Hi! Today we had post-exam activities in class. Financial literacy lecture for the 1st part before recess at 10.30am. I don't like money, so the video on coin making looked quite disgusting to me with all the coins pouring out from the machine... The 2 bankers taught us about banking, money and interest... I wasn't very interested and I didn't understand. During recess only got about 7 people in class so very quiet and I can listen to Jay song and sleep! ^_^ I like quiet recess in class.
After recess the 2nd part, I don't know if I should say it's the better or worse part. We played some board game in groups of 6 called Cash Flow, similar to Monopoly but more complicated and irritating. Actually I wanted to group with Sarah but then not enough people so we had to split :( That's not the only bad thing, the worse thing is I'm illiterate, as I found out during the game... and I am very blur, because I'm illiterate. I ah... owe the "banker" money and I've got money but I didn't pay it, HAHA! And I borrowed money first thing in the game but never returned... :s If I grow up like this, I'd better find someone who is financially literate to save me. It's quite worrying actually, how slow I am not just in studies but in the real world. :( Oh but the good thing is that even though it's part boring, it's quite fun also, and very funny. So although I was quite stupid-looking and I'm sure the guys all know I'm not very smart now, I had fun watching the guys play and watching their reactions, haha :) But I think someone is not happy now... Please know that I didn't do anything at all except that decision. After that, whatever happens is beyond my control but still, sorry... But may I ask, actually, why does that matter so much?
So if I'm not good at finance, not good at studies, my trombone life ruined by braces, then what am I good at? There's nothing left... My only capability was taken away on 09.09.09 when I put braces... Now I have nothing... I hope I will be good again when I take out my braces, next year... 还要多久？
After school still had to go do stock check at Band.
Yo! 27 July Tuesday band practice. Physics SPA was postponed so I could be less late for band yay! It's impossible not to be late because lesson ends at 2.30pm and practice starts at 2.30pm -.- and if there was SPA it'll end at 4pm -.- I saw Mr Yeo and Mr Yu at the canteen just after I finished lunch. Band was fun today! :) Mr Yeo said our MOE band fund's been approved so we'll get new instruments. Trombone will get except for Benjamin his bass trombone is in good condition though it's not younger than mine I think. But I don't want to change! I want 153671! But we need new trombones, not enough tenor trombone with trigger, 2 only. We had a new piece, Highlights from High School Musical. And Suky came! :D Last Saturday she didn't come and today would be her last time coming because school is starting for her... :( So she won't come every week anymore... So sad. I will miss her. Anyway, back to band. I think my sight reading for this piece is not bad. But! I made some mistakes on the notes which I didn't notice until Suky told me. But anyway, Mr Yeo said our mission today is rhythm and we can play wrong notes, haha. My rhythm is not bad. The wrong notes that I play is... pardonable I guess, haha. Because it's all F then one E. And next page all C then one B so I didn't really notice that it's a different note :S Today Sec 1s played with us too, but I think the ones playing is actually the Main Band only, haha. We ended earlier today! Mr Yeo conducted today! It's been such a long time since he conducted Main Band! Mr Yu went around listening to sections. Suky's band came in 3rd in SIBF and got gold, whoo! After band, I tricked Mr Yeo into finding his own belated birthday card. I said the bells got problem (actually that's the chimes, oh my gosh!) Mavis said percussion got a lot of place can hide the card and Gabriel hid it in the chimes which is covered, haha! Then Mr Yeo went there and took out the card, haha! After dismissal I walked to a different bus stop with Suky, because there also can take bus to the library stop where I change bus. First time take bus 18, haha.
