Tuesday was an emo day.
Wednesday was a special day. Today the Vice-Principal held us Sec 4s back after morning assembly to talk about our attitude, because we always take very long to stand when we're told to. And he told the teachers to watch out for CCA leaders...
Thursday was a special day too. We Sec 4s stood up very fast when we were told to this morning. Good job! There was our mock O level Physics SPA today.
Today was a special day again too. These 3 days were unexpectedly special... Do you believe in miracles? Because you made it all happen. 我对天空这个那个流星 大喊后会不会有奇迹？也许吧 =) 谢谢你哦！^_^ Today's PE was fun! I went to the group that tried javelin but we also watched those who did running. Heheh! xP Today's SS test was awesome :D One of the best SS test I've had, I hope the results I get are too. Study very happily for it in class :D Isabel went for lunch with me though she didn't eat... And Amanda gave me sweet! ^_^
After the test was band... After practice I had Hui Shi, Amanda & Yii Jie walk with me :D
I haven't blogged for a week but I see it doesn't matter. It's not for you (with exceptions) to read anyway, it's for me to write.
Last Tuesday, Physics from 3-4pm so I reached band at 4+. I love my Physics workbook paper 9, hehe! However, it was sectionals... Haiz... Mr Yu and Yeo were both there but they were having sectionals OUTSIDE the room, at the CORRIDOR! :D Short-lived happiness though, we shifted to the stupid echo room. I finally get to play at the corridor again but it didn't even last 1 minute -.- Wanted to blast at that block 309... Can't we just wait till they complain again before we move? Sectionals was until 5. I hate braces. But I didn't get to combine because Mr Yu took the band while Mr Yeo wanted to see the 3 majors outside. He talked so long about the report and the band until they ended already. So my suggestion has been implemented! ^_^ From now, they can only keep instruments on our command :) So we've been doing that until Saturday, all 3 practices :)
Friday, I had EL oral after school. The examiner was Ms Deepa -.- How come teachers can test their own class. It was on computers... During the conversation part I mentioned DotA, haha! Come to think of it, during CL oral some months ago, the conversation I said the same thing. I said students are tired of school work so play games, haha. My test ended at 3.30pm. Heard that they made things difficult during warm ups -.- But as student leaders, we ARE expected to restrict our expressions. Do you see me crying in front of the band? Even when I did, does anyone even know? -.- The band seriously... Darryl and Cliff came. Sectionals... wanted to teach my juniors but -.- $%^&*(
Saturday no marching because Mr Yeo at 8.06am or so. And they were late. Committee members, go die. So I said no marching. Once again, majors got scolded, for not telling the band how long they have to set up. Student conductor was... his birthday and Mr Yeo kept pointing out how he's not conducting properly. Well, no 恶意 intended, just so that he can conduct better :) Oh Jonathan and Yin Xuan tuba senior came today! :D They came during sectionals. Actually Mr Yeo calls it so but the whole brass section together = sectionals?... It was 10.40am or so. Wah, the tuba senior is a professional tubist! :O OMG!!! So we have 2 pros from this band, the other being percussion Siti... Woah... He is about Kevin's height, double woah... Kevin's the best senior ever, triple woah ^_^ Eh, Jonathan wear the orange Levi's shirt again... So that's all for band.
Today, 词语测验. I forgot one word -.- I wrote in my notebook 脊背, the question put "ji" and I don't know which one... Haiz... I think I'll do fine for this one though :) Assembly last period, was great! ^_^ There was a play about kampong in Singapore. "I like Swee Ping" the girl's name, haha! Then talking about WW2, then "Communists also came" (they're from Malaysia right?) then "Chairman Mao was the man" -.- That is so not funny. The Communists in Singapore wasn't Chinese. Still remember in Sec 2 History exam, the Communist threat was from Malaysia, I wrote China. Think it's wrong, haha. Don't know what happened to that paper. Bye!
