry (my favourite song by them!) and Bonamana! :D Their performance was about 12.40am so I had to wait so long... Now I can go to sleep! Suky! Read the previous post last paragraph! For you! ^_^

♫♪I'm back to happy Bass Trombone!!♪♫

Hi, I'm back from Hong Kong Winter Band Festival 2010! We were scheduled to touch down in SG at midnight but the flight got delayed 5h and only took off at 1am this morning so I reached at 4.25am and slept at almost 7am when I was starting to see daylight already. I woke up at 3pm...

First day when we reached HK we went to Victoria Harbour and Victoria Peak! Took pictures with some people at airport and those places ^_^ But for this trip, I'm mostly with Jaslyn, yucks! Haha, just joking, we sat in the plane together and shared the room (with Sandy) :)
Oh the plane trip there was funny. We were in row 61 but we walk to the end of the whole plane and saw it ended at 60, then we were like, 61??? The whole plane ends here, there's no cabin behind already! Then we saw Dion and Kwot Sin at row 61, only has 4 seats in the middle, no 2 columns at the side, haha, no wonder can't find...

2nd day was Disneyland day! :) We went to Repulse Bay & Stanley Market first. Repulse Bay had lots of Buddha statues of all kinds. The market was boring for me. Aisyah got scared by a lot of dogs there :s They're pets of course, some people had multiple dogs! After lunch we went to Disneyland for about 6.5 hours. I actually didn't want because I don't like theme parks, but it's nice and quite fun :) I was with XQ and Jas. We can't take group picture because only 3 of us, so 2 by 2 only :( Both my camera batteries died today. I changed to 2nd battery in Disneyland, but it finished too in Disneyland -.- Today's parade saw the first SG band to play in the parade, Fajar Sec! Their trombones are cool... We saw the amazing fireworks at 8pm, like the one they play before every Disney show on tv! Pretty! :D Look like stars! ^_^ Late dinner... Today I am super pissed off because yesterday we were supposed to go to Avenue of Stars but they shifted it to today, and today when I asked the teacher, she said it's cancelled. And she didn't even say so till I asked. WTF, she said she asked some people and most preferred the night market. She didn't even ask me, and neither did I hear her ask anyone. What rubbish, cancelling part of the itinerary when it's fixed already. After I went back to the hotel I was still fuming over the phone.
Friday was competition day. In the morning when we gathered at the hotel lobby I didn't even recognise NAS Band all in black! I saw my junior and got shocked because I never saw him look so clever, haha. We went to Disneyland Hotel for breakfast. Then went next door to the Cinderella Ballroom for sound check. After which we traveled a bit to Inspiration Lake. Got a lecture and then practiced there, then lunch. Then we went back to our hotel to change and do singing practice on the top floor. Damn scary, we were singing the end of High School Musical then we heard a super loud "BANG!" and the whole glass panel in front of us (not right in front though) shattered but didn't break. Scary... the glass panel is from the floor to the ceiling, very big, and it's totally shattered, you can see the cracks in it, as if it got shot, like what you see in HK dramas. Anyway, no one was hurt, luckily, and we finished our singing practice and headed for Disneyland hotel again. Something very funny happened. Yuan Ching Concert Band was waiting to enter the Cinderella Ballroom for their competition and we were waiting also there to tune and play a bit in the Sleeping Beauty room. Then when we entered my junior walked past their conductor and she went "Oh! This guy's so handsome!" Then her whole band laughed, and I wanted to LOL but cannot because later cannot play properly if I'm laughing. Haha...! After tuning we performed and then went for dinner. Today, the Avenue of Stars is back on again! Yeah! :D And so is the night market... but that's not important. I thought I would see Jay Chou's handprint there, but don't have. And, the one with wax figues is at Victoria peak shopping centre which we went to on day 1. Can only see Bruce Lee's wax figure because it's outside but others are inside which have to pay :( At Avenue of Stars we saw the Symphony of Lights there :) Then went to night market in groups that the teachers decided. I was with trombone & sax section. It's quite awkward being with my section although it's MY juniors.. ._. especially the "handsome" one, but I don't know why, it's just like that, haha.