Friday 30 July was sectionals as usual. Ah yes! On Tuesday the Sec 1s joined Main Band already, because the conductors said they have to come on Friday. It's about the same time as my batch joined... Friday people came late again as usual. Damn pissed off, committee members even! (not including those who were buying things for games day). I haven't been to that small sectionals room for a long time... and I don't like it -.- so much echo. I let them self practice for a while, then I take the section. Benjamin's rhythm is still... I don't know what. He can't count. Ding Cong's not bad, he practiced the whole song already! And his rhythm mostly correct except a bit which I also found harder at first. Quite good :) It's nice to have someone who can play with me correctly :) and I miss Kevin... :( Speaking of Kevin, on Wednesday the school announced that some people took part in accounting competition. Kevin's group came in under top 30, Serene's group champion! Check out school website for July :D I miss Kevin... :( Sectionals was ok other than Benjamin. I think he has to learn himself because it's impossible to teach him. Then we had a brass combined with Dion conducting. It's damn sucky because cannot hear and where's the melody? -.-
Yesterday games day. It's supposed to be only once a year not 2 -.- Anyway, fun was fun bit more tiring, haha. I'm team leader of Team 3: Yi Wen, Yii Jie (birthday girl!), Vanessa, Leon, Gabriel, Zi Yuan and Syamsul but ZY didn't come. Exams coming they still have what games day -.- There'll be no practice until 20 August! :( I will miss you Trombone! And Band!
Let's talk about Sec 3 KOREF camp 2010! From 20-22 January we had camp at Kahang Organic Rice Eco Farm (Malaysia).
22 Jan We had briefing in the hall from 7 until 8.30am and got the yellow camp T shirt. Went we left the hall I saw people outside (waiting for assembly until 8.30? Assembly's at 8 :O) I saw Kevin and wave at him (First time ah? :D) I actually said "hi :)" very softly but he said bye bye, haha! Oh I missed him during camp. (Actually 20-22 is Wed - Fri, also no band what) I sit with Camilia in the bus everyday. We reached KOREF and set up tents. Like what Kevin told me la, canteen beside hall then the sleeping area outside. After lunch, went to rice field. They help weed but I didn't cos I got injury, since that Tuesday after band -.- We went to visit a "Pak Cik" who's 84 years old in the kampong. On the way there, I love the water apple leave smell. I held on until we returned to campsite. His house is small and simple but strong enough to fit 2 classes on the platform. Run back to camp in the rain. Only at night then can bathe. They didn't even let us change! After that ah... nothing much. Bathing and sleeping sucks.
21 Jan I woke up the latest in my tent, yay. Purposely! Ok? Changed to my tights for the trekking later. Woo so tight, I'm the only one, haha. After breakfast we took bus to Gunung Lambak. Walao! Why can't we group with 3C2?!!!! :( During the whole camp I hardly even saw Samuel. (I had one senior and one junior with me in camp, so special right?) I think 3C2 went when it was dark :O Heh, very funny. We climbed for quite long and tired alr then they said "Reaching soon! Reaching! ... Starting point!" "?!?!?!" haha! The trek to the start was harder than the trek up from the start, really. The trek down was... scary. I think I have phobia of falling now. It's been 2 weeks since that fall now. During camp it was 1 week. I didn't fall, heng. I kept thinking of Kevin during the trek you know! What run up and down the mountain, then climb the whole mountain never sweat. He Superman is it?! Toward the end of going up I got tired, before that was ok. I keep on "I want my senior...! I want my senior...!" Aiya... If Kevin was here he'd be right in front, but if I ask him to help he surely would! :( We had lunch (I ate 2 bananas!) and went back to camp. We had water activities. I wanted to cry before rafting and almost completely let go and cry (I was starting alr) but then they ask us to form a circle and we played game while waiting (not enough life vests) so I didn't cry. I'm pitying myself for not being able to get into the water. Kevin told me only 2 people need to go on the raft, I thought per class. It's 2 people per raft, everyone. We played whacko. When they finished, it rained. We went in to discuss for class skit for campfire. They were doing class cheer and I was doing emo time. Now cannot cry alr! But almost la, one drop. Ms Poh took me aside to talk to me. She said if I want I can go, but after that just look for teacher to help change my dressing. I think she told Ms Low too. After that it was water obstacle course. Yay! I went eh, but starting only, cos halfway got lightning so must come back. Walao I climbing the net, going to cross over then cannot -.- Tsk. I never cross net before eh! I was dry. Then we go bathe. Xiao, we were last I think. They keep on "F7 hurry up!" I never hear them call other cubicle. Then one guy I think Sec 4 student leader go put the loud hailer above the door and shout at me and Camilia. Actually share for what? Still must wait what, idiot. I was bathing I thought why suddenly so loud, turn and see loud hailer on the door wtf?! Haha! Started raining alr, rush to the hall (which is just beside) without towel drying my hair -.- Luckily got dinner and long campfire until 11+ Every class do their cheer and some got performance. Ours was lame. Molestation skit. 3C2 sang Fall For You and one play guitar! Aww, nice :) But where's Samuel? Cannot find. Then we do cheers and SLs, teachers and facilitators perform. Hmm I sat beside Cui Yi and he quite caught my attention. His features are striking but I think it's not cos he's from China. He also feel like sleeping, haha. Being friends with him will improve my Chinese, he only speaks Chinese (but learn English of course). Never heard a word of English from him... Finally sleep time. Thanks to clever clever Shi Ying (that's me by the way) we had more space to sleep. It was a very basic arrangement actually. First day was idiotic.