Hello, today was a very ordinary school day, except this morning all the ceiling lights in the hall were off and the projector screen said there was fault with all the lights, haha. Only the side lights were on, and I must say the hall looks nicer like that! But, reading period was cancelled, just as well I finished my book, but still brought anyway, if not will get into trouble. They announced for EL reps to go collect this month's reading magazine so I went to get it with my assistant, haha. We went to keep it in the EL locker and took out last months'. Actually there was one missing but I saw it on top of another locker so took it. When I reached 3R1 it was so quite. I was wondering, what's going on? I looked at the teacher's table but no, there's no teacher, then saw Ms Deepa at 3R2. -.- So I gave it out and a few minutes after I sat down, she came to say we can stop reading.
After that was PE, and I was with Sarah. We both had sit and reach to finish. I just got A! To get A for 14 year olds must get more than 43 cm, I got 44, haha! I helped people hold the board behind, then after everyone was done, we went upstairs to the hall. Those who have not passed 2.4km run were there doing beep test, just in time to see the start. For our class, the last few standing were Cui Yi, Qian Hui (last girl running!) and Jing Hao but I think he stopped to rest then went back in... Jing Hao was the last person in the whole level! Wow, I didn't know the 3 of them are so good...! :D Then went back to class early and went to change first, yay! Then Physics, got test paper back. Not satisfied. I managed to add one mark though, although I only wanted to know what was wrong. Actually, nothing was. And Mr Lee said "good" when he gave me my paper, but I'm not satisfied with it... so close. Recently there have been tests for every subject except humanities and language, means my triple Science and double Math. Yesterday got backE Math paper, not satisfied, so close also...! After Physics recess. Then Chinese, I switched on my phone for the dictionary to do practice paper. Then Jonathan sms to ask if there's practice on Saturday haha. But I didn't reply because I don't want to sms in class. Then bio, got back test paper, that's fast. We only did it yesterday... Last question not marked for me yet though. Very unsatisfied, not close at all. Yesterday also had A Math test after school. Surprisingly, I know how to solve all the questions... Maybe the NBC Silver gave me good luck! :D Bye! :)
I just remembered I have to blog something because in class I said this something has to go on my blog. First period in the morning, English. Ms Deepa was teaching on summary. She wrote "Jack and Jill went up the hill." Then she erased the "Jack and Jill" part, but put it back. Then as she said "Jill" she wrote "Jick". ...No one seemed to notice, haha! We have to use our own words when we summarise so she wrote "Jack and Jill climed up the mountain." HAHA! Then later she wrote "Twinkle twinkle little star" and rewrite it as "Little stars are twinkling" HAHAHA! When I saw that I was like HAHAHAHAHA! She herself said it's all rubbish. Since I rarely blog about class, I shall tell you a bit more about today...
Before first lesson today was English reading period. The Discovery Channel magazine was on my lap but I was reading 词语手册. Brandon beside me was also reading something else. Then the teacher came and said "What are you reading?" and I opened the magazine to cover the 手册 and surprisingly she didn't notice me. She only confiscated Brandon's book... After English was recess, which I spent studying 第四课和第五课的词语。今天有测验，第四和第五课，可是我不小心学了第六课的词语因为老师刚刚教第六课 -.- 在巴士上我还在读第六课。。。我在 assembly 时候看见旁边 3R2 的人在读词语手册第四或第五课词语才记得今天测验4，5 而不是6。... -.- After recess was Bio, but we did Bio SPA instead. No time to finish everything! Argh! And made all the mistakes anyone could make -.- Then Social Studies. Then Chinese. 孙老师 was nice enough to give us until 1pm to do last minute revision (which helped a lot) because the test is 30min. If it was 刘老师 last year, he'd probably just give 5min and start the test. Then conduct lesson after the test. I think 孙老师很善良(does that include lenient?)，因为每一课 3R1 都那么吵，她却没有骂。交功课时也有人没有交。我实在讨厌 3R1 Chinese class 的态度。如果我是老师我一定骂的啦。After that was assembly, Chinese opera on Going West (西游记). Nice... Then after that stay back in class with class to finish the Bio. By the time I wanted to go eat, the canteen was closing already, some stalls still open but look like they're closing so I didn't eat. Bumped into CY while walking out the canteen. I think he went to eat, but 5min later saw him walk out the school :O Today was not interesting, as usual. Bye bye.
