O Level Chinese Oral is over for me! I had it on Friday. 甘唔公平 Day 1's 会话话题比 Day 2 我的容易那么多！朗读篇章也是啦！甘难耶！至少5个字唔会读，听说 Day 1 的只有3个字朋友不会读，而且他的华文比我的烂。Day 2 的该死的话题 Schools play the biggest role in nurturing sportsmen -.- Then the prompting questions are supposed to help by giving you something to say, and the questions are things like 运动员要具备什么条件？我怎么知道？！国家要怎么培养好的运动员？关我屁事，我怎么知道？！This topic is damn bias!!! I got Distinction & A1 in the last exam, and top in level mind you. Who's gonna believe that now? Not for them but for myself, I want that Dist in oral and A1 in Chinese more than anything else! Chinese is my favourite, my best subject! 火冒三丈，一整天都在气头上，回家还开冷气坐在床上看英文书。
直到 Saturday 我心情才舒畅了，因为我跟弟弟 谈了一下 :) I was waiting & wanting to talk to someone to relief my of my emo. 谢了弟！^_^ You're the best! You always let me talk to you, and of course I will always let you talk to me :)
弟弟的口试 is 10 days after mine. 弟弟 add oil! 要拿到 Distinction 哦！替姐完成梦想 ^_^
Hello :) Exams over today and band practice resumes today... But I had time to go home although it takes one hour, because exam ended at 9+ and band starts at 2.30pm. I'm jealous you know, you go out with friends while I stay at home...
I MISS MY TROMBONE BABY!!! 1 month no band practice, now there'll be tweets on band again ^_^ I love trombone and band a lot you know! I oiled the slide and polish my baby to make her nice and healthy! :D I feel very 委屈 for my trombone that her slide is in such a state... The seniors should have taken care of her more lovingly....
Tomorrow's marking day, no school, which means I will waste a day of my life tomorrow, unless I go study Chemistry or Physics. Before the exams I was thinking I should make notes not just for Bio, but all the Sciences. My Bio notes also didn't complete up to date... Well, I don't make notes consistently... And I realise Bio is harder to make notes because there's lots of diagrams which without them will be a lot harder to study. So if I don't draw it I'll be using the textbook in the end... -.- Ok, I'll end on studies. What should I do tomorrow? I'm definitely not going out because there'll be no one going with me, and I don't go out with friends... :( Urgh...! It's irritating when I have so much free time in Singapore! Oh yes! I actually could go to TAIWAN again! But, it's about 10 days and I'm already going to HK with Band... There'll be EAP in November, which will have homework, and of course there's holiday homework, and I have to study (though I don't know if I will). So I think I'll have not enough time to finish my work. But I want to go!!! Don't presume that I'll have chances to go in future, because no one knows the future, but if I could go after O Levels, I'd go to Taiwan or China! :D
Heylo! Today we stock check instruments. Committee only but Alicia came too, and some didn't, like all the trumpets -.- I remembered a few more numbers! Yay! But uh oh, I'm forgetting already! :S 158417 is DC's trombone I think. I saw so many new numbers today, I might mix up and combine some together, haha. The Bach bass trombone that does not have a shiny slide is 164298. Benjamin's bass trombone is... 390 I think, the other Conn bass is 592 I think. Argh...! I want to memorise them! At least I haven't forgotten the 3 I know :) Then we also took down the small trombones (sec 1s use Besson) from the top of the cupboards and that 590 bass. But, damn it! T T2 is missing! The one DC used last year! But it's not DC of course. A while later, I looked through the sign out book that QM keeps but I wasn't putting 2 and 2 together. It was 2 separate issues. And I was looking for trombone sign outs -.- Then after a long time, I was sitting, watching Jaslyn polish eupho. Then someone said must ask those who bring home instruments to bring back. It's not very loud, but I caught it and it struck me! Kheong Kee Poh that Sec 1 who quit used T T2! I don't remember but other than Vanessa he's the only other Sec 1 this year. And Vanessa's still in band and I'm sure she's returned it because she's not even one of us anymore. And I rushed to the record book, he's signed out T2 before (and even wrote it as the serial number -.-) The trombone can't mysteriously go missing, so it's most probably him! What the?! Why the heck is it with him when he's already not one of us anymore, he's not even in band! -.- I got damn agitated when I figured that... I was like shouting. So I called Mdm Yanti and told her about it... Stock check was damn draggy, as usual for any band thing... A lot of time spent with nothing to do, then when I went home it was downpouring -.-"'
Just found out Jonathan remembers numbers too! Haha! But I remembered his wrongly >.<>! ._. Come to think of it, I think we've never called each other before... Ok, that's all for today, the last day of common tests. Oh wait, not yet! After the last paper, A Math, I was very 不爽。因为老师说时间到了，我还没写完但我还是停了。可是我旁边的几个人还继续写，写了多几分钟！。。。不是一两句，而是几分钟的字耶。这样也太不公平了吧。我没做完已经不爽了，看见那些人继续写让我更气。Bye.
A Maths homework, mostly don't know how to do... -.- Tuesday exam already, my linear law still sucks... But luckily can get some help from Jonathan senior! ^_^ On MSN, as usual when I ask people homework. But it's not I ask him, it's he ask me to ask him, haha. So nice right, my senior :) Thank you Senior! ^_^ Actually if I wasn't so blind I wouldn't need him to tell me the obvious. -.- See ah, you'll laugh at this. y=hx+k sq root x. Ask me to draw graph of y/sq root x against sq root x. Just take that whole equation divide by sq root x then it will be linear already! Then find x when y=8 sq root x, just divide it by sq root x will be y/sq root x=8 already and that's the Y axis of the graph! -.- One step only. Then find from the graph the X value which is sq root x then square it... Eh... the first step I don't know means cannot do the whole thing already... I know how to do the back part also no use! -.- Very blind in Maths you know... Similarly, I know how to do coordinate geometry Chp 7, even full marks for that recent test! First time! But the exam will be all linear law except ONE question on chp 7 -.- And what if that question is super hard -.- Ok, I'll stop here. Bye! :)

Yo! The End Of Year exams were over today. Today was Science paper. Last night I finally understood why Darryl Kor Kor can stay up till 2 in the morning... The paper was easier than expected. I'm 23, 22 behind me and 24 in front of me say it's very difficult. I hope I didn't write mostly wrong answers... No, I know I didn't. I was not sure of a few questions but I attempted everything :)
Oh ya, as I was about to start writing, Chen Hua MSN me with the whole poem after he saw my MSN message "Nothing Gold Can Stay..." which is the title and last line of the poem by Robert Frost. His class watched it in Sec 1 two years ago during Literature lesson. But they didn't use the book. He memorised the poem though he doesn't understand it, haha.
Anyway, Xuan Lin's birthday is tomorrow, Jaslyn's birthday is Sunday, my birthday is Monday (a month and a week from Jaslyn, haha)... I have Values Champion training on 21 and 22 October, a week before school ends for the year. Is that any sense?... Bye!