22 Jan Rain again, first thing in the morning. Everyday rain. Luckily by the time I get ready to go out it stopped, haha, see? Go brush teeth so early for what? Ha. After breakfast we do CIP. 3R1 clean the boys side, 3R3 clean the girls side. Eee, got underwear (and socks) lying around everywhere. Rubbish and wasps. Ew. After that we played game all the way. Whacko! Double whacko! Yong Jie stood behind me and we stayed like that for the whole game. Hardly anyone call me but when they did he call another one quickly. So I'm safe. Once, someone said Shi Yun and he called someone else then 'eh?' Then I told him about the Shi Yun and Shi Ying. Once Andrew go call me Rebecca then Francoise the whacker come in front of me but never whack as if waiting for a name then Yong Jie go "Rebecca?" then I think he "whack" me. 3R1 was like "Shi Ying la..." We also play the game, stand in a circle then squat and sit on each other's lap and do class cheer. Not painful one. We had telematch with charade and broken telephone. Our message got distorted. Then play whack (single) again. The student leader called Rebecca, (how does he even know the name) then again they're like "Shi Ying...!" Then lunch and go home! :D Some class reached at 5+ we reach at 6+ -.- In the end, there's no band today so no difference. Haiya I wanted to go band!
I'm back from band camp! From Wednesday to today, but we didn't sleep in the school yesterday, we went home. Only slept in school on the first day -.- I washed the band T-shirt that I got yesterday, because we're supposed to wear it tomorrow to Open House.
I won't write about every day, just some important, major or interesting happenings.
1st day: Combined practice first thing in the morning. I wrote down on my score some things Mr Yeo taught and got my section to write too. I haven't written on my scores I think since SYF. After that's lunch, games (basketball and captain's ball, don't be surprised, I almost didn't play), sectionals where we separate into brasses and woodwinds only. Brasses had to stop so many times because people never learn their scores as usual, so we wasted a lot of time as usual and we didn't progress fast as usual. After that, marching! But it's raining, so we can only march on the spot at the sheltered area between the basketball court and canteen. The timer himself cannot even keep tempo. We learnt new commands. First row take a step forward, last row take a step back then ke kanan lurus. I don't know the command. The other one is just reverse. Then bathe and dinner. I bathed first while they ate first. The cubicle I took got no lock -.- so Mavis held the door, and later changed to some probably CO person. I like my hair down, it's nice. Then we went back for combined practice until 9.30pm. Band practice at night is cool. We didn't get back our hp (because we went to bathe). But Mavis went to the staff room to get for us :) It's written Music?Video Appreciation on the schedule. Mr Yeo told us about music and played a march and another music for us. The march, Colonel Bogey, he said is very famous and used in some movies, and we'll probably know it even though we don't know the title. But I don't know it, and he pronounced it as Colonel Boogey, haha. I search for it online. Marches have trio, I learnt. For that song, it's A-B-A-C order. B's the best, nice trombone part :) Next song, Out Of Africa. He asked what we think of when we hear Africa. It's supposed to be the animals and the land, but they said AIDS and other funny things. He made us close our eyes and listen, they go off all the lights, haha. It's those kind of music that go with scenes of animals (in the wild). I love music :)
2nd day Breakfast was a pizza the size of my palm, a fish nugget and a chocolate Swiss roll with cream and chocolate rice. Kevin took 2 and finished before me, haha. Combined practice, today I used my favourite bass trombone! Because yesterday after lunch and games I came back and the air-con must've dried the slide oil, so stiff. Kevin helped me..... so I wanted to change after dinner but no time. We had sectionals on Mamma Mia! and I still remember how to play. My stomach was tired, so I stop many times. I realised juniors and Kevin also slacking. Haiz. We didn't play together at all as a whole section. Mostly on our own, except the juniors, stick together like couple. Like seniors Jensen and Ryan maybe. Sectionals was about 2.5 hours! Went back in and combine without conductors. For the first time in ages, I'll say, not bad! It was nice! :D Then games outdoor and indoor. At least I scored a captain's ball today, Mavis pass to me. Indoor we play Blanket (with Chien Wai's sleeping bag) damn funny. May seem lame, but it's fun :D Then lunch and combined practice for about 3h. Sec 4 seniors came, Kor Kor too. After dismissal, "Band 10" stayed to practise for SLF. Marching and everything after's cancelled. Can't sleep in school today, I'd rather this than sleep in a hall with CO and mixed genders! Got band T-shirt, yay got section name!