Oh yes! Got back my Bio test paper today. Yay! Finally something I'm satisfied with. The best of the 3 Sciences, but actually the one I dislike most...

Band practice today. Assembly ended at 2pm, practice starts at 3pm, so went canteen to have lunch. After I set up my trombone, help Darryl set up his trombone and put it outside at his seat. Aren't I such a nice junior? ^_^ We started warm ups. During warm ups, CH & CH were outside the room. After warm ups with Total Training then they came in. It was about 3.30pm then. Continued with some more warm ups, very long today. And I am definitely back to normal. I can get my high Eb high F again :) We played Eb major scale and even Eb major scale with after every note go to Eb again. Like Eb, F, Eb, G, Eb, Ab then after reaching the high Eb, same thing, so we play high Eb a lot of times :O And I can play :) I was already normal yesterday when I played Jaslyn's part of Monmouth with high F. Yay!
Today whole day Overture No. 1! After warm ups, we played once through the whole song. Mr Yeo said it's his first time hearing us play it. Really meh? After playing it, Mr Yeo focus on part by part. Starting part, we have melody so we played. Then another time is after the 10 bar rests. Kevin played jazz, haha! My turn, I play once only, but this time I didn't follow dynamics, I played soft throughout, don't know why. When I finished, Darryl and Kevin started laughing but I have no idea at what. I was wondering if I played something wrong, but I was quite sure I got every note. Then Mr Yeo told Kevin "她的最难听，你的最好听。" And I don't understand, was it that horrible? After that very boring because we don't have that much melody. Very boring. We dismissed late because Mr Yeo told us his life story for 30min. Oh ya, also very lonely today. That's all, bye!

Last Saturday Ms Leong said there'd be a CNY rehearsal today, so obviously the quintet has to go. But this morning, after assembly, Mr Lim (band teacher) asked all band members to see him. So I went to see him and Ms Ong. Ms Ong said other CCAs are having the whole CCA perform so it's not nice if we only have 5 people perform. And she said, almost every band member will get at least A2 at the end of secondary school because of all the concerts & performances we have. And she thinks it's not fair that only those 5 people get the CCA points and the rest don't, so she asked Mr Yeo and wanted to pick a song that's still fresh so she chose Sesame Street. Then like last year, the band played Incredibles then the 5 came out. So the band will play Sesame Street then the 5 people come out. When she said this my reaction was like "Aaahhh!" Then I kept shaking my head then she said "Rebecca, you shake your head, are you not sure about Sesame Street?" Then I shook my head again. Aaaahhh! Then went for lesson.
At 3pm I went upstairs because Ms Ong said she wants us to run through in the room before going to the hall for the rehearsal. After a while, we went in and set up instruments. I flipped to Sesame Street and shift my stand closer to Cheng Heng. Then he look in his file and said "Ah Sesame Street." I asked him "What you looking for?" He said "Sesame Street." I said "Here." "Oh ya hor only got one" Haha, cute. We did warm up with Chromatic Low Tones conducted by Germaine. I think she's going to be student conductor. Then we practised SS. After a few times, we went downstairs.
So boring there, 3.30pm is when the full rehearsal starts, not the one for band what. We could actually have stayed up there. Hours at the hall you know! I just play and play anything I want. A while later Darryl came.
Oh ya, there's one part at Overture No. 1 I blasted a bit then there's echo throughout the whole hall, yeah! :D Finally we gathered in concert order. Then we went by the back door to the stage. Before we started they go on the spotlight! Then they go fiddle with the stage lights. When we playing, the stage lights keep going on and off, tsk, stage light have to be one obviously, so people can see us and we can see our scores! After that, the 5 people came out. The band so nice, they clapped as we played and after we finished they clapped & cheered. Aawww... :) Then go back upstairs and dismissed. Bye bye.