Hi! It's the last day of the SA1 exams that require studying. I still have a CL Paper 3 on Monday, which is listening comprehension. Then it's all over. Today's Math. Paper 1 scared me, so hard, I thought Paper 2 would be harder and I would fail. During the break after Paper 1 I went to study a bit outside the band room, on the same floor as the sports hall. Do you have any idea how much I miss that room and how much I miss doing homework outside there?!?! Finally I'm there again! I was a bit late back to the exam, a few minutes. They were there and their bags put behind the hall already, but still quite noisy, so I wasn't too late. Paper 2's easier than I thought, I'll pass :D
Went straight to Hougang Mall after school to look for a present for dear Cai Yan. Her birthday's coming :D I went to Popular to buy wrapping paper and a bottle for something I made more than a month before 30 May. Then I wanted to go to Gift A Name and get her a keychain but that shop's not there anymore -.- So I went to Mini Toons (I already thought of going there) and got her present from there. I got a foldable box too, since the staff recommended it. There's quite a few but she only showed me 2 and asked which I want, so I took the one with "Good Friends" on it ^w^ The present had to squeeze inside the box o.o (So no wrapping paper) There's a greeting card too. So let's see now, Cai Yan's gonna get a lot of things from me, wow, lucky senior eh? Has such a wonderful senior like me. There's the present with a small greeting card, a birthday card I finished a while ago (I think I spent nearly 3h :O), that something I made more than a month before 30 May and another something I made a month before 30 May. WOW! Am I the best junior or what? Hahaha! I hope she likes everything, and hope she doesn't mind the ugly parts of the card... When will she come back to NAS Band again?...
I miss my section damn much!!! :'( I see their (CH & Darryl) faces everyday (because it's my handphone wallpaper) but I can't be with them :( Bye.

Band practice again today! :D I wore class T-shirt today, it's just my name and 22 behind and Rsix in front which looks more like "Kiss" from far -.- We gathered at the area beside the staircase because there's marching. At first the whole band was together then after a short while, Liang Rong split us up into 2 groups, my row is the last one in his group, Germaine onwards is Rebekah's. Marching... marching... fun! :D There's once Liang Rong gave the command to turn left, then we turn then Liang Rong say we're supposed to turn a bit not 180 degrees. Oops, did I turn so much? Actually it's Faris' fault too. Then another time Liang Rong gave the command to turn left then Jonathan turn left and Chen Hua and Cheng Heng turn right, haha! Marching half way then split. Haha! We finished at 9.20am. Then we went upstairs and set up our instruments.
We did warm ups with Ms Leong. Then after that we went for break. I stapled those papers that kept flying in the wind for him, see he got such a nice junior. I took picture of his A Monmouth Overture score. When he came back from break, we went for sectionals. We used the place in front of the plants. We're supposed to be back upstairs at 11.30am. Today I talk a lot to Cheng Heng! I think a bit too much, haha. But we never talk about other things la, band and trombone only. We started with A Monmouth Overture. My rhythm is so different from his. He know what 73 means already. (Yay!) He said if there's Horns then he don't need to play.
He said that sometimes I'll suddenly play a note louder. Heheh. Then he refer to Overture No.1 . He said I always blast at this part, which is the all crotchet part. At the top of 2nd page of Monmouth, we have high D but now I cannot reach it. Try to play like as if when you play you want the leaf to shake. Haha, cool, cool. We stopped at the top part of the 2nd page because there was a part we didn't know how to play. Then Cheng Heng said "Ok never mind, Overture No. 1 :D" Haha! I love my senior :)
He told me the trombones he used, quite confusing, even he is confused. Anyway, a few minutes before 11.30am he asked me whether I want to go back, then I said the trumpets still there. Then we talked until past 11.30am and then we went up. We're supposed to do stock take and see how many instruments we have for Sec 1s. Aiya, so easy, the silver trombones la, they're the only ones for Sec 1s. T1 and T2 are on top of the cupboards he just stretched his hand and took them down. For this part, I'm glad Darryl didn't come or I'd have nothing to do! I'm happy I did stock take with CH! :) I washed the bowl today! :D I volunteered to wash it :D After stock take, go home. I always smell like trombones after band practice :D