3rd day Procession to Peace with Mr Yu first until 9.55am break. Mr Yeo came. Then he suddenly come out of the store room with 2 gold trombones, I was like ??? then realised he's gonna help juniors change trombone. Kevin's ex-trombone without trigger and the other is the other bass trombone, I thought. Then I realised THAT'S MY TROMBONE! I was like OMG!!! Told Kevin and later Mr Yeo realised I'm using Bass. I told him why then he said my trombone's ok. ARGH! So during break we changed trombone to Bronze Bass Trombone 2. Phew! I said I was scared that they'll kill my trombone, then Mr Yu heard. Supposed to be 10min break but I think they (most probably the slackers) said haven't eat breakfast so Mr Yu give 30min. Yay! I happily progress to 1st trombone today! :D (I didn't happily progress to 2nd earlier the year) For the song only. I still like my part better. I will have to teach Kevin rhythm, haha. Or help him, if it sounds nicer :) Bye! Bass Trombone 171035 rocks! :D
Yo! Band Games Day today! :D Darryl said he's coming during the practice time which is 3-6pm but when I came I straight away saw him in the canteen. I didn't see Kevin. I forgot that I was supposed to give him his card and stars! But I did anyway :D I go to him and tap his bag and asked "Kevin haven't come yet?" Then he point, just in front only, haha! Then I give to him the things. Haha, funny right? Just like that only -.-
ARGH! They asked us not to wear skirt but I didn't wear school pants, I wore my own. So me and Jaslyn just wore the skirt la. I was in team 4, under Shu Yan (Leader) with Benjamin, Cherise (Eupho), Chong Jin. Actually supposed to have Jay from Trumpet and another guy but they didn't come. Jaslyn also same group as her junior Hayyan. Shoudln't they group separately from our own section? Anyway, I don't know my juniors well. Haha, Benjamin's the only guy. Anyway, we were given 2 minutes to talk and know each other. So I know everyone's birthday. Actually before that I know already, only don't know Cherise, but now I know. Chong Jin 19 Dec, Shu Yan 19 Jan, Cherise 5 April, Ben 18 April.
First we played Flour Chair against team 3, Jaslyn's team. There are some chairs with lots of yucky stuff on it like an egg, toothpaste, some green thing, liquid. Altogether it looks like vomit, haha! So we stood in a vertical line opposite team 3 and play scissors paper stone. The WINNER sits on the chair, haha! Shu Yan, Cherise, CJ, me and Ben. We rock! We all didn't sit down, haha! I vs Jaslyn, scissors to stone, yay! Benjamin vs Hayyan. Trombone against eupho, haha! Trombone section so nice, let eupho win. After that, we go play captain's ball. This year no chicken. We used vegetables. Let's see now, corn, cauli flower, cabbage. Of course they broke la. I got Benjamin to catch the ball when they start the game, as in when they throw the ball between the 2 teams to start. Since he's tallest, haha. Then I got him to be defender also. Shu Yan's the captain, she's the one who catches the ball to score also. Benjamin managed to defend most of the opposing team balls. Oh vegetables not balls. After that had 10min water break.