Today there's PE, take height and weight. I'm only 156cm?!?! I expected at least 160cm by now! Later in the day there's Geography, chapter 2 population. Mdm Jamilah's slide show had 2 pictures taken during lower sec assembly last year! :O I saw Chen Hua, so I knew that Cheng Heng must be somewhere near there, then I saw Cheng Heng :D Lesson ended at 12.30pm, band practice starts at 2.30pm, so went to canteen to eat. I saw Darryl with Karl. I saw Samuel when I was in the bus to school yesterday :D After a few minutes went upstairs. I set up my trombone. Cliff said Mr Yeo's not coming because he's preparing for his wedding tomorrow. Then he told us to go for sectionals. Darryl went to the same place that Jezer used. I just set up my stand and Darryl's NCC friend came and asked "Your junior ah?" "Ya" Of course his junior right? I can't be his senior right?
We did warm ups. Then we did Overture No. 1 the starting. I have low notes. He said aim at that block. Last time Jezer said his senior make him and other juniors blast at that block because they always complaint when they have band BBQ. Then he ask me to hold the trombone higher. 90 degrees. I playing and he clapping the tempo then the wind blew and my whole stand dropped, haha. "Nature strikes back" Then I turned around and saw Cheng Heng walking down the steps.
Anyway, he do warm ups himself while Darryl continue teaching me. The wind blowing my file, Darryl ask Kevin for wallet (because I don't have) and he lent his wallet. Then the wind still blowing, blow his wallet also, then 50 cents drop out on the floor. Then the wind blew again and 5 cents dropped out this time. Then I said "Eh got $1 here eh!" on the stand, haha. Then he gave him back his wallet because it didn't help much. We went to a different place but still that area outside the classrooms, the bridge there. We used 3 areas there, but still the wind blew. Ask us to aim at that block.
Still windy, we changed to a third place there. CH said he's now 190cm! We hardly played before the wind came again. CH's scores went flying everywhere and they went running everywhere after it. The stands dropped too although their files are heavy. Then 2 scores flew past the wall, oops. And went downstairs, then CH ran down the stairs to the first floor to get it. Darryl found another place. We went inside where it's not open space, but same level, 4th. Finally we could practice! I asked "Today's Tuesday right?" He said "Friday! Tuesday! You 3 days back in time ah?" "Sorry la!" Because Tuesday also has practice what. Practise a while then went back already. Taufiq was there.
People were late, they settled at 4.40pm and got lecturing by him. There was no break. Darryl went to tell him about leaving early. Then we play Overture No. 1. Darryl left at 5pm. Then he wanted us to play the ending part. So we're playing again and again. I so nice waved bye to him haha! Then we do A Monmouth Overture. When I empty saliva, CH looking at me and he started laughing. I went "What?" He say my saliva went outside the bowl. "I cannot see what!" I really want longer hands faster! At the bottom of 1st page there's a few bars with the notes smaller than the others. Then he's like "What's all this?" I also don't know, haha. We kept our instruments and took our bags. Ms Ong talked to us. She said we just accepted a performance at Orchard Road. :O Cool! I read from Rebekah's blog, there's marching tomorrow :D

I was late today. I walked into the school after 7.45am then the guy stopped me -.- I turned around and saw Cheng Heng, haha! His long pants so long! The guy told us to stand 5 in a row, I & CH first row (but not beside each other), which means we're one of the earliest latecomers. Yesterday I also came after 7.45, and it was Mr Vincent Lee there. But he just stood at the staircase and didn't stop the group of people what. Isn't he a discipline master or something? I don't even know who that guy is, if he's even a teacher. He doesn't even look like one. Went to class with my mood affected for the whole Maths period. Later Mdm Jamilah came and asked for some people. They were late so their attendance wasn't marked. But she didn't ask for me, so maybe she already marked my attendance :O Band practice today. Assembly ended at 2pm so I went to eat lunch then do a bit of homework for a few minutes then went to the room. The store room so cramp. Tuba cases blocking the cupboards. I set up my trombone and took Total Training, not the file photocopied one, the pages put together with a blue transparency in front one. Darryl and Cheng Heng came :) Rebekah took attendance. She said she'll call the section then we tell her who's present in the section. But when she said this, Darryl