4th day Saturday is our Disneyland performance day! So we're back in Disneyland and after performance we can stay there for a while to play. I watched the bands after us. Yishun JC played Procession to Peace too! But their 2 trombones is a little weird, they neither used position 6 nor 1 with trigger, and it looks like they're faking because they didn't go past position 4. But they're together so it's not quite possible they fake together, but there's still possibility. It just doesn't look like they're playing the melody in rhythm... they played a 2nd song, Super Junior's Sorry Sorry and Lady Gaga's Bad Romance, nice! :) I saw the parade again today, but no more Fajar Symphonic band, they used Disneyland band. But Fajar's trombones were nicer... At about 5pm we gathered to watch the Lion King performance, got Can You Feel The Love Tonight and Circle of Life, haha. Then we watched Disneyland band perform :) Then we went to the Cinderella Ballroom for the gala dinner. I went with Sandy, Mr Yeo and teacher on stage to get the award... There was guest appearance by Mickey and Minnie! :D We all took section photo with them ^_^

Sunday's our last day in HK. We went to the HK Museum of History. Then we had a band workshop, whole band together. Then lunch at McD YUCKS! -.- I'm eating burger for the first time in about a year, disgusting. We had a bit of shopping after that and went to the airport already. No dinner, our plane was scheduled to leave at 8pm but, the toilet has no water so we got delayed for 5h till 1am this morning! I only slept at almost 7am when the sun was coming out... What a fruitful trip, with happy moments, pissed off times and times when I'm just bored and missing people.

Hi! This happens to be my 345th post. Today there's band practice. Oh and I got birthday wishes from 10+ people! Today is also my birthday :) I'm super touched by some people! ^_^ The first person to wish me today is SARAH HO! ^_^ At 8+ she sms me asking me to meet her, but we were having warm ups, and she had to wait outside the band room till almost 9am! :s Thanks for your pretty hand-made card and the present! :D And sorry for making you wait... I love cards that people make ^_^ 2nd to wish me was Wen Ling, had my birthday on her phone calendar :) Then, Cai Yan! Calendar also, haha, both were surprises for me :) After that was Mavis' wish, wrote it in her pink book, haha ^_^

For practice today (all these wishes happened during practice, so I replied during practice also, haha, exception ok?) we ran through all the songs we're playing in HK. Mr Yeo timed also, because we have 30min limit on performance. But we took 13min only :O At 12pm Chen Hua sms all the way from China! :D But my phone was outside while I kept instrument, so replied late... And in the store room, my 2 DMs Hazirah & Sandy screamed at me, happy birthday of course, super loud, haha! Then I had Aisyah too (because I told her about her senior's sms from China :P). Then I went home, then lunch, then I just reached home when Darryl smsed! So surprised! :D Then Chong Jin ^_^ Then Twinny Rebecca! :D Then this one is totally surprise, Mdm Yanti, haha! Later, on msn also had Regine :)

Hoohoo... some of my favourite people forgot/are unaware :(

Just now I had cake with my family. This year, my cake has words on it! I have "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TROMBONIST" on strawberry shortcake :) My grandma got me a shirt, my parents got me a heart bracelet :) Grandma got me a card too, although it's pink it's still nice, haha! Sarah's card is yellow with gold and silver, all my favourite colours, haha! :D

♫♪I'm back to happy Bass Trombone!!♪♫

Hi! Today was Student Learning Festival aka NAS Open House! I'm the only one who wore band uniform... look like China girl! ^_^ But with blazer not anymore. Actually we're supposed to have 2 shifts and I'm supposed to perform because my shift is 9-11am and the performance is 12pm. But Mr Yeo said the 2nd shift some people need to perform if not no melody -.- So, Mr Yeo arranged for me, Qing Ying and Jasmine to stay at the booth for the whole day = no performance for us :( We brought some percussion instruments down for visitors to play...

The band performed before 12pm actually. And we're supposed to perform in the amphitheatre, but it was raining! So we performed at the corridor of the open space amphitheatre instead. I mean, they performed, not we. But, it was raining!!! So hardly any audience. I asked Jasmine and QY to record for me and it looks like the conductors are getting wet. Jasmine said there was thunder, which I heard halfway through the performance video. Poor thing! :( My Band so 委屈... Why do they still have to perform when it's raining there?! Can't they do it elsewhere?! Grrr... Don't let me find out who told us to perform beside the rain.

They were dismissed at 1pm but we stayed till 2pm -.- I shouldn't have brought my trombone down. 委屈了你，对不起. Every time I show off my trombone, whether it's Baby or Taiwan, Liam will say "Your precious trombone..." haha. It's not the first time I show off my trombones to him. Oh but today got to show off to Zames and Jing Wei too! ^_^ I love you Trombone! ^_^ Chong Jin, Filzah and Mavis came back! :D Where's my favourite senior? :( Today was quite boring...but I got a helium balloon! :D Haven't touched one for years.