Then we had god and bone where Kevin's the game master. Game masters don't play, they supervise a game station only. The bone is a cake of soap, LUX pink colour soap, covered in grass from the ground and he pour water on the soap. I was number 2, then changed to 3 when one person joined our team. We had different rules. The normal one is when someone takes the bone, if the other team touch him then they win. But ours is if the other team touches, the person drops the soap and the game continue. Pick up the soap again. Then the last round he go put 3 soaps?! And he called 3,4,5. Then when we run there and going to come back, don't know how the heck CJ fell ON ME! ARGH! Heavy eh! Then my legs were itchy after that. Maybe cos got soap on the ground. I washed it later anyway. After that we played dodgeball with tomatos. Just run to the centre and grab tomato and throw at the other team, cannot cross the centre line, can't hold the fruit more than 5 sec. I don't really like this, so I didn't throw many times la. I didn't get hit also :D Once hit then out alr. Our team left with 3 other team got 2, but we didn't finish the game. After that was break. I ate the porridge that I brought. Currently don't know what else I can eat -.- Then at 2.25pm, 35min before practice starts, Rebekah said it's cancelled -.- Why?! I don't want cancel! :(
I asked Kevin whether he bought Kor Kor's present he said no! OMG! We're supposed to give it today! :( On Monday he said Tuesday he will go Tampines Mall and see. He didn't even go! URGH! If I wasn't sharing present with him I would've bought and given him already la. Never mind, next week and next next week still has practice. He's probably coming after his prelim ends. Bye! :)
Oi! Blogger's fixed now! I think it'll go back to being spoilt however. I've put my braces in today. It's not painful. The painful part's when the separators were being removed. It took about 1h15min. I don't even know when she put the braces on. She said need to clean the teeth first, so I thought clean all the teeth then put all the braces. I can only see because I look at the reflection in the lamp in front of me. I don't even know when she stick it on my teeth. Later I saw the reflection there were some things on my teeth. I don't know if that's the brace or what. Only when finally she take out the 2 gigantic rubber things that pry my mouth open then my lips move down and feel something. I didn't know if that was the braces or my mouth numb after being a big mouth for 1h15min, but I guessed it was the braces. When I closed my teeth together I hit one of the lower left braces so she put some white lumps at the last tooth on each side on top that prevents me from closing my teeth together. So I can close my mouth but not my teeth -.- How am I supposed to eat like this? She said temporary only, know when's the next appointment? I thought it's for a week only, it's 2 months from now -.-
I'll be "Aahhh"ing for 2 months, at least. Mr Yeo and Yu won't need to tell me to open bigger, unless it's still not big enough. Now when I play trombone, my teeth won't be so close together already. At least there's a good thing. I think I'll be able to play tomorrow :D I mean play trombone not the games in tomorrow's Games Day, haha. Games of course can play :D I thought I wouldn't be able to play tomorrow because it'll be painful. But it's not painful, although I think it'll be a bit painful because I always press the mouthpiece to my mouth. So have to learn how to not press. I'm trying to buzz eithout mouthpiece now. It's harder because I have to make extra effort to close my mouth -.- Should be able to buzz la. *Buzz! Buzz!*
Oh ya, I forgot to dedicate song to Kor Kor in his birthday post. I'll go edit now. He won't know unless I tell him la (he only read it because I invited him to) but go listen to the song ok? Buzz! (Today's date is 9/9/09)

There's OLE (Outdoor Learning Experience) today. Our school hosting old folks. Our class was supposed to be one of the performing classes but the trainer chose 5 to be befrienders and bring the old folks to the hall. I was chosen -.- So I didn't perform, and learn the songs for nothing. Boring. I of course didn't talk to them. After performances in the hall, they went to play games downstairs, then they went for lunch. Then we went for lunch. After school, I was already in bus 27 then I found out there's practice today. So I went to the other side of the road to take 27 to Tampines. Nadhirah there already, Jaslyn came later. Then Assiddiq, he saw us then went don't know where. Then me and Nadhirah went downstairs to look for Ms Ong, then Assiddiq came with the key, just nice.