was in the store room. So when she called "Trombone", Darryl just stared at her without saying anything, haha. That time Cheng Heng came already but in the store room. Don't know whether she marked him or not. But in the end his attendance should be marked la. Then we did warm ups. Germaine conducted?!?! The way she said "instruments up" is like... so different, first day at band also will know she doesn't usually do it. Never do Chromatic Low Tones, only Total Training. During Total Training, Mr Yeo came. After that, we played Kokomo I think. Anyway there's a part we the trombones have melody, together with eupho and Mr Yeo asked us to go out and practise for 5min. Before that he also sent some sections to go out for 5min. Taufiq wanted us to practise together, haiy...'sian'. I'm tired of practising with them. Then we went back in after more than 5min. Mr Yeo asked both sections to play that part then he counted 1 2 3 4. We're supposed to come in on the n after 4 but nobody did, and only Darryl came in on 1 after the 4. He came in only a quaver, then Mr Yeo went "aiyo" haha. There's once Cheng Heng raised his hand but Mr Yeo didn't see, busy singing the trumpet part while looking at his conductor score. In the end I found he wanted to get slide oil. So he did in the end. Mr Yeo was talking about Sec 1s. He said those who just finished Sec 1 would know how it's like when we just joined junior band. Then he started 'suan-ing' (insulting) people, starting with Larry. He play sound like cow. Then Andrew, Xue Qi and Xuan Lin. Then he look at me and say what another cow. See the seniors play then moo moo moo (while changing position but he sang the same note) eh where to put the hand ah? What crap, since when I don't know my positions. And how to have the same note when playing different positions, exaggerate also at least have to make sense right? Darryl still can laugh. Not sure if Cheng Heng did, probably did la. He suan them I not only never laugh, I also very annoyed. Then he suan me wrongly and they can laugh -.- Not funny la. I tried to smile to make it seem like I found it funny too, but just couldn't. Today I'm so lonely, nobody talk to me. Only near the end of practice then Darryl talk a bit. I was emptying saliva before we started on Sesame Street where we have to share score then he ask if I can see, only. When practice gonna end then he suddenly asked me "How long is your hand ah?" I simply shrugged then he said "Stretch out" so I did and he stretch out his hand beside mine. Then he said "Ok la, quite long. Ok I'm short." Haha! Then Cheng Heng said "Wait, again again." So again. Then he look at the shoulders to see whether the starting point is the same then Darryl said "Parallax error la" Haha, Darryl's hand longer than mine of course. We kept our things first then went out again. That Andrew, shoes too big or got problem walking, go kick my section's saliva bowl then say he never kick. Then I tell Yihui her junior spilled it she say "Then you clean la" What crap, assholes. He spill then I clean for what?! Asshole. When I came out after keeping my things the mess was still there. So I cleaned it la -.- Then James or who say Darryl irresponsible senior. He say Andrew should be the one cleaning it, then I turned around and said "He don't want to clean what!" Damn irritated. Darryl actually asked me to leave the tissue there, but since there was a dustbin there I threw it away. The saliva soaked through the tissue and I touched it, eeeee. Then I said "It's our own saliva right?" It's our saliva so never mind. Then after that went home.

It's the last day of school and my class got COMPASS magazine. Band's featured! The 2nd National Band Competition, trombone section's in it! :D But the picture is so small! I got back my report book today. But before that was the Great NAS Clean Up. 1h, but nothing much to do. Last time we had it, we cleaned the tables and chairs first, then put them at the back. This time we put them at the back first, so it's only the windows and teacher's table to clean and tidy. Then the whole school went to the hall at 11am to get back our report books. Only today, the CCA record, where we write the activities that were not recorded, was collected. Isn't it a bit too late? How to make any amendments if they collect today and the report book is given today? But when I got the report book, it was written that I participated in the National Day performance. So no worries :D But there was also the record that I participated and represented the school in National Band Competition but the Sec 1s didn't even participate! We only went to watch our seniors! And points are awarded for that competition! So I get 1 point for nothing?