♫♪I'm back to happy Bass Trombone!!♪♫

Hi hi! :) I'm back from the 36th NCO Band Camp! :D 5 days... tiring but super FUN! I've never laughed so much in 5 days and never eaten so many times in 5 days before, haha! The laughter is thanks to my NCO Trombone Section 2010! We're the most hyper section in the NCO Band! They always say funny things then start laughing like crazy, haha, they're a fun bunch :) During lectures in the auditorium (that's 1/3 the size of the one in school) and even combined practice with Mr Kajiyama (conductor of Aichi Meiden High School, Japan) they also so active, haha. The guys definitely eat a lot also. And of course, I met my twinny there! We had an exchange with 5 other bands on Valentines' Day last year. After that I found WRS band blog and saw that there's a Rebecca trombonist who was ABM. Now we're both BM and my twinny is also a small girl who eats slowly ^_^ We had 16 trombonist, even more than trumpets. They said this year has a lot of trombones, yeah! Trombones rock! Of course I have a BM friend from Percussion too, China girl :) I met her on the bus to the pre-camp briefing :D

The Passing Out Parade yesterday was totally cool! We rock! It's the best camp I ever had. The kind of feeling you have when you finish a song and the audience scream, and you stand there basking in the glory and pride with our instruments held high... Incomparable to anything I've ever experienced! :)

Today still had band practice and marching in the morning. Wake up early again... Tired eh... Hazirah taught NAS band what she learnt! :) During combined practice, this band sings so softly... At NCO when Mr Kajiyama told us to sing, wow, a full sound. The playing also is so soft! I start missing NCO Band already, so early in the morning... But I'm back to my beloved NAS Band now :) Today time seems to fly. Nearing 12pm I didn't even feel like practice was ending... Oh ya, my Baby (trombone) is at home ^_^ I'll keep Baby here for now, because I'm using Taiwan anyway ^_^ Now I can practice at home with my favourite trombone! One of my favourite la... :D

As the header says, I'm back to happy Bass Trombone from happy 1st Trombone :') It was yesterday...

Friday, we watched a movie and did a "test" which was more like reflections, after FIESTA. We had about an hour for FIESTA! I spent it with Sarah walking around and talking :) I support Jasmine by buying 麦芽糖 from her! ^_^ Haha! The apple slices came with some sweet sauce then Sarah ask for one without the sauce -.- And 2R3's stall name is Sticky Corner, haha! :P
*We know we are so close, so close, and still so far*

I hate people late and wasting time, especially everyone's time. I taught my juniors sectionals for a while. I hate my sound, I hate braces. I love Band, I love Trombones. I wish I could play with my juniors, but I suppose it's better for them if I don't. I asked to go back to Bass Trombone, for them, the Band. Benjamin agreed to take 1st Trombone. What about for me?

Saturday, marching. I hate people late. I love marching. I hate the way they march. I love Band. Today was the switch back to Bass Trombone.... Feelings can't always be put into words, if not we wouldn't have feelings. Today we only played 2 songs, Can You Feel The Love Tonight and Highlights from High School Musical. I've forgotten the feeling of playing Bass Trombone, the loose embouchure, the round solid sound... The notes seem to be better for me, but I'll have to wait until I play more to see how much more and better I can play. Benjamin seems to have some problem with the 6.5 mouthpiece. He says he can reach the high notes better with the size 1 mouthpiece, interesting, haha. I've got a feeling you'll play well Ben, even if your rhythm is not perfect :)

♫♪I'm a happy 1st Trombone!!♪♫

Yesterday was Music In The City performance. In the morning I came to school and saw the person that I asked to borrow a tie from, but I didn't even remember until he came and passed me the tie, haha! Then later in class during recess, I tried to tie the tie (because I've always been using the old tie). It's so long! I tried for the entire recess, and even after recess. Finally during Chinese class I managed to make it the right length. Yixuan told me to just make the back longer then fold it up, haha. I think I spent 40min doing it, so I didn't want to take it off and wore it throughout Chinese lesson for 1.5 hours, haha! Anyway it's nice, there's silver :) but my favourite colour is gold. After Chinese class then I took it out cos had to go to lab for bio. After school, lunch at the canteen. Released late cos Ms Farah came in after the last lesson and gave us back a paper to file in. So after I filed I rushed to canteen and rushed to eat. Just when I was gonna go toilet, Mr LY and LY came! So I quickly went and rushed up to band room. We practised a bit from 3pm. Mr Yeo's not happy, but I know why. At 3+ some Sec 4s were outside the door watching us. I saw Kevin from the side of my eyes. I wouldn't be wrong because he's the only one that long, haha. 3.40pm we started shifting our things down cos we're supposed to leave school at 4pm. In the end we left at 4+ and the bus is not big enough for me to sit alone with my trombone, stand and file, so had to cramp -.-