I didn't bring my file. Set up baobei trombone and looked for Darryl's file but couldn't find, so just took CH's file. Mr Yeo came and said he'll come around teaching us. Anyway, I remember my Overture No. 1 notes but only a bit of A Monmouth Overture. Mr Yeo came and teach me, then he lend me conductor score, which I didn't use because I memorised. I didn't learn anything. I played from CH's file :D And I played CH's parts too :D I so nice help him to write "Bb scale" and "Eb scale" where there's key signature change in Overture No. 1 :) Mr Yeo teach me twice eh -.- Boring. Got break, after going toilet, I went to walk around the school. Then went back to the room. I was telling Jaslyn one of the befrienders of my class don't know Hokkien then the "How are you?" he said it as "Lu hobo" hahaha! Then I said I never say anything but better than saying 'lu hobo' then Mr Yeo said I just said a lot of things, never heard me say so much before. Then obviously he hasn't hear me argue with Darryl. I argue with him better than CH argue with him. They 2 always argue non-stop last time. Then continue playing. I oiled my slide too :D 6pm dismissed, I wash the bowl and mouthpiece. I don't remember the last time I washed mouthpiece after practice. Bye, shouldn't have gone for band practice.

Yesterday was me & Darryl's "birthday", haha! I don't think anybody will know what it's about except us. Maybe he himself has forgotten already. And yesterday was New Year's day too. Today's the first day of school. I went to the hall. Behind the Sec 1s & Sec 2s rows was crowded and couldn't get to my class, so I went by the back, which is the upper Sec area. When I was going to my class, I saw Samuel! :D He wear long pants already! Samuel, you're looking cool man! ;) My class is very near to his class. And, I'm in 2R6 now! Not that I like my class, it's that Kevin was from here too. 2Rawr6! :D That's what his class called themselves. Darryl is in 4R1 now! :D I didn't see him. And Kevin, I don't know what class he's in, I didn't see him too. I wonder how long his long pants are, haha! His shorts are already so long. They're tailor-made. Anyway, the teachers talk until 9+ then we went back to class. 2R6 is on the 3rd floor. The classroom was very very dirty, I sneezed. We have new tables! Half black, half white, both trapezium shaped. My place is in a position that when I sit down, my back will be facing the white board -.- There were no chairs left so I had to sit there. Some tables have 4 people, some have 5, like mine. Our form teacher is Mdm Jamilah. Mr Lim (last year's form teacher) is the co-form teacher. He won't be here for long, he's leaving for further studies. Then 10am was recess. The new canteen is nice. There is an area with no chairs for people to stand and eat, but there are tables. It's for people who want to eat and quickly go off. I asked Wen Ling to help me buy food. Actually I could have bought it myself, but I didn't feel like it. The price writes $1.20. I gave her $5 and those people gave her back $3.40 -.- Money face. It's only 40 cents, they are that pathetic. I don't use vulgarities on my blog (except for once) but if I'm really pissed I will. (But I don't use the whole word) The bookshop walls are glass, and so is the door of course. It's got air-con like shopping mall bookshops as Mr Lim (principal) said. After recess was HE - chapter 5 - food spoilage. Our teacher was relief teacher last year :O I have to change my holiday homework -.- Not my problem ok! We played a game. We have groups of 4. 2 rounds. Each round a pair from each group goes up. One gives the other clues so that the other can a word. It's called the pyramid game but it's like taboo, just that Ms Nor said we can use hand gestures and sounds. We choose a colour of pyramid and it'll reveal the category. All categories are under food spoilage. We didn't wanna think of a group name so we asked her to decide for us. The first group she called Daisy, so she called us Rose. The rest chose their own. First round Wen Ling described and Swee Kee guessed. They guessed 3/8 correct but Ms Nor wrote 2 only -.- 2nd round they wanted me to go but I didn't wanna go because I couldn't absorb when I was reading just now. So actually it was supposed to be Hui Xin describing and Swee Kee guessing. But Ms Nor said it must be a different pair. So I described and Hui Xin guessed. We got 6/8, cool right? Ms Nor said the silent one emerges, haha! 12.30pm dismissal. Went home, ate lunch, slept. Woken up by Monfort School in front of my house. Person supposedly with a loudhailer and people playing some game supposedly where there's one more person than the number of chairs and when the music stops the one without a chair is out, with Barney song -.- I didn't look but I supposed from what I could hear. Did HE homework and changed my homework so that it looks more like a brochure. Everyone folded horizontally, I didn't fold, so now I fold it vertically. When I made it I typed into 2 columns because I've never seen a brochure with a horizontal fold -.- I don't care what they do, mine is vertical and it is! I like long, not fat. That's why I'm long, not fat, and trombone is long not fat. The things in my life are long more than fat, also don't know why, haha. Bye bye.