Anyway, my class position is 15/39 when my percentage is 70.8% and Wen Ling is 8/39 when she's about 72% -.- That few marks makes so much difference in position. I got 1 B4, 2 A1s, 3 A2s and 4 B3s. Haha, I got 4 different grades in the proportion of 1, 2, 3, 4. And by the way, all the grades and marks I'm talking about is the overall for 2008. You know what kind of A2 I got for Science? 74!!! -.- The subject I most want to excel in is none other than SCIENCE!! I want to go to 3R1, triple Science class! And you know what kind of B3s I got? 69, 69, 68, 68 -.- Again, so close to the next grade! All 4 B3s, so close to the next grade! -.- EL, CL - 69. Maths and Home Economics - 68. For Literature, I just got a B4 with 60, or else I would have stayed at C5. For CA1, SA1 and CA2 I got C5. My L1R4 Aggregate is 9 and my L1R5 aggregate is 11. What JC can I go to with 11 points? My remarks: Rebecca is pleasant and well-behaved. She has made an effort to interact more, an essential life skill. Continue to work hard and pursue higher academic goals. My CCA remarks! :D :Rebecca is a conscientious student with a positive work attitude. She has the potential to go far and has improved through the guidance of her seniors. She has shown regular attendance and commitment to the CCA. :D
Band practice tomorrow. I hope I'm back to normal. It's one month to my birthday, which means it's one month - 2 days to the concert and one month + 1 day to the competition. Bye!

Today is the first time we're singing the school song as one school after a long time! :) I think from now onwards, we'll always have flag raising in the new hall as one school :) Checked some papers today. Literature first, I only got 32/50, which is 64% - B4. Ms Lee said the top scores was 18/25 for the written test. Only 2 people, but there were many 17 scores, and I was one of them! :D So I'm one of the many 3rd positions. I improved by about 3 marks. I remember I got about 14 twice. For the poem, which is group work, it only got 9/15. But it's not my fault. I did the entire poem because the 2 other people went to the meeting empty-handed, not only did they not do any research, they also did not bring writing materials to the meeting. "Too much information will make it seem like an information report." Rubbish. So in a group work, only 1 person has to find information is it? It's just pure laziness and can't be bothered. These kind of people just piss me off. For the reflections, I only got 6/10. So it's a B4 for Literature, at least I moved up by 1 grade.
Then Chinese, we've seen our paper before so I already know that I got 51/70 for paper 2. But when we got the paper last time, the lame teacher talked so much rubbish after going through the multiple choice questions until there was no time left for the open ended questions which carry more marks. So today we went through the open ended questions. I already forgot my scores for paper 1. We have 2 compositions, letter writing and the other is writing a story. There's also the oral which will be counted, I think it'll pull my scores down. Anyway, 51/70 is my best score for CL Paper 2, I got 50/70 for SA1.
After that was recess, and after recess was Science. Mr Lim (Science teacher) only let us check the marks but didn't go through the paper. I got 24/30 for Section A. For Sections B and C I got 49/70, so that's 73/100 - A2. Argh...! I was expecting an A1!! I topped Science last time and now I only get A2?! How can I go to my dream class 3R1 like this?! Then he went to invigilate 'O' Levels or something. I thought 'O' Levels start in the afternoon. Then later, Mr Lim (History teacher) came, it was still the Science period. When I saw that my score was 42/50 I was quite happy. That is my best score for any subject this year. It even beat my score of 83.1 for Geography :O But later I found out that many other people got A1 too, because the answers were given to us before the exam, so we just had to memorise all the answers because we don't know which question will come out as we were given answers for a few questions. I got 30/30 for the 2 structured essay questions. I think the structured essay questions are just memory work. It's the source-based and comparison questions that your memory can't help. So I got A1 for History :)
Last period of the day was Maths. Again, we only checked marks, didn't go through the papers. I was expecting an A1 too. I only got B3. My scores were 28-1/40 and 33/50 for Paper 1 and Paper 2 respectively. The 28-1 is because the presentation of answers were not good for Q3 and 10! And what a funny way to get the score /100. Paper 1 score x 1.25 (to make it /50) + Paper 2 score = score/100. ?!?!