Band practice today! 3pm-6pm. I reached school quite early as usual, at about 2.45pm. Little did I expect that Darryl, Kevin, Jaslyn and Xue Qi who are always later than me, were already there! Especially Darryl and Kevin, they were never that early! I saw more than 2 trombone cases so I knew they were going to help me change trombone. T T3's mouthpiece couldn't fit in the gold trombone so I used the other mouthpiece, which is bigger than T T3's.Yay! I finally changed to gold trombone! Thank you! :DWhen I came back into the room again, just nice, help Darryl hold the outer slide while he oil the slide. Actually don't need to take out the whole slide, just extend it will do.
Then we went out of the band room/store room, and when Mr Yeo saw the gold trombone, he looked at it and nod, haha. We warmed up with Total Training and my sound sounded like there was saliva inside. I heard Darryl's trombone last time sounded like that when there was saliva also. But when I used T T3, there was never saliva inside. I thought I was really deproving because I still didn't play the high B flat properly. After Total Training, my section and euphoniums went for sectionals. We went to the music room. There are mirrors there. Sectionals means the whole section practise together, not 2 sections practice together! Why Darryl agree to have sectionals together? There's no such thing as sectionals together. It's just like combined practice, we can't practice on our own. After going to the music room, I went outside to empty saliva, and Darryl also. After he unlocked the door, he go and push the door so hard when it's supposed to be pulled, haha! I said T T3 never had saliva, then he said he was also wondering why I can keep playing without emptying saliva, haha. Then when I turn the slide up side down, the saliva came out but I didn't know because I wasn't looking, until he said "There, come out already what." And I looked, wow, so much saliva for the first time, haha. Then we went back in and practised.
I was still out of sorts! I really thought I deproved! Only until we went back to the practice room, then Mr Yeo asked us to play with the horns. Then when he asked just my section to play, I didn't play a lot of notes. Then when he said only 2nd trombone play, mostly it's only Darryl playing. Then he asked me to play alone and I couldn't play properly. Then he said "Rebecca, don't let go here! You're letting go here! (Diapragm) Don't let go, ok?" Then I didn't answer and just look at him blankly because I was thinking whether it was me letting go. Then Darryl and Cheng Heng both tell me to say yes, haha! Then tried again but still cannot play nice nice. He went to the trombone and after a while took my mouthpiece and asked "Why is your mouthpiece so big?" Then I look at Darryl, because I don't know what to do. He said that's for bass trombone and asked if there was another mouthpiece in the case, I said don't know, Darryl said he thinks there's one more. Then he and Mr Yeo went in the store room and I got a smaller mouthpiece. I washed the big mouthpiece for nothing! Then I went to go wash the smaller mouthpiece. I should have taken the big one with me too. When I came back, Darryl and Kevin were insid the room. They changed Kevin's trombone to the one without trigger. Then when I played, it was ok already :D So I' not deproving, it's just the mouthpiece problem. While they were still in the room, Mr Yeo asked them if they were done and said "两个大男人婆婆妈妈!" -.- I asked what to do with that mouthpiece, he said give to...(points at Cheng Heng's seat)...what's his name?..."Cheng Heng..." "Cheng Heng!" He remembered my name but forgot Cheng Heng's, haha. Then Kevin said his trombone was weird, then Darryl go take my slide and change with Kevin's slide -.- His slide was not balanced with the bell, too heavy, so after changing with me, it's balanced. Why give me the heavier slide when my instrument is already heavier than his? (His new instrument is lighter than mine) Then also, my bell is model 42, and the slide is also model 42, then after ahcnging, it's model 12?!?! And his slide is rusty, greenish at the top and the piece of rubber at the water key's not there, means the water key is spoilt and have to put tissue paper there. And it's rough at position 3 and 4, needs oiling.
There was a short break after that. And finally Darryl talk to me! :D He asked "So how's your results?" He only talked to me twice, excluding about band/trombone, and both times he started with asking how's my results, haha. Then I went "Why you always ask that question??" "Just asking la" haha! When I said ok, he said "You did very well right?" Then I "Ok only!" because according to him, his classmates say ok, but they get 80+ for some papers. Wow, 80+ is ok to them. And when I told him about the Science A2 and 74, he went ouch. And the EL, CL 69 and another 2, 68,68 he also went ouch. "And English, I got 10 marks less." "Ouch" See, he can feel my pain too, haha! And he is really my senior. "You aiming for triple Science right?" "How you know??" "Cofirm one" "How you know??" "Confirm one" Actually I wanted to ask again but I knew he'd say "confirm one" so I stopped, haha. "See the face can tell already." Wow, genius :D Actually it's nice to talk to my seniors, but too bad they don't talk to me often :( Oh yes, according to him, want to go to triple Science is not just get good grades for Science, Maths too. He was lucky because in his year, all the smart people don't want triple Science haha. but you're a smart person too :) I hope the same thing happens in my year :D
Then after the break, we played Singapura Medley. We only did this song today. I heard Kevin & Darryl saying something about Cai Yan going to Genting :O She's going to Genting with us?? Then... I forgot what happened. Then we were dismissed. Bye!

It's the last day of school and my class got COMPASS magazine. Band's featured! The 2nd National Band Competition, trombone section's in it! :D But the picture is so small! I got back my report book today. But before that was the Great NAS Clean Up. 1h, but nothing much to do. Last time we had it, we cleaned the tables and chairs first, then put them at the back. This time we put them at the back first, so it's only the windows and teacher's table to clean and tidy. Then the whole school went to the hall at 11am to get back our report books. Only today, the CCA record, where we write the activities that were not recorded, was collected. Isn't it a bit too late? How to make any amendments if they collect today and the report book is given today? But when I got the report book, it was written that I participated in the National Day performance. So no worries :D But there was also the record that I participated and represented the school in National Band Competition but the Sec 1s didn't even participate! We only went to watch our seniors! And points are awarded for that competition! So I get 1 point for nothing?
Anyway, my class position is 15/39 when my percentage is 70.8% and Wen Ling is 8/39 when she's about 72% -.- That few marks makes so much difference in position. I got 1 B4, 2 A1s, 3 A2s and 4 B3s. Haha, I got 4 different grades in the proportion of 1, 2, 3, 4. And by the way, all the grades and marks I'm talking about is the overall for 2008. You know what kind of A2 I got for Science? 74!!! -.- The subject I most want to excel in is none other than SCIENCE!! I want to go to 3R1, triple Science class! And you know what kind of B3s I got? 69, 69, 68, 68 -.- Again, so close to the next grade! All 4 B3s, so close to the next grade! -.- EL, CL - 69. Maths and Home Economics - 68. For Literature, I just got a B4 with 60, or else I would have stayed at C5. For CA1, SA1 and CA2 I got C5. My L1R4 Aggregate is 9 and my L1R5 aggregate is 11. What JC can I go to with 11 points? My remarks: Rebecca is pleasant and well-behaved. She has made an effort to interact more, an essential life skill. Continue to work hard and pursue higher academic goals. My CCA remarks! :D :Rebecca is a conscientious student with a positive work attitude. She has the potential to go far and has improved through the guidance of her seniors. She has shown regular attendance and commitment to the CCA. :D
Band practice tomorrow. I hope I'm back to normal. It's one month to my birthday, which means it's one month - 2 days to the concert and one month + 1 day to the competition. Bye!