Games Day yesterday! :D I thought we were going to have Band practice. I was informed that we had to report at 9am instead of 8am but I thought practice would start at 9am. We were told to go to the canteen. When I walked past the Band room, the door was closed and no instruments were outside and I wondered why. Then when we went to the canteen, Cliff said there would be just games and no practice just for that day. Then we were grouped but some groups like mine had few people so those groups were broken up and the members separated to other groups. Then we played H2O. We had to form groups of 3 in our groups and stand anywhere in the canteen but we all stood in a circle. There's 1 catcher and 1 runner. The runner has to run to a group and the person standing at the end of the group has to run to another group and the catcher tries to catch the runner.
So we were playing then half way they increased the runners to 2. Then someone ran to my group and I happened to be the one standing at the end but before I could run I was caught already so I became the catcher. I couldn't catch anyone haha so I was out after 5 mins. They set a time limit and I was the first one and only one to be out. When I was running, someone (I don't know who) said "Ask ChengHeng to help you." I was thinking, his legs are so long, if he was the catcher he definitely would be able to catch and there's no way the catcher can ask someone to help. I wish I was taller.
Then we played Tug-of-war. We went to the field and before we started, BM and DM challenged each other and DM won. Then group 1 against group 2. Just when they started pulling, the rope broke, haha. I'm in group 3 and my group and group 4 didn't play that. The we played Dog and bone with a frog! I was surprised when they said it was a frog. Group 3 against group 4 first. I was number 4. Cliff called numbers 3 times. First 5 then 3. I said he called 5 and 3 but not 4 then he called 4 and 7. One of the guys in my group was 7 but he didn't go so I didn't go too and I didn't want to touch the frog. Kevin touched the frog. Then group 1 against group 2. The frog shit while Cliff was holding it. Ew... Then the winning team from both games against each other, which is group 4 against group 1 or 2. Cliff called a number then 2 girls went out but dared not touch the frog. Then he was going to call another number but I thought he called already and Kevin looked like he was going to go there. Then he really called Kevin's number and he went and immediately picked up the frog. Then I think it jumped away and Kevin was going to get it but Mabeline pulled him away.
Then we played Captain's Ball with a ball at first. Then later we used a chicken. Obviously the chicken was not a live one, it's the one from supermarkets, no feathers already. I didn't play at all. From the way Kevin plays, I think his team always wins. Half way through the game, the chicken got torn into half. Why? Because Kevin and Shi Mei were holding it and both refused to let go, haha. I have some new friends, Serene and other some people from my group. Serene told me Kevin sometimes skips Band practice but his attendance is the best in my section.
After Captain's Ball, we played water bombs. Cliff was talking when someone burst a plastic bag on his head. Then Kevin clapped and said waterproof, because water was dripping from his hair. I didn't throw at anyone and I also didn't get wet. Kevin wet so many people but didn't get wet himself. Only until people cheated by pouring a bucket of water on him, haha. They also played with flour, throwing at people then say they have white hair. Then they cleaned up and took a whole Band photo. Then we were dismissed but group 4 stayed because DM wanted to see them. Yesterday was fun :D just that I don't really like Captain's Ball. I think tall people would like that because they have an advantage. Maybe because almost everyone is my senior and I don't know them well that's why I didn't play. Maybe after I join Main Band and know more people, I won't be so ...shy.

Band practice today! :D We left our instruments at the detention corner and went to the canteen to play because a senior asked us to. There were 2 groups- 1 and 2. Each formed a circle and I wasn't in the same group as Kevin. I was in group 1. My group just introduced themselves by telling everyone their names and section. Then we watched group 2 play. And since group 2 wasn't doing anything, the DM or BM (I forgot which) asked the 2 groups to merge and play whacko with a ball instead of a stick. It's more fun with a ball :D We had to sit one girl one boy and DM or BM asked ShengHao (Tuba) to sit between me and Jaslyn. So they played whacko then later there was once where Assiddiq and ShengHao kept calling each other like" Assiddiq! ShengHao! Assiddiq! ShengHao!..." Then Assiddiq said" Rebecca!" Then the person with the ball I think is Benedict was like looking around asking who and where because he doesn't know me. Then Assiddiq said" The girl beside ShengHao." but there are 2 girls beside him so I just called Jaslyn, also a girl beside him haha! But he threw the ball at someone else. ??? Then later someone threw the ball at ShengHao too hard then went out of the circle and that girl sat beside me. After the game, we went back to our groups and Kevin threw the ball at the dustbin very hard haha. Then I said" Is that why the dustbin is dented?" haha! When we went back to our groups we moved to the basket ball court to play captain's ball. The juniors didn't play. Mostly playing were the guys then DM or BM said" We're not a boy band. So can you let the girls play?" haha, boy band sounds like those rock bands.