When we reached there, it was like going back in time. We dropped off at the same place as last year, then crossed the road and walk along the shopping centre to our performance area. Today the band is damn pissing off, as usual when there is a performance because that's when you see them worse than they already are. They put their instruments at 2 places firstly, and the 2nd group of people put their instruments in the middle of nowhere. Then some person came and put his hand on a tuba and got his friend to take a picture -.- After I told Mrs Tan and she told him he's still acting like he has no face. And also, I hate it when people kick instruments, it's not like their blind. Well I think blind people are actually less likely to do that. Only shows how #$%^&*( the band is. And more than once ok. If you every hear or see me using obscenity, you should know what it's for because I don't use them like English. There are some things that I seriously hate to the core. As if treating my dear trombones like trash isn't enough, some #$%^&* still don't have the responsibility to put it back properly or even apologise which is obviously what they should do... Piss me off only $%^&*( sick of their shit attitude and behaviour, sick of their lousiness. They sound like shit. They should seriously just get out of here, not like they even play nicely.

Anyway, I think the organisation also sucks because Mr Yeo wanted to do something different from the schedule but since that's not part of the schedule, the teacher says we can't and also don't know what to do. So I as Band Major am supposed to know? We had dinner and apple juice before the rehearsal which was yucky. Then after that the actual performance we were 2nd, after Guzheng. I think it's just a disgrace to be there wearing uniform, tie and making noise. There were 5 CCAs. Jonathan was there, I asked him after that. He said it's not bad... wait NOT bad?! It's obviously yuck but saying it's not bad is a lie right? To me. Anyway, what a sucky day. Would have been better if I just went to school and went home. Instead of seeing @#$%^&*( knocking my 心肝宝贝 trombones -.- Damn it, I'm so damn sick of them.

Yo, to all Singaporeans and foreigners, HAPPY 45TH SINGAPORE NATIONAL DAY! :D You know on Okto channel the advertisement shows people saying "I love (something) I love Singapore"? Don't be sad, because in 1 month 23 days time it's China Independence Day! It's also Children's Day by the way...

♫♪I'm a happy 1st Trombone!!♪♫

Yo! Yesterday had national day celebration in school. Actually, there was no celebration in our school, more like in Ngee Ann Primary, because we left school to go there. The people from NATAS Singapore Women's Everest team were still talking then our class had to leave -.- 3 classes from NAS went to NAP, 3R1, 2R1 and 1C1. When we went there, Qian Hui, Appu and Shao Hong gave them a talk about the meaning of the national flag and had a quiz after that. Sarah's so nice! She wanted to buy 43 milos but of course can't carry that much so she bought 24 packets for us, but we used some for the prize for the NAPians (is that what they're called since we're called NASians?) After their talk ended, we gave them the postcards to write their wishes on. 3R1 took Pri 5 & 6, 2R1 took pri 3 & 4, 1C1 took pri 1 & 2. 2 or 3 people will take one class, I happened to be beside Sarah so we took 5/4. Then later they told us they're not called 5/1, 5/2, they're called 5 Honesty, 5 Love all that. 5/4 was 5 Love :)

We are trying to set a new record of 15 000 postcards with national day wishes, or most number of postcards with national day wishes. Our school likes setting interesting records. If I'm not wrong, in 2007 a year before I came in, they made the biggest national flag out of balloons and Straits Times came. I saw it on youtube also, which means it was on TV I suppose. They also said Straits Times would come but since we're not in school, I don't know. We gave out the postcards to them, but it was super messy because they're all in the hall -.- And some took Sarah's pens but didn't return. And! The worst thing is that they wrote on the back of the postcard when it's supposed to be in front :O Collecting back the postcards was also messy. Gee, I was expecting them to be in a classroom... Mr Chee went to the stage to announce (probably couldn't stand it anymore, haha) that we go to the front of the class to collect. Actually we were supposed to give them another one as souvenirs but we gave to Mrs Pong because it was too messy then. I think they passed to the school to give. So NAP's organisation sucks too...

Then we went back to NAS and were dismissed straight away.