Today is the first time we're singing the school song as one school after a long time! :) I think from now onwards, we'll always have flag raising in the new hall as one school :) Checked some papers today. Literature first, I only got 32/50, which is 64% - B4. Ms Lee said the top scores was 18/25 for the written test. Only 2 people, but there were many 17 scores, and I was one of them! :D So I'm one of the many 3rd positions. I improved by about 3 marks. I remember I got about 14 twice. For the poem, which is group work, it only got 9/15. But it's not my fault. I did the entire poem because the 2 other people went to the meeting empty-handed, not only did they not do any research, they also did not bring writing materials to the meeting. "Too much information will make it seem like an information report." Rubbish. So in a group work, only 1 person has to find information is it? It's just pure laziness and can't be bothered. These kind of people just piss me off. For the reflections, I only got 6/10. So it's a B4 for Literature, at least I moved up by 1 grade.
Then Chinese, we've seen our paper before so I already know that I got 51/70 for paper 2. But when we got the paper last time, the lame teacher talked so much rubbish after going through the multiple choice questions until there was no time left for the open ended questions which carry more marks. So today we went through the open ended questions. I already forgot my scores for paper 1. We have 2 compositions, letter writing and the other is writing a story. There's also the oral which will be counted, I think it'll pull my scores down. Anyway, 51/70 is my best score for CL Paper 2, I got 50/70 for SA1.
After that was recess, and after recess was Science. Mr Lim (Science teacher) only let us check the marks but didn't go through the paper. I got 24/30 for Section A. For Sections B and C I got 49/70, so that's 73/100 - A2. Argh...! I was expecting an A1!! I topped Science last time and now I only get A2?! How can I go to my dream class 3R1 like this?! Then he went to invigilate 'O' Levels or something. I thought 'O' Levels start in the afternoon. Then later, Mr Lim (History teacher) came, it was still the Science period. When I saw that my score was 42/50 I was quite happy. That is my best score for any subject this year. It even beat my score of 83.1 for Geography :O But later I found out that many other people got A1 too, because the answers were given to us before the exam, so we just had to memorise all the answers because we don't know which question will come out as we were given answers for a few questions. I got 30/30 for the 2 structured essay questions. I think the structured essay questions are just memory work. It's the source-based and comparison questions that your memory can't help. So I got A1 for History :)
Last period of the day was Maths. Again, we only checked marks, didn't go through the papers. I was expecting an A1 too. I only got B3. My scores were 28-1/40 and 33/50 for Paper 1 and Paper 2 respectively. The 28-1 is because the presentation of answers were not good for Q3 and 10! And what a funny way to get the score /100. Paper 1 score x 1.25 (to make it /50) + Paper 2 score = score/100. ?!?!
My class has a lot of lame and brainless people. They tear down the plastic covering for all the noticeboards in class when they're only going to be used next year -.- That's very stupid. It's still 2 months + till next year and they remove the coverings. They really have nothing better to do right? Have to go and dirty the noticeboards. And what's more, we're not using this classroom next year. Can't they be more considerate? And they make so much noise and act like idiots as if they were just released from prison after 10 years. If they've got nothing better to do, then go and study for next year! Just because SA2 is over, doesn't mean studying will never be needed again right? It's only Sec1 idiots, wake up. People stereotype against classes because of their names. People think lower sec R6 and R7 and good classes and all the C1s are bad classes. As if. You call this a good class? Just because people are from this class, doesn't mean their the goody goody type. And don't look down C1 people, they are not all bad. Every class has bad kids. Just because their results are not that good doesn't mean they are all not the goody goody kind. Samuel is from 2C1 but since the first time I chatted with him on MSN (which is the first time I interacted with him aside from 2 lines), I already knew he's the good kind :)
There's band practice tomorrow! :) I hope all 3 of my dearest seniors come! Why is there still band practice when there are 'O' Levels in the afternoon? We won't disturb them since we're in an enclosed place on the highest floor right? Good luck Cai Yan & Zhi Hui, all the best! :)Bye!

Yesterday was the first time in a long time that our entire school gathered as one. Too bad the Sec 4 Express wasn't with us :( But anyway, it was the good thing that we're back together as one school :) Wednesday only the lower sec was together. Yesterday all the Sec1 classes except 1R7 went on our excursion to Singapore Discovery Centre. We went from Tampines in the East all the way to Jurong in the West I think. When we just got down from the bus, we boarded another bus for the SAFTI tour. That's Singapore Armed Forces Training Institution. The bus just go to some places and the person tell us what building it is and all that. Then after that ended, we went to the discovery centre.
Our school always has some race when we go out of school. I still remembered the NAS Maths Trail 2008 was something like Amazing Race at Changi Airport Terminal 3. And yesterday was X Race, same thing, go around looking for answers. I don't like "Amazing Races". There were also other things. Oh yes, during the break just after the SAFTI tour, I was so bored that I switched on my handphone for absolutely no reason (on silent mode of course, it's always silent in school). Then I felt my phone vibrating and was quite surprised. Rebekah called again and asked me the same question "Rebecca where are you?" and got the same answer "I'm not in school." She said my Genting form was missing, then I thought it was the particulars form but asked to make sure. Then I said I just gave it to Ms Ong that morning. She was so relieved she went "Ooooooohhhhhh!..."
Oh yes, also saw Darryl in the morning, because after I changed to taking 27 instead of 72, we take 291 from the same stop which is opposite the library. And he always just suddenly appear out of no where when the bus comes, that leaves me ??? Bye!

The first day of post-exam activities today, and the first assembly in the new hall. Yesterday was marking day and Monday was checking EL and CL papers. I got B3 for EL Paper 2 and B3 for CL Paper 2 and 1 combined. We assembled in the new hall today. Only the lower sec. It was air-conditioned. We have 2 halls - Assembly Hall & Multi-purpose Hall. Actors Tan Kheng Hua and Lim Yu Beng (couple) were there. They gave a talk about theatre. It was the first thing in the new hall, so, wow, we had celebrities open the new hall. When they asked questions, hardly anyone answered. In fact, they asked a few times but still no one answered. After the talk, they did a recording and wished us Happy 15th Anniversary for next year, haha.
After that, the second thing was a short talk by someone about 2 things - some learning method and martial arts. Then at the end, he got a volunteer so he could show his attack. He said he'll be teaching us defence so we'll see him again. Recess was at 10am and there was still time, so we watched the national day video. It was funny, haha. All the school videos that we watch are funny. After recess, we went back to the hall to do some IDEA thing, where they asked about the arts culture in our school, whether we like the arts programmes and stuff and we give feedback. Each class split into 2 groups - odd index number and even index number. It was quite boring, I couldn't hear much when the person read what was written on the paper because it was noisy.
After that was done, we did a fire drill. "Evacuated" class by class through 3 exits. There are 19 doors in the hall. Went to the temporary canteen. And from there, we went back to our old classrooms to shift the tables and chairs to the new classrooms. When I went back to class, the new 3I1 sign was there. Why do Sec 3s use the old block when the others (Sec 1 & Sec 2, don't know about Sec 4) will be using the new block? The new signs are bigger than the old ones. 1R6 is on the 2nd floor, same as the current 1R6 classroom. The 2 blocks are connected. When I was walking to the new 1R6, I walked past the first classroom nearest to the old block and saw Chong Jin in there. I looked around and saw Kevin. Then I looked at the class sign and realised that was 2R6! 2R6 is the odd one out there. I think all the other classes are Sec1 classes. And they are all facing away from the old block but 2R6 is facing the old block. Why didn't they do PRIME last year? If they did, Kevin's and my classroom would be on the same level! 1R6 and 2R6 is just a few classes away by the way. Next year I'll be in 2R6, that odd one out and none of my seniors will be on the same level :(
The new classrooms are so big! :D The old classrooms had only 4 fans while the new ones have 6! This means that the new ones are 1 and a half times bigger! :D The whiteboard is longer too! And the projector screen will not cover the national flag when pulled down because the flag is on the left while the screen is on the right.
I went home after the shifting was done. This time my arms don't hurt like when the Band's shifting. I just alighted from bus 27 and I remembered that I forgot to give Ms Ong my particulars form for the Genting trip! During recess Rebekah saw me and I passed my passport to her. She was also holding some particulars forms but she didn't ask for it, and after I passed her the passport, she went off already. Then I felt my handphone vibrating (couldn't hear it ringing) but I didn't recognise the number. Then when I picked up, "Rebecca where are you? I'm Rebekah" How coincidental, I just said I'm not in school then she wanted to say something and I heard people shouting then she said she'll explain to me tomorrow. Don't tell me it's something wrong with the passport. It can't be. Tomorrow I'm having the excursion to the Singapore Discovery Centre. I'll just give it to Ms Ong in the morning then.