My class has a lot of lame and brainless people. They tear down the plastic covering for all the noticeboards in class when they're only going to be used next year -.- That's very stupid. It's still 2 months + till next year and they remove the coverings. They really have nothing better to do right? Have to go and dirty the noticeboards. And what's more, we're not using this classroom next year. Can't they be more considerate? And they make so much noise and act like idiots as if they were just released from prison after 10 years. If they've got nothing better to do, then go and study for next year! Just because SA2 is over, doesn't mean studying will never be needed again right? It's only Sec1 idiots, wake up. People stereotype against classes because of their names. People think lower sec R6 and R7 and good classes and all the C1s are bad classes. As if. You call this a good class? Just because people are from this class, doesn't mean their the goody goody type. And don't look down C1 people, they are not all bad. Every class has bad kids. Just because their results are not that good doesn't mean they are all not the goody goody kind. Samuel is from 2C1 but since the first time I chatted with him on MSN (which is the first time I interacted with him aside from 2 lines), I already knew he's the good kind :)

Yesterday was the first time in a long time that our entire school gathered as one. Too bad the Sec 4 Express wasn't with us :( But anyway, it was the good thing that we're back together as one school :) Wednesday only the lower sec was together. Yesterday all the Sec1 classes except 1R7 went on our excursion to Singapore Discovery Centre. We went from Tampines in the East all the way to Jurong in the West I think. When we just got down from the bus, we boarded another bus for the SAFTI tour. That's Singapore Armed Forces Training Institution. The bus just go to some places and the person tell us what building it is and all that. Then after that ended, we went to the discovery centre.
Our school always has some race when we go out of school. I still remembered the NAS Maths Trail 2008 was something like Amazing Race at Changi Airport Terminal 3. And yesterday was X Race, same thing, go around looking for answers. I don't like "Amazing Races". There were also other things. Oh yes, during the break just after the SAFTI tour, I was so bored that I switched on my handphone for absolutely no reason (on silent mode of course, it's always silent in school). Then I felt my phone vibrating and was quite surprised. Rebekah called again and asked me the same question "Rebecca where are you?" and got the same answer "I'm not in school." She said my Genting form was missing, then I thought it was the particulars form but asked to make sure. Then I said I just gave it to Ms Ong that morning. She was so relieved she went "Ooooooohhhhhh!..."
Oh yes, also saw Darryl in the morning, because after I changed to taking 27 instead of 72, we take 291 from the same stop which is opposite the library. And he always just suddenly appear out of no where when the bus comes, that leaves me ??? Bye!

The first day of post-exam activities today, and the first assembly in the new hall. Yesterday was marking day and Monday was checking EL and CL papers. I got B3 for EL Paper 2 and B3 for CL Paper 2 and 1 combined. We assembled in the new hall today. Only the lower sec. It was air-conditioned. We have 2 halls - Assembly Hall & Multi-purpose Hall. Actors Tan Kheng Hua and Lim Yu Beng (couple) were there. They gave a talk about theatre. It was the first thing in the new hall, so, wow, we had celebrities open the new hall. When they asked questions, hardly anyone answered. In fact, they asked a few times but still no one answered. After the talk, they did a recording and wished us Happy 15th Anniversary for next year, haha.
After that, the second thing was a short talk by someone about 2 things - some learning method and martial arts. Then at the end, he got a volunteer so he could show his attack. He said he'll be teaching us defence so we'll see him again. Recess was at 10am and there was still time, so we watched the national day video. It was funny, haha. All the school videos that we watch are funny. After recess, we went back to the hall to do some IDEA thing, where they asked about the arts culture in our school, whether we like the arts programmes and stuff and we give feedback. Each class split into 2 groups - odd index number and even index number. It was quite boring, I couldn't hear much when the person read what was written on the paper because it was noisy.