♫♪I'm a happy 1st Trombone!!♪♫

Hello! Tuesday 20 July no practice because of O Level Chinese listening comprehension and Sec 3 higher CL one cos they taking the normal CL O level, so we were unable to celebrate our dear Mr LY and Mr LY's birthdays! Mr Yeo's is 19 July Monday, Mr Yu's is 23 July yesterday. I only SMSed the 2 of them on their birthdays. Friday was sectionals, no conductors as usual, so a lot of them came late, even though most came about 10min late, but late's still late. Those who came even later include COMMITTEE members! -.- We warmed up for a while and then went to sectionals in the 2 idiotically small rooms. I didn't go there at all because I was in charge of them making birthday cards. After school I waited for Mavis to finish her HCL lesson then went bookshop to buy 2 big cards (what material??) and small cards. We want to get everyone to write a small card and paste on the big one according to section. Took about 30min to buy the stuff, haha. It's hard to decide when we don't have a draft, but it's impossible to have a draft right? So we bought bright red and off-white huge cards and a box of small cards. During sectionals, I actually wanted section by section to come up and write 2 cards each but somehow the committee came for some games day meeting, what the shit. They even said they wanted it on Saturday despite Mdm Yanti objecting as the conductors are paid to come on Saturdays. Omg... seriously is this my committee? Then after that more than one section came up because apparently the some of my comm members told them to come when I didn't -.- haha.

Some of them come and slack sia... what the heck, damn irritated with them. They like to deprive people ah, deprive conductors of their work, deprive me of MY sectionals time. I couldn't go sectionals cos I had to be up there, but at least can self practice right -.- Come to think of it, all 3 majors were up here, but for what sia?! I bet the band slacked :( ... Useless. I can't believe my committee, seriously. After band practice, Mavis (came at 5 after lesson), Jaslyn & Xue Qi stayed back till 7+ to make the cards! We had to substitute empty cards so that we have space for Sec 1s' cards. The organisation of where and how to arrange the smal cards was hard! The red one was for Mr Yu with white words. I think it's like a HK flag cos the background's red and the inside's white, haha. Mr Yeo's is white with red words, opposite and more like Singapore flag. I think this part's very cool! :D Mr Yu's card is nicer, but not because I was biased! Just happened to be.

Today, band again. Marching in the morning. We brought the cards and materials for the sec 1s to make. Again, Jaslyn & Xue Qi stayed to help me while the rest do marching. Some irresponsible people came very late. Some asshole is being very extra in band and loves scolding vulgarities and scolding people's mother behind their back after irritated them and making them pissed off. What's his problem, scold people's mother for nothing. F*** that damn Yu Bin, go die la, you're an insult to your mother. You got mother people don't have ah, what if I go scold your mother after being an asshole to you, idiot. Act damn extra, show off on every single rubbish thing as if you're so great. You ADHD go f off la, ass. Want people to notice your stupidity and rubbish for what, as if you're worth noticing. Totally have no pride yet act so proud, there's nothing even to be proud of, as if you play music nicely, it's like shit ok, worse than shit. Your skills suck more than anyone I've ever seen, still so thick-skinned go around playing so damn fking loudly and irritate people. No one wanna hear you bullshit so f off. Just spoiling your country's reputation and making people think that your countrymen are like that. The most shameless person you can ever find in the band. Fker.

After marching they went upstairs and warmed up and tuned till Mr Yu came. Mr Yeo said he wouldn't be coming today :( Shucks, the birthday... We did a lot of the Great Band Workout warm up today with Sec 1s, then we played the new songs Rocking to the Rhymes and part of Nobody. We have 3 songs actually. After practice ended, we delayed the celebration a while cos there was no knife with the cake! Mavis went to buy. I stalled for time with the band whenever Mr Yu wanted to dismiss them cos he wants to see comm. Haha, twice, very strange. First time attendance, luckily 2nd time can tell them about band blog, haha. Then I went out to see and yay! Got knife alr. I think I very strange today, I open the door and go "Mr Yu! We got something for you!" Haha, crazy. Gabriel and Mavis brought the cake and we sang a birthday song (English) and I gave the huge pretty card :) Mr Yu sick, couldn't eat the cake... :( After giving out the cake, he had comm meeting to talk about band uniform and t shirt. I didn't even know they said they wanted white blazer, wth! Since when, and why white? Last year just changed uniform -.- Ok that's it, bye :)

This whole week I had no time to do my homework!!! 12 July Monday, I made CY's birthday card for 3 hours after coming back from dental appointment which is so far from my house. Actually not 3 hours straight, I did 1.5h then went to have dinner and continued another 1.5 hours, haha. 13 July Tuesday there was band practice, then when I came home I folded 16 stars for CY in a bottle. I made 16 then after putting into the bottle I found one pink one, then I counted in the bottle but it's hard to count. I remembered making 2 of that colour but only saw 1 so I figured there was only 15 so I put it in. Then 14 July Wednesday had rehearsal for Tapestry 4 with other CCAs. Band is damn irresponsible, just ditch their instruments and ALL go in to watch dance perform. Only Mavis stayed with me to look after those instruments. It's not the Band Major's job to look after the instruments that you dump there ok. If it's my job, then it's all the majors job too. Freaking irritated. I told them to bring it with them already, dumb or what. That's the most irresponsible thing a band member can do other than slack. You can conclude this is the most irresponsible band ever. Then the rehearsal delayed until we ended after 7pm, then people still wasting time in the band room over trivial idiotic stuff like they got all the time in the world. Damn them.