Band meeting today! Yay! Finally see the band after 6 weeks! :D Math Paper 2 ended at 9am and the meeting was at 10am in the AVA Room. I went upstairs to wait outside the AVA Room. When Darryl came I told Xue Qi "How come this time I see my senior I not happy ah? Not just not happy, unhappy..." Why?... When I was outside the AVA Room, I asked Jaslyn about the quiz at my blog. It's some friend quiz to see how well people know you. I asked her how she knew the answer to the last question. Then Xuan Lin thought I was talking about the Math paper and said the answer is no -.- The last question of the quiz is "Who's my cutest senior? :D (Haha, tricky one)" And the 4 options are A. Cai Yan B. Samuel C. Kevin D. Darryl. The answer is Darryl and she got it right. Then I said I'm talking about the quiz at my blog and said "Where got people's name is "no" one?" Then Darryl went "No! No! No!..." So coincidental, haha! Then Ms Ong came and we went in.
She told us we'd be going to Genting again! Yay! She said it was because the company promised something, not sure what she was saying. Yes! This will be my best birthday as I said! :D She said we'd be moving the instruments after wards and that a lot of people are shifting today and that we're the last people to use the AVA Room, so honoured, but didn't take a picture of it. Then when she was briefing us, there were a lot of funny parts :D When we were too noisy, she took the bell on the table and pressed it, actually it's a service bell but I have no idea why it's in the AVA Room. Then she said we also need to put a picture on the particulars form so that if anything happens, touch wood ah, they'll know like "Oh! This is Gaby's picture!"" Then everyone burst out laughing including Gaby herself, haha! Then also she said she needs us to do some form so she'll know who we want to sleep with, hahaha! She meant room mate but said wrongly and we burst out laughing again. Also, she told us a secret! :D Then she said it's not really a secret la, it's confidential and if we're clever, we won't tell other bands especially those not going. One of the judges called John Edward something is going to be a judge for SYF 2009! Then she said maybe we can take the chance to see what he looks like (we start laughing again) and know what articulation or style he likes, Then Liang Rong said "Why not go make friends with him?" Hoping he will be corrupted so we get higher points for SYF, haha. Then she briefed us on the shifting and we went to shift instruments.
She took us to the new room and said some things about it. The floor is parquet so water spills and scratches will be quite serious. She'll tell about about emptying saliva next time. I was thinking "What if the trombone water key scratches it? And, haha, empty saliva on the floor." Then she told Section Leaders and Exco members to stay there to decide which cupboard for their section and stuff while the rest went back to shift instruments. Since she asked us to shift our own instruments first, I took mine which was outside the band room since I borrowed it and brought it back today. I also took a stand since I thought just carrying one trombone was too little. That stand is in the box where that's the only thing usable and since there's no name, I always use it and I'm thinking of making it my section's. My left hand was very painful because the room is on the 5th floor and we walked up the stairs. Saw Darryl going back when I was going there, must be meeting over. Went inside the band room (which isn't the air-con one, it's beside the air-con one) and Cliff tried to put my trombone in the trombone cupboard but since there was a separating board to separate into 3 parts (all 3 parts are part of the trombone cupboard) my trombone couldn't fit and he had to take out the whole board and put it higher. My stand (not mine actually) also he kept, in the cupboard I think. Then he asked me to tell Darryl to bring all the trombones, even those spoilt. So I went back to the old band room and told him and he said "I know"...Yeah, I thought you would know because I also know but I'm just telling you because Cliff said so. Then I didn't do anything for a while because I didn't know what to do! Then I asked Germaine and she said I could take the mutes because she thought it was my section's. I don't know if it is. Then Chong Jin wasn't holding anything so she took a trombone. It's the kind my seniors use. I took all 4 mutes there. Then half way up the stairs I asked if it was heavy and she said yes, so I switched with her. The gold trombone with the case is heavier then my tenor trombone! Then I said I don't want to change trombone anymore. That's just joking, of course I want to change. Then, already on the 5th floor, while walking to the room, I couldn't take the weight anymore and put it down. Then just then Darryl came round the corner and run there and help me take, haha. I went "Thank you!" haha. Already on that floor and reaching then he come and help! Haha, it's better than nothing. Don't know whether he run because he's worried for me or worried for the trombone, haha! And, oh my gosh, he's so strong! The way he carries it is as if it's so light and he can walk so fast with it! I only started carrying it half way up the stairs but broke down before reaching -.- Does he think I'm useless?... :( Kevin is also very strong. He carried 2 trombones at the same time, one in each hand! Then went back to take some more things. I went to and fro many times, like everyone else :) Oh ya, there's once Chong Jin's Chinese teacher who's also Cliff's Chinese teacher, was arguing with Cliff over Band's space and other CCA's space (we share the band room with Chinese Orchestra and Guzheng). When you go into the room and turn left, there are cupboards on the left and right. We put our things on the right side (don't know if they used the left side in the end because after a few times I didn't go in already). We were using the first half of the left side cupboards then they were going to put things in the back half left cupboards when the teacher said it's CO's space. Then Cliff got agitated and asked "Then where's the band's space?!" The teacher then said "Ah, ah, ah..." as if he said some vulgar word -.- then we start laughing. Then Cliff said he thought it was that side (pointing to the right side cupboards) but the teacher said no, the back half is their space -.- Then Cliff said "Oh even better! Then they'll use this (back half) and we'll use that! (Entire left side)" Haha. So we'll have the left side and half the right side while CO only gets half a side, haha! But Cliff was correct, we own the entire right side. And the teacher actually thought half the left cupboards would be enough for a BAND?! It's even smaller than the old band room, please -.-
The first few times, I went back immediately to shift more things but after a while I stayed in the air-con room for quite long before going back. I took a lot of pictures! Once I went back then Cai Yan, Zhihui, Jo and Shir Lin came at about 12pm, they were just dismissed. Then Cai Yan asked if we were done, I said no, they're shifting the librarian's stuff. Then she told Jo "They're shifting librarian's stuff! They're shifting your stuff!" Haha, then she went in (the old band room) and wanted to help. Jaslyn said she got a lot of piercing, and Zhihui heard and said don't follow her, she ah lian. We put boxes of books on the trolley and they pushed them until the stair case only. Yi Hui was pushing it but it kept steering to the right and she said it was very difficult to steer, haha! Then Melissa (Trumpet) lifted the front and made it straight but when Yi Hui started pushing again, it went right, haha! Then Melissa tried pushing it but she pushed too fast and couldn't stop in time when it moved right. Then the trolley scratched the wall and stained it blue! The new wall has a blue line on it now. Then at the stairs, Yi Hui passed me one box and said it was lighter, then Melissa took that box and said the Trumpet (don't know whose) was lighter. The band seniors are so nice :) The trumpet is very light! I expected it to be a bit heavier!
There's also another time I took 2 bags, one with valve oil and the other was tied so I don't know what it had. There were 12 bottles of valve oil, all or most not used! Hahaha, I'll never have to wait as long as I did to oil my slide again! :D Another time, Rebekah passed me a drum stand then Kevin took it. So she passed me the chimes and it was making a lot of sounds and she said "It's damn noisy, just bear with it for a while. Or you wanna take this?" Then I just used my other hand to take it. Actually I could choose one because she said "or" but I took both because the chimes are small and light and I thought taking only that was too little. I've never seen that chimes before, only seen the big one. That small one has a piece of wood with chimes dangling from it. Then I went to the new room with Jaslyn, Xue Qi and Xuan Lin were in front. They already went in when Jaslyn and I were going to enter the air-con room. I tried to open the door. Actually I already pulled the handle and opened a bit already but because my hand was holding the chimes which was long, it blocked and acted like a lock. But just then someone from the inside opened the door. I was surprised because I didn't know there were people behind the door. Guess who. Darryl, haha. The bigger percussion instruments were transported by a crane! Haha! Then he workers lift it over the railings and some people take it. I kept taking pictures at this part, haha!
We didn't have lunch, only some did. In the air-con room Ms Ong asked me, Jaslyn, Xuan Lin and Xue Qi "Girls, have you all had lunch?"I shook my head and said no. Then she asked the group of guys "Boys, have you all had lunch?" The Darryl also shook his head, haha! Same question, same reply but different people, haha! She got Kevin to put the small drums on top of the cupboards. He just took the drums and put on top without even standing on a chair! Cool! :D The Ms Ong said he's not tall enough and told Jeremy (Clarinet) to get a chair. There's one percussion instrument where there are 2 parts and were separated when transporting. Then Darryl and others were trying to put the other part on the instrument but couldn't then you know what he did? He called Kevin "Cheng Heng!..." Cheng Heng didn't answer because he was in the band room and might not have heard or heard but ignored. "Taiwan!" -.- Ms Ong dismissed the Sec 1s first. Actually I think she wanted those who haven't had lunch to go for lunch then come back and continue. But later changed her mind. I was dismissed at about 2.40pm. I wonder what time my seniors were dismissed... Here are the pictures! :D