After that was done, we did a fire drill. "Evacuated" class by class through 3 exits. There are 19 doors in the hall. Went to the temporary canteen. And from there, we went back to our old classrooms to shift the tables and chairs to the new classrooms. When I went back to class, the new 3I1 sign was there. Why do Sec 3s use the old block when the others (Sec 1 & Sec 2, don't know about Sec 4) will be using the new block? The new signs are bigger than the old ones. 1R6 is on the 2nd floor, same as the current 1R6 classroom. The 2 blocks are connected. When I was walking to the new 1R6, I walked past the first classroom nearest to the old block and saw Chong Jin in there. I looked around and saw Kevin. Then I looked at the class sign and realised that was 2R6! 2R6 is the odd one out there. I think all the other classes are Sec1 classes. And they are all facing away from the old block but 2R6 is facing the old block. Why didn't they do PRIME last year? If they did, Kevin's and my classroom would be on the same level! 1R6 and 2R6 is just a few classes away by the way. Next year I'll be in 2R6, that odd one out and none of my seniors will be on the same level :(
The new classrooms are so big! :D The old classrooms had only 4 fans while the new ones have 6! This means that the new ones are 1 and a half times bigger! :D The whiteboard is longer too! And the projector screen will not cover the national flag when pulled down because the flag is on the left while the screen is on the right.
I went home after the shifting was done. This time my arms don't hurt like when the Band's shifting. I just alighted from bus 27 and I remembered that I forgot to give Ms Ong my particulars form for the Genting trip! During recess Rebekah saw me and I passed my passport to her. She was also holding some particulars forms but she didn't ask for it, and after I passed her the passport, she went off already. Then I felt my handphone vibrating (couldn't hear it ringing) but I didn't recognise the number. Then when I picked up, "Rebecca where are you? I'm Rebekah" How coincidental, I just said I'm not in school then she wanted to say something and I heard people shouting then she said she'll explain to me tomorrow. Don't tell me it's something wrong with the passport. It can't be. Tomorrow I'm having the excursion to the Singapore Discovery Centre. I'll just give it to Ms Ong in the morning then.

Had assembly today. Some people who went to Shenyang shared on their trip. I thought of Kevin because he went there the first week of June Holidays. He was one of those who presented. The last group, all those in his group were from 2R6. He hardly said anything. The powerpoint slides had some problem and most of the time he was the laptop. He only said one and a half lines. He didn't finish the second line, he stopped at "and..." haha. That's when he got back to the laptop which he never really left even while talking. The microphone must have been quite loud. He only sniffed but the microphone caught the sound, hahaha! Later he was holding it like 40-50cm from his face and we still can hear him. How loud is that.
I was thinking of going for this kind of trip next year (which I never wanted to even in primary school) but one of the presenters said the toilets have no walls, and they bathe there. Eeeww...! Then that person said he didn't bathe and only bathed twice in 7 days-at his buddy's house. During recess, Xue Qi said her sister went there before and there was only walls between the 2 toilets(male and female) and inside the toilet, there are no cubicals because there are no walls and they bathe together. Then girl see girl and guy see guy. Ew.

I'll type using itallic from now on. I think it's nicer. This morning, there was assembly. There was a talk by SOS(Samaritans Of Singapore)about suicide and stuff. The woman was talking about how you can tell when something's not right with someone. She said if they keep talking about Britney Spears or Heath Ledger. For the latter, I know why but for the former, I have no idea. Why Britney Spears? Then what if her fans always talk about her? It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with them. Then she said if they keep talking about people who commit suicide then Zhe Rui suddenly went"Liam Tay!" He said I look like someone who likes black and stuff. Look who's talking. Since when is there a look for people who like black. He scared of me still dare to say that.
I know I keep talking about Zhe Rui but what I say is what happened. Then Literature class test on The Tiger. During EL, we got back our compositions to revise for MYE. After school we were held back by Mrs Tan about being unable to open some of our files. She also returned the test that we did(forgot when). Yay! I got 17/20!!! Last time for CA1, I got 30/40. My Geography is quite good, but it's not because my mother's a Geography teacher and she's Mrs Tan. But, Zhe Rui got 35/40! This time I beat him. He got 15. Yay! Some people were held back for a while only but for those whose files couldn't be opened, about 30min.
After school, I bought strawberry milkshake at the mcdonalds at the Tampines Interchange. The person asked me if there was exams since we were early(dismissal). I finished more than half of it while waiting for the bus. Then when I got up the bus, the driver told me to bring it down after I finished it. I am not the type who will litter. Ya so I brought it off the bus(of course).Ok bye!