Finally, yesterday was CY's birthday and Ngee Ann Tapestry 4. I liked yesterday, it started off nice :) In morning assembly I happened to sit beside CY, yay! So I gave him the card and present :) He's very cute, hahaha. “谢谢你。。。谢谢你。。。真的谢谢你哦，好紧张哦。。。”Is that cute or what? :D Come to think of it, I think I heard him thanking people profusely before, haha. Eh, that's only the 2nd time he talked to me in person :O I hope he likes it!! ^_^ Then I kept smiling through the assembly, hahaha, because I love birthdays (not my own) and I love to make cards for them! :D Then first period from 8-9am. Someone said "Today is Cui Yi's birthday" Then 3R1 sang a birthday song for him in English. Then when we sang it in Chinese he so shy he go use his bag to cover his face, HAHA! After English, I left at 9am to go band. When I reached there, Wai Yee said to take our stuff and go to the hall.

We rehearsed there twice. And the 2nd time, they said the choir wanted the curtains open, so it means we can't set up the chairs and get ready and sit there while they are performing! -.- So we have less time to prepare. Why the heck would they want the curtains open and see our stands and files behind? -.- So after the 2nd rehearsal we went back to the band room. Lunch was from 12.30pm - 4pm and Mr Yu would come at 4.30pm. I was planning to go back to 3R1 to sit in for a few minutes of E Maths, but in the end when I got there they were dismissed already. I went in to ask if there was homework, no, but they started on trigonometry, argh! Then I went to wait for Chong Jin with Filzah. CY saw me and thanked me again. Then I thought he wanna shake hand, then he walk off, haha! Omg, that's so paiseh! But it's ok because he's birthday boy :)

Soon 4R1's class ended and CJ came out. We were going off when Mavis sms to ask where I was. I opened her class door and went "I'm here!" Hahaha! So CJ, Filzah, Mavis, XQ and I went for lunch together :) We had a long lunch since we only had to report back at 4pm. Chen Hua sms me to say jia you! :D Later Serene also did so, haha. We went back to school early and I couldn't get the key because Mrs Tan was at home -.- So I got Ms Chen to take it from her table. Finally, we went upstairs and Mavis and I played with the harmony director, playing Jay Chou songs. Haha, today 2 of us keep singing his songs, like 七里香，听妈妈的话，爱我别走. She thought that 七里香 was 晴天, haha. Mr Yu came as Wai Yee was conducting warm ups and taught her a bit. Then we practiced until 5. Suky came, but then at 5 the teacher said it was dinner time -.- So we went to canteen but our food haven't came and we waited for so long -.- Waste time, could have practiced more. So we went to change first and our food came. By then it was already 6pm -.- We went up at about 6.30pm. At 7pm we went down to the hall. Eh, I thought they wanted the curtains open... We went in to put our stands then came back out. But when we went in to perform the curtains were closed... Hm... Anyway, argh! I played a wrong note! -.- At bar 86 the important accompanying after the solo (which I didn't play -.-) It's Eb D C D, I went C D C D cos same position... under-pitched!!! -.- Grrr...! After that we went up to the band room to put our stuff and came back for the finale where all the performers come out and the school present our conductors/coach/whatever with a token of appreciation.

I later realised the token is a bouquet of real and pretty flowers which Mr Yu left on the conductor stand and left -.- So other people took it -.- Omg! Next Monday is Mr Yeo's birthday and Friday is Mr Yu's birthday! But Tuesday no practice for O Level listening comprehension sake. Friday is sectionals as usual. Saturday Mr Yu doesn't know if Mr Yeo's coming. Actually all these birthdays are from Mavis who got it from facebook, haha. Oh yeah, when I was shifting timpani it scraped some skin of my foot and my foot bled -.- Then I was shifting into the room with Mayumi when suddenly someone help me then I turn around, eh? Jonathan! :D

So tired... Ok so he didn't wear orange shirt today, but still striped shirt -.- Omg my senior so nice, gave me biscuit again, from Australia, haha :) My father was supposed to come to fetch me but my mother sms last minute to say he's not coming. Haha, so Jonathan sent me to the bus stop. He just came back from Australia today :O Haha, I asked him if I sit behind or in front. He was like "In front la!" LOL! Cos my father never let me sit in front last time because he said the air bag can kill me, hahaha! Er... maybe because I never sat in front before, I bang my head when I was going out -.- Seriously, it's lame la! Can bang head like that! HAHA! Seriously...