Some instruments being shifted from the crane, I didn't take because there were very few people so I thought I might need to help but I didn't in the end. The last time I saw the M-Learning Room was the last band practice, which was about 6 weeks ago. I don't have any pictures of it. I'll miss that room too. It was where the entire band squeezed inside as one band and shared laughter, music and everything. If I ever get to see the M-Learning Room again, I will take pictures of it. Today I managed to take 17 pictures! And not just of instruments like the time I took 8 trombone pictures, I took people too! :D I told myself that the mext time I see the band, I would take pictures of them and I really did! I hope I can do this every practice, haha! The next band practice is next Saturday, so it's not 6 weeks without band practice, it's 8 weeks :( But at least I saw the band and the instruments (even those spoilt) today! :D Bye!

English Oral Presentation today. The first time I come across an oral exam where we present in front of the class. It's not fair, some will be too nervous to speak properly, like me! I was too soft! And I didn't read my entire script because we couldn't exceed 3 minutes! The purpose I'm writing this is to show my script. I wrote quite a lot actually, but read about only half...and changed some words when I read them too...And we also have to record an audio recording of ourselves reading a passage and send it to the teacher (not yet). And also, there's no staying back after school and reading in front of the teacher. I prefer that actually. There were 7 topics to choose and I chose A New Interest/Hobby. I think you already know what I talked about :D

Topic: A New Interest

Good morning/afternoon everyone. The topic which I'm presenting on is A New Interest. Recently I have a new interest, and that new interest is in Trombone! (The 2 girls in front of me smile because they know I love Trombones, and I smile too) Firstly, let me tell you what a Trombone is. (Because some don't know)

It is very unique and different from all the other instruments as it is the only instrument with a slide! Some examples of trombones are the Bass Trombone, Tenor Trombone and Alto Trombone. Now, let me move on to how I got to be with this very special instrument.
It all began in February this year, when I joined the school's Concert Band. We were required to try the instruments and our seniors would indicate if we made a good sound or a bad sound by putting a tick in the boxes with the words "Good Sound" and "Bad Sound". After trying the trombone, I found out that my senior (CaiYan) put 2 ticks under "Good Sound" for me, while only putting 1 tick for my friends, that is, if they even managed to produce a good sound. I knew it meant that she thought my sound was better, she even drew a smiley face! Then, it was time for us to indicate our choices of which instruments we wished to play. Without hesitation, I put the trombone as my first choice, knowing that I was better at it. Next we had to play in front of the teacher and she would decide which instrument we were suitable for. I was the first to go and I was allocated to the Trombone Section!! I was very exhilarated, but I didn't know why. Maybe I was fated to be in the section!
The following week, we Sec 1s had our very first practice. My senior (Darryl) taught me all 8 notes in the scale (B flat major) when the teacher only asked the seniors to teach us the first 3 notes. However, Senior said I was fast at learning, so he taught me all 8 notes. That day, I kept boasting to people that I was in the trombone section because I was happy. After that first practice, I already liked trombones. It was only one practice, but I guess that one practice must have been a very good one to make me like trombones so much. Next, I will tell you why I love trombones.
Ever since that first practice, I've been crazy about trombones, as you can already tell. I'm always talking about it to everyone I know. I love the sound it produces and I find it very special as it is longer than other instruments and uses a slide, as mentioned earlier. Another thing is that it can make a unique sound which other instruments cannot make. That is where the trombonist blows into the mouthpiece of the instrument while changing slide positions without stopping or blocking the air. Because of all these things I've mentioned, I find it very interesting and I am very proud of my instrument.
I am constantly learning from my seniors and trying to improve my playing. Currently, I'm using the Tenor Trombone but I hope to change to a Brass Trombone soon. The difference between the 2 trombones is that the Tenor Trombone is silver whereas the Brass Trombone is gold in colour and more complex than the Tenor Trombone. In my entire life, I have never been happier than now, with my trombone. In other words, trombones bring joy to my life. I will always remember the times I spend with my seniors and trombone who are most precious to me. With that, I end my presentation. Thank you!
I drew musical notes on my script! :D Unfortunately, it didn't go as well as it looks. But I don't regret doing on trombones, and a little on my seniors :) I love them! Always! :) And I'm happy I did so. Bye!