Kevin is so cool! When the game started DM asked "Who want to jump ball?" He immediately raised his hand haha. He's the tallest guy in Band and the tallest person in Band! :D The girl was CaiYan I think. Both from Trombone Section :D He was very active in the game. Then he suddenly changed team and went to my team! :D But I wasn't playing because I'm not good at games like this:( Then he wanted to throw the ball at the person standing on the bench. The person standing on the bench is just below the basketball net. Kevin threw the ball into the net and it went round and round the ring before dropping in! That's so cool! Then also there's another time he wanted to block the ball from that person he just stood there and raised his hand and he got the ball! We were standing there watching them play when Cliff came and us asked if we prefer games where we move or games where we don't move. Then I said games where we need not move haha. CaiYan came then we and some other girls went to the canteen and played Chucky- CaiYan's idea. Some people didn't know how to play. I thought everyone knew that game. She said" You're my junior so you sit beside me." haha! Then I told her" ChengHeng very cool right?" Then she just smile.
So that's what we played. Sometime when we play half way there'll be only 1 gun left. Then another time there were 5 guns! Haha! CaiYan said we start with 2 guns then she'll slowly increase the number, but that didn't happen. After playing for a while we stopped and I asked her a lot of questions and talk to her a lot. Me: That time you say Darryl say I never talk is you ask him ah? She said Kevin told her that they like ignore me, never talk to me like that. Then she went to ask Darryl he said I never talk. He ask me questions I reply very short. Then I told her that they never talk to me so I never talk to them also. And he only talk to me like"Can you play louder? Do you know how to play this note?" like that only. Then I also asked why they never talk to me. She said because I'm a girl then the 3 of them are boys so...they like haven't grow up yet. Haha! I asked her if Kevin know my name. She said she thinks so then I said he never say my name. Which reminded me of Trombone outing. So I asked her if she went and where. They went to Tampines Mall to eat dinner only because not all the seniors could go. Then I asked her Trombone section got how many seniors and she started listing them by name. Then when I heard one starting with J, I asked her what's the name she said because that alumni's name starts with J. She said Jezer then I was like what? How to spell? Haha, if she didn't spell it I wouldn't have known. Yes so that's his name.
Then Yi Hui suddenly joined us and sat with her. Then they started playing Chucky again. I thought they were just playing 2 people then CaiYan pass to me. So I played with them, very fast because there was only 3 people. Then CaiYan asked everyone to join in then we started playing again. Ms Leong came when we played half way but we continued. Then when we stopped I just talk to her again. I asked if all the Trombone seniors are very tall then she said yes. Then I said I very short right? She say Samuel also quite short. I asked her "Darryl Sec 1 that time shorter than me now right?" Then Yi Hui said" Darryl ah? You stand up....(So I stood up)...About there la." Then I replied" He Sec 1 about here then now he should be taller right?" Hehe. Yi Hui asked how tall is he now, I said I don't know. Haha. Then was break, the juniors went back to the area at the Band Room. For the first time I don't want to go back.
After break we went to M-Learning Room. Some seniors went in too, before we did. Then we heard DM or BM shouting" Get out!" then DM threw 2 pairs of shoes out and came out and sprayed Air Wick inside haha. Then DM or BM asked us to go in. When we went in a senior who had his shoes sprayed took a shoe and smelled it haha! We practiced Montego Bay and Frere Jacques. Then we did our duets but now she wants me to do a quartet on the same song. I don't want to. XueYing( Percussion) also asked me to do her solo with her. She wants me and Xuan Lin to do her solo with her but I think 1 person's enough. It's a sole so she should be playing alone but because her instrument has no tune, Ms Leong asked her to play with someone.