CY didn't go to watch Tapestry :( Haiz... Anyway, I love yesterday! :) Bye!

Yo! Haven't blogged since school started, which is 2 weeks. Anyway, Week 1 Tuesday, Friday, Saturday band. Week 2 Monday's (5 July) Youth Day holiday. Tuesday (6 July), Friday and Saturday band practice. Wednesday had extra practice, and Hansel's flute friend who's not our school senior came and taught flutes. Thurday went to band room cos band room duty has already started. Very funny eh, Thursday. Zi Yuan and Jaslyn on duty, then Zi Yuan called Mdm Yanti. I saw him in canteen and went to ask if he or Jas is collecting band room key. He said he's collecting but Mdm Yanti said need 5 people then can open the room. I don't know why this new rule, but ZY asked if can ask them (Cui Yi, Zhi De, Jason) to pretend, then I said ok, haha. I was also planning to go up. A while after I saw them leave, Jaslyn came and we went to General Office and they were there. He doesn't know that only teacher can draw key, so we went to the staff room upstairs. ZY dare not use the phone outside to call the teacher in the staff room. Haha, then we saw Ms Chen at the door so he asked her. She said "Ok Zi Yuan I'll see you downstairs in 5 min" HAHA! Then our 'actors' left and I said bye but they (Cui Yi & Jason) ignored me, only Panna and I forgot who said bye -.-! Anyway, that was funny. We got the key eventually and went up, haha. The flute guy came again. I played trombone and did A Maths with Jas help :) Something interesting, he used me as experiment for tuning. He asked me to push in the tuning slide all the way then listen to tuner and tune, without looking at the tuner. Then adjust the main slide. Then, adjust tuning slide according to distance moved on main slide, then play again, IN TUNE! :O Oh my gosh, I actually thought I wouldn't do it, haha. Zi Yuan left early for tuition -.-

Friday Mr Yu made special effort to come cos it's the day before NBC already. Today was 3rd National Band Competition. We started at 10am and we performed at 6+, about 6.30pm. We had lunch, no dinner. Jonathan and Suky came! They so nice you know. Suky came first and when she found out we will have late lunch she said when Jonathan go lunch with her they can buy some biscuit for us when they come back. And they really did, he go buy one tin -.- Haha! MY SENIORS SO NICE!!! I LOVE YOU ALL! :D AND I MISS KEVIN! :(

We didn't practice very much, because Mr Yu says we must save energy for the competition. We arranged chairs in the ISH first and after a while in the band room we moved there to practice. We moved in and out the 2 places constantly. We had lunch at... about 2, I don't know. But before that around 1pm had break and I went to the music room to see Suky and Jonathan, and Mr Yu playing piano, haha. He play sounds so powerful... We practiced a while more before lunch which I didn't finish, after which I went back to music room to Suky and Jonathan. I love my seniors a lot! :D We practiced a while more then went to change into band uniform and shoes. Jonathan came into the band room and I was gonna say something about our uniform. Just when Suky open the door she heard me say "The uniform very China eh!" then she burst out laughing, and Band too because of her, haha! Then we took a picture together :) Because Jonathan finds it China and never seen before, haha. Then we tuned again before leaving. Jonathan went home, Suky went with us there but not to stay, haha. There, we had about an hour before going to the tuning room at 6. We tuned and played a bit. Then went to perform. Not nervous at all, I don't know why, I think because Band is there. Never been nervous at band performances... I of course played some wrong things, after putting braces I don't expect to play like before. We waited for the bus. I had a little feeling of crying but Suky said don't cry so I managed not to. We went back to school and went home. I got sms saying we got SILVER! :D 74% Silver :) Then I sms my juniors and Jonathan (1st!), Suky, Kevin, Geck Woon, Darryl (who was there -.-) and Chen Hua. Only Kevin never reply :( Anyway, the seniors seem happy, SEEM only. Bye!

I'm officially the Band Major now! Friday was my investiture. Had to leave halfway through practice to go change. Was one of the first who changed, haha, the rest still in uniform. Looks like no CCA leaders there yet, but a few came shortly. So I sat at my seat, 11, and Nicholas (from LEAD for Leaders) came so I went to sit with him because it was boring. Found out he's Vice Captain for Wushu, he's standing in for the captain. Then went back to my seat and talk to the Guzheng Sheryl and Xin Yi who are beside me. It's amazing, I talked to Nicholas after only knowing him from LEAD, which was 4 days but the camp was only 2 days. I'm changing :D I think he looks like Jezer, haha! But Taufiq who was at LEAD sayd he doesn't. Anyway, the investiture was ok. Changed my shoes before dinner. They actually forgot about us CCA leaders when they gave out the letter or appointment -.- Ask them to rise to take pledge already then invite principal to give out letter to us -.- And the planning sucked. The rehearsal sucked, they didn't even rehearse everything. Make us look idiotic on OUR day.