26 August 2008 I was dismissed at 1pm but Xue Qi went home and Chong Jin was waiting for Serene to go eat lunch so I waited with her. Meanwhile, I did my Home Economics homework from the workbook with some help from her. At 2pm, still no sign of Serene or Germaine, so we just went to McDonald's to buy take-away. I walked back to school and ate along the way. Met some seniors along the way too. Then at the guard post we weren't allowed to bring the food in. I've brought drinks and food in before but the security guard didn't stop us, and today that person who always let people bring drinks into the classroom block was there. Chong Jin suggested putting the food inside the pocket and I wanted to go to the bus stop to do that but in the end just ate at the bus stop.
Band practice today! :D I'm so happy although Kevin and Samuel didn't come, because me and Darryl are friends now! Yeah! :D The Band started setting up instruments, helping with the Percussion instruments and getting the chairs. The M-Learning Room was being used so after we got everything ready, we had to wait-wasting our time! -.- We waited for so long! Oh yes, while waiting, Cliff was calling Rebekah, "Rebekah! Rebekah!..." then he turned and saw me and paused at the "Rebe-" then turned back and continued the "kah!" haha. Actually I didn't know until I asked Xue Qi because I only heard him calling then suddenly look at me. Then finally, we went in to arrange the chairs and everything. There's an extra chair in my row-usually there's only 3 chairs for my section but today there's 4, and we only needed 2. So when I went in, Darryl's Trombone was put in such a way that I couldn't sit beside him, so I sat 1 seat from him and 1 seat from the Trumpets. We did warm ups and Mr Yeo keep asking us to play because we didn't come in together. Once I was early, just once! Then at 4.10pm we went for Sectionals.
Usual Sectionals place :D He took me in March "Blue Sky" and Novena. I still cannot reach the High E flat properly. I reach it, then it drops or I reach it then I cannot reach it. Must be tough on him. When I was supposed to play High E flat, I pitched too high and played something higher! :O I actually over-pitched a High E flat! It's position 3 too, and higher than High F. Darryl say it's not that high, haha. He said he never played so high before (but I don't believe) and Suky can play until High High B flat. Then I said "Aiya, she's 20 what..." Then he tried to play that note which I accidentally played and got it at once. Of course, he's so pro! Then I asked him "I thought you say you never play so high before?" and he said "That one is just try only." haha! I don't believe that he never played that high before, even if that note never appeared on the scores, I think he tried it before. He said I should be very happy I can reach so high and "Samuel ah..." haha. When he talked about Suky and the Trombones which need to be repaired, I already thought he was friendlier. Then Cliff came and said there was a 10min break and after that go back to the room. So we had Sectionals for 50min and break for 10min. Then I went back into M-Learning Room with Darryl. He's a gentleman ok! (Because he help me hold the door, haha) And last time Mr Yeo asked him to take chair so he will be a gentleman-.- haha.
I sat with Darryl after the sectionals, as in beside him, no more one seat beside him. And because of that extra chair, it was quite squeezy and the chairs were SO close! The reason why I didn't sit beside him before sectionals was because his Trombone slide was in front of the chair so I sat at the next. Then he put his file and stand there took his Trombone(haha) then after he took his stuff, I didn't feel like shifting, so I didn't. And after we sat down, he asked me "So how's your Common Test results?" Suddenly he's so friendly and I was a bit surprised. So I said ok la...then we continued chatting. For the first time we're chatting, talking about thing unrelated to Band or Trombone. Then I mentioned Geography, said I got B4 when I always got A1, asked him if he knew Mrs Tan. He got her for Art last year. He didn't know she teaches Geography, haha. He said she teaches SS too. Then I said "My mother is a Geography teacher also called Mrs Tan and she also teaches SS! But she's not my mother ah" Haha, then he asked "Your mother not call Gloria right? (No) Like that damn scary ah" He asked how much I got for Science I say 29, he ask overall, I ask 29/40 is what ah? Hahaha! A2. "Last term I top Science eh, but 3 other people also, all guys." "always like that one la, every time I get top I have to share it" Very true! Had a nice chat :D
Combine practiced March Blue Sky and Mr Yeo asked 2 of us to play the 8 count note getting from loud to soft. He said "I'm the pig, you're the wolf, so you blow my house down." asking me to play louder. Actually he was talking about the story The Three Little Pigs but I didn't hear then I went "Huh? What he talking?" then I realised what he said. Then we got a new score and he told us to side-read. I was passed a Trombone 3 score. We didn't know it was folded and Trombone 2 score was on the other side. Then Darryl was asking if there was anymore Tb(it's written Tb 3 on the score). Then I was holding it and realised it could open. I looked at the inside-both pages blank then turn to the other side-Tb 2. Hahaha! So it was just behind! I didn't know how to play and the scores looked as if they were hand-drawn! So small and not clear! Went through it once. Darryl said the music is nice but if you don't know how to play, that's the end of it. Actually it isn't, we just have to learn the music! After that Mr Yeo said the Genting trip's been approved! Yay! He said it's from 24th-28th but didn't say which month. I was already thinking of my birthday. Then I asked Darryl and he said November (don't know how he know). And I went "My birthday 23rd eh!" "celebrate first then go." haha. Then Mr Yeo said the year-end concert is 21st and hopefully our school auditorium will be done by then. I asked "What? 21st?! Why all so near my birthday one?!" Hahaha! Last year also I went to China on 24 November. It'll be the best birthday ever! Going there is already celebrating it enough, and what's more we still have the concert, so it's celebrating it even more! Yeah! Darryl must wish me 2 times- 1 in advance on 21st and 1 belated on 24th, haha. He can SMS me on 23rd if he wants, hahaha! Band practice during the holidays will be on Tuesday and Friday. Slept quite late yesterday because I chatted with Samuel :O :O I said hi first. Actually when I signed in he was online but I was thinking whether I should say hi. Then I wanted to say hi but when I saw the msn window, he was away. Ok, haha. Then checked it away and yay, he's back, so I said hello! and closed the chat window after that, not minimise, I mean close it completely. Ok, here's how the conversation goes. (I don't understand what he's saying sometimes and I thought he was unfriendly because I didn't understand, haha.) :