Saturday band practice. Marching! Commanding! I taught them the maju command, which they failed -.- Haha. "Maju!" Still marching on the spot -.- Then once I want them to ke kiri belok while marching, I said ke kiri pusing then the girl in front suddenly turn and stop, I was wondering why she do that. Then I realised I said pusing not belok, haha! At the end, I also taught the Sec 1s keluar baris, because the seniors know already. They marched with main band today. Then practice in ISH. Played the solo once, skipped some parts but managed the first high high G. My best during combined so far, last time it was the one that Mr Yu say no need to play already. In my mind I was thinking "This is for you". From now onwards it will all be for you. Hopefully on the actual days, I will be the one doing it for you too.

Today was the farewell party for graduating seniors. The preparation up at the band room sucked. Maybe that was because I was in charge, and there was nothing much to do. But I came up with the idea to use ribbons to write "WE (heart) SENIORS!" on the cupboards on top :D Then there's bunches of balloons on the ceiling. So many slackers though -.- Had 2 hours to decorate, too long already. The other majors were preparing at the canteen. At 10am, some seniors came, some haven't. A few minutes later some more came. But mine still no where to be seen! So I called but he didn't answer. We got everyone to sit on the chairs that were in rows and starting the programme with the powerpoint slide. Halfway through Kevin called me! :D I rush out to answer and he was in school already, so I told him "faster faster!" and he was up in a flash :D We both had no chair (I sat on floor beside Suky) and he's beside the door. Then Yu Bin passed me one but I let Kevin sit, then he let me sit. Then we keep letting and in the end I sat there and he beside Chen Hua. After the powerpoint slideshow, Mr Yeo wanted to give out the certificates he printed. Just nice Kevin is the first one, then I thought I'm supposed to give them -.- Mr Yeo present them in front while I pass to him, ohhhhhhh cheh! Haha! After that with instruction from Mr Yeo I invited the seniors to say a few words. Kevin and Chen Hua one was funny :D The string from projector screen keep disturbing Kevin. Then they make so much noise until he never finish sentence. Then when Chen Hua say "I join Band" then Kevin laugh. ??? Then later I found out why, cos he alr knew what he's gonna say I think. "I join Band because I thought there's guitar in band" then Kevin laugh like crazy, HAHAHAHAHA! After Mr Yu and Yeo talked (almost cried!), I told them go down to canteen. Gave Kevin my gift and a handshake :) Suky and Jonathan and Hansel and a clarinet alumni were in the music room playing and I didn't disturb them. So I went out and Mr Yu came with me to tell them. They said later they go :( So I went, by the time I reached Kevin was removing candle wax from the choc cake, blew candle alr! :( I took picture with Kevin and section photos too, yay! But Sax Sect looks more one, like family, really... Finally I have some band pictures again! Haven't taken since so long! Use Serene's camera cos my phone suddenly spoil -.- During Trombone Outing I shall take more! :D Thanks Serene! :) I'm so sad yet happy today, sad that they're leaving but happy that we gave them this celebration. Happy that Kevin said "see you" to me for the first time, haha. I will miss him...

Happy Founder's Day! Yesterday it was, but I came back very late at night. The performance was ok... During the performance I suddenly remembered something. Last time during a performance, I could always remember which note I play wrongly because it can be counted in one hand. But now, after having braces, I'm mispitching so many notes. Kevin's solo was great, although his 3 high high Gs were not perfect. First one pitched then dropped, second one cleverly skipped but it didn't sound too incomplete, third one pitched and dropped too. But other than that and one note which was flat due to position too low, it was perfect, and beautiful, really. The sound was a nice trombone sound, a very typical Kevin sound :) Gave him a sweet to cheer up. Being Band Major for this band is -.- But I'm NOT gonna give it up ok! For the sake of my dear trombone section and band.

新年快乐！I found out something very interesting from Benjamin. Apparently, we have 2 juniors. And, that day Zi Yuan said only 2 Sec 1s got allocated, and not to my section. That's not true. And Andrew said DC used my trombone to let Sec 1s try, which is also nonsense. They used T2 and T4, their old trombones :) I hope they're ok. And my juniors are one girl and one boy, yay! I am bored, CNY is the most boring festival of all for me. Bye bye.