Samuel: not really (I was a bit surprised because Germaine told him I wanted him to add me) Me: I'm your junior Samuel: Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.......................... Samuel: wat can i help u? The "Eeee....wat can i help u?" part I don't understand. It's as if I need a reason to say hi, so it seems unfriendly. I don't know what to write so didn't reply. Samuel: wats ur religion? Me: Free thinker Samuel: ur family? Me: father Catholic and grandparents too. Others free thinkers. Samuel: gd then why ar u not thinking anything? I thought this was a sarcastic remark like why am I not using my brain, something like that. And also he asked what he can help me which is like why I chat with him and I didn't reply so I thought he was scolding me. Isn't that what you think too? Me: ? Samuel: i mean free thinker Haha, so that wasn't a sarcastic remark. And the "not really" I asked him later and he said he was just joking, haha, scared me. At first my heart was beating so fast, but later not so nervous already :D
Today I had my Chinese Language Oral. I was supposed to be second because my index number is 22 but 2 guys had CCA at 3pm so they went first. It started at 2.30pm and I was fourth. The teacher is the Chinese HOD! You know how I know? After lunch, I was standing outside the classrooms relaxing and doing nothing then Germaine on the 3rd floor waved to me and came down to 2nd floor. It was raining. Then talked to her for a while, she said he's the HOD. After she went off, I decided to feel the rain. I stretched out my hands and rain drops fell on it. It's like washing my hands :D During lunch time at the canteen I saw Kevin. Queueing up right behind him yet he didn't see me, haha. He turned the other way. So, we went to the same stall and bought the same thing. Then while I was eating I saw Samuel. He also went to the same stall and bought the same thing. Cool! :D
I read one word wrongly. 解 is supposed to be read as "jie(3)" but I read "jie(2)" for all of them! And there's 1 word I don't know how to read. I don't know why I kept pausing for a short period when I know how to read the words! Maybe because my Chinese isn't that good. The passage is about using less plastic bags to save the environment. The conversation topic is "According to research, Singaporeans are found to be not exercising enough. What are your thoughts about this?" I kept going "er..." and kept pausing because I seriously didn't know what to say! You know when you have nothing to say, the teacher will say something but even after the teacher helped me I still didn't know what to say so I just shook my head. It happened a few times. I don't think I'll do well... Bye!

Yesterday from 11am to 11.30am, we cleaned the classroom. I cleaned the windows, desks and chairs. After cleaning, the classroom was suddenly so clean. And we got M&M's later:D I got the peanut one and I'm eating it now, before breakfast.
Today is Meet-The-Parents Session. My time slot is 2.10pm and I'm going with my father because my mother's got Meet-The-Parents Session in her school too.
CaiYan's birthday is some where around these few days. She's Gemini and on her blog, she said happy kids are born in May, so her birthday should be some where around these few days. I don't know when so I tagged at Zhihui's blog and asked her:D Ok, bye!

Last Tuesday finally got Band practice. And Ms Leong was half an hour late. It was fun as usual and I knew the 2 bar rest which other people didn't know because CaiYan taught me before. Yayhaha. Yesterday I got back my History paper to check. In term 1 I got F9 for History. Then Mr Lim gave us our estimated score for O Level, The PAMS one. My History was estimated to get A1. They said you can't aim for lower than the score, so I wrote A1 for target. From F9 immediately to A1, I thought was totally impossible, but guess what? I GOT A1!!! I thought I would get C5 or C6. Yay! I got 38/50 and I thought it was 74% because I counted wrongly. Then I was a bit disappointed, 1% more. Then later I went" Eh? 38 x 2 is 76...A1!!!" And today, I got back my Geography paper to check. I top the class!! 66.5/80, which is 83.125%. When people were telling ZheRui their marks, he gave that kind of sinister laughter. I knew he got high marks, he always does. Then when Mrs Tan read out who got highest, she said Liam Tay got 83.1. I was like"Huh?! I got that too! How come you didn't read out MY name?! What's more I am your geography rep!! How could you forget you have a Geography rep?!" Then later I asked Xiao En to ask him how much he got /80. 66.5 also. No fair! Oh yes, and now there are 4 top in class for Science! And I actually thought that I beat ZheRui, who once claimed to be a genius in Maths and Science! One question was marked wrongly by the computer. So I minus 1 mark while ZheRui, Desmond and Zi Yuan I think add 1 mark. I wrote inside my handbook all my marks, then I saw that my target for Science was 80!!! And for Geography, I missed by 2 marks! At least some of my results are good.
This morning, CaiYan was walking behind me on the way to the stairs to class. When she called me the first time, I thought it was someone talking about me, so I didn't answer. Then the second time, I turned around and it was CaiYan!!:D I haven't seen her for so long. So we chatted for a while. She asked me how's practicing, I said ok. When I asked her" Tomorrow are you going practice?" She said"No, sec 4s step down already." So sad...:( So Kevin's going to teach me, but he is so shy...! I'll be a good junior and listen to Seniors and learn properly:) Ms Leong said they could go if they want, don't think that's true.
Do you believe it? My English composition has always been very good. And today, I only got 20/30 for situational which was letter writing and even worse, 18/30 for the other one. That is the worse compo ever. I was never beaten by so many before.
Oh yes, today for PE we did 20m shuttle run. Not the whole class, just some girls and boys. I didn't run. Now I know why we sometimes see people running to and fro and a teacher blowing a whistle during recess. When Mr Ong wanted the first group of people to run, everyone was cheering for ZheRui."ZheRui! ZheRui go,go!" Then soon" ZheRui! ZheRui! ZheRui!..." Wow, he's popular. He wasn't in the first group but he did run today. He ran till Level 8 Stage 5! That's 850m non-stop. I've never seen him so tired before. Even in the 2.4km run he didn't seem tired. And I forgot to buy the Chinese story book to do book review for June Holidays after school. Other people also forgot. That's all, bye!

Yo! Today for VL, we did a survey about our subject teachers. Odd and even number index number people do for different teachers, but some subject teachers, both groups do, like CL, HCL... I wrote some bad comments for Mr Liu and 10 out of 16, I put strongly disagree. We didn't have to write our names, just subject, teacher and class.
After that was CL and we got back our papers to check the marks and see our marks. But before that, Mr Liu read out the names of those who got A2 and above(for paper 2 only, not overall). And guess what, my name was read out! When I went to get the paper, he said got improvement. I improved by 10 marks! I got 50/70! For the listening comprehension, I got 9/10. Composition, the open-ended one I got only 28.5, upon 50 I think.
During Science I was very happy. For Section A, I got 24/30. Then when Mr Lim returned Section B to me, I saw on the paper written quite big" 24+30=80 V.gd". I was so elated and exhilarated!!! I immediately asked Wen Ling"This paper is upon 100?" Then she said yes. I kept smiling and laughing because I was so happy! She kept asking me how much I got, but I just kept replying "I got A1!". Then later when she asked again, I replied" Higher than 75." and she said" That's good." Then Mr Lim said" Highest for the moment, is Rebecca with 80." I went" Me?!" with big eyes. Haha YES!! I didn't think I would get highest. I hope after the value marks are added, I'll still be top. Before that Mr Lim was comparing us with 1R4 and after he announced that I git highest, he started comparing with 1R4 again. People were going" Stop comparing! Don't say!" ya, I agree." 1R4 has 3 people who got higher than 80." that spoiled my mood.
After that was Maths, I didn't see the results because I didn't feel like going in front to see the visualiser screen. Just now Rebekah told me that Band Graduation Day is cancelled!!NNNOOO! It was supposed to be the first of its kind on Saturday. I already got the attire. So there'll be Band practice on Saturday. Oh well, at least I get one more practice with Cai Yan. I'll miss Cai Yan and Zhihui when they graduate. Ok bye! Congratulate me on my success!:D
