Filming, miss band practice and cramps
♫♪I love NAS, Concert Band, Trombones and my seniors!!♪♫Yo yo! Yesterday 2R6 had to stay back because MediaCorp came to film us cheering for him. The plan was we meet in the hall at 2.30pm and go to the library at 3pm.They're supposed to come at 3 but late slightly. I was one of the last few who left the class. The hall was locked and no one's inside so we went to the library first. Then later it was open so we went there. And practise the cheer, eeh.. so sucky (as was CH would have said, haha) Then we went to the library when the MediaCorp people came. I saw some band mates at the computer nearest to the door. I sat there and did nothing, I didn't even know Darryl was there. I was sitting on the chair right beside the computers, only separated by a red see-through plastic/glass panel. How lame. They're looking at Band Fusion I think, I heard them talking about bands and their songs. I beat them to it, I saw Band Fusion Wednesday or Tuesday, haha. Dar even brought his mouthpiece. We finished at about 4.15pm. As I was walking out of the school, I could hear very clearly metronome sound and clarinet. I didn't know clarinets and metronomes were so loud. Ah maybe Dar went for band la, that's why he got mouthpiece. But who cares? Haha!
Today is Friday, first period is PE. First lesson on soccer! Yay! I don't think you know, since young I've liked soccer but never played and don't know the rules. But teacher made us go in pairs and scoring is only considered as scoring when the ball is between the markers and we stop the ball?! I fell down, haha! Ouch, my tailbone! Later, I heard Megan fell too, but lucky enough for her it's just on the butt and it doesn't hurt. I fell on my bone! And even if it was my butt it'll still hurt cos I'm so skinny. Later Art. Ms Coelho's absent so there's some Mr Fong as relieve. I had stomach cramp suddenly while I was doing my art! My face was damn pale and I was sweating a bit. I asked Nurlena to go toilet with me. Then that guy go say in Chinese "Are you old folks?..." then don't know what, probably asking why we have to go together. Nurlena's obviously a Malay! Then she said I want to go then he only let me. (He obviously can't see I'm sick despite my actions, expressions and colour of my face!) Then when I went out he 'girl! girl!' I thought he's calling me to get exit pass or what then I turn back, he let Nurlena go with me. Someone must have told the blind man I'm sick. During recess, I slept. When I woke up I was fine.Get ready to go Home Econs room for the practical test. OMG it came again, but less. When I went there I was still having it didn't worsen. Before anything started, Wen Ling went (staff) toilet with me. I puked, I think it was saliva(and acid)! (Puke saliva?!)When I woke up after recess, there was some saliva or don't know what in my mouth. Joey brought me to tell teacher that I'm sick. Just as well, I'm afraid that it'll worsen halfway and affect my practical. So she let me sit in front, and I slept throughout, with intervals where I woke up. Then I was ok :D There's band practice but I decided to go home in case like just now, it comes back, and the band room is air-coned too. When I was walking out of school, I saw the 2 trombone cases and Ms Deepa at the bench. Yay, their trombones are fixed! :D I SMSed my 2 lovely big brothers to tell them why I'm not going later and 'congrats, your trombone's repaired :)' haha! Band practice
I love NAS, Concert Band, Trombones and my seniors!!:DBand practice today! Had marching and I brought the rocks for fun. Didn't use rocks or leaves anymore. Not as fun as 2 weeks ago, maybe because we learnt less today. Only one new command-turning to the back. It's the same as turning left and right but must turn more. At first I couldn't turn properly but got it in the end :D There were people cutting grass during marching -.-Sectionals after that. I practiced with Chong Jin and she taught me a bit. Of course not teach me Trombone, I mean teach me the rythm and play my part of the scores so I know how it sounds. She played in B flat Major Scale. Her instrument, Bass Clarinet is quite low. It's in C Major Scale. I practiced with her until the break. During the break, I kept taking pictures of my Trombone. I took 8 pictures and used the nicest one for my handphone wallpaper :D My Trombone-Tenor Trombone 3!

After the 35min break which ended at 10.40am, I practiced on my own. I practiced so many times until my cheek muscles got tired then I couldn't even pitch High D properly. Then I played louder than usual. I don't know why I did that. I learnt the whole song today! :D I tried to play the parts I never tried before then now I can play them :D
Then later we gathered and those who were late were punished by running around the scond floor a few rounds. If they come just after their name was called, it's also considered late! :O That's what happened today. Speaking of punishments, the Sec 1s were also punished during marching, I forgot why, I think because we didn't count. We had to run from where we were to another point and back in 30sec. Actually it was 20sec. I'd rather do 30 sit-ups in a minute. Just started the marching and we had punishment already, but we did the punishment later. Then we were dismissed. Cliff call my name and say the tuner is from my section. I didn't know they were using a tuner and Hey! That's my section's tuner I didn't even get to use it! Band practice
I love NAS, Concert Band, Trombones and my seniors!!:DBand practice yesterday. I was dismissed from class at 12.30pm and practice started at 2.30pm. I went to the food court with Xue Qi at Tampines Mart. Guess who I saw the moment I walked in a few steps. Darryl and Karl (Oboe). He ignored me, as usual. After we ate, we went back to school and did nothing much. Checked out the Band noticeboard. Then at 2.30pm, practice started. Supposed to set up instruments and go to the canteen with our section. Did Darryl abandon me? He left with other people. Went there and he asked me to play high B flat to tune-sharp as usual. After that, I didn't do anything until 3pm when Mr Yeo came. I stained my shirt again with slide oil. Last time I stained it because Cai Yan was teaching how to oil my slide then I touched the oil and touched my shirt. This time I adjusted the tuning slide then touched my shirt because I didn't know there was oil on my hand.Today, practice wasn't fun or nice. It was tiring. Kevin had MT Oral today so he came at 4pm+. Maybe it was so tiring because I had my 2.4km run earlier. I still have other reasons if that's incorrect. Today we had rehearsal for National Day. When the Uniform Groups people bring in the national flag, we played Trumpet Voluntary (now we are playing it again), when it's Sekolah Sediya (School attention) we played Majulah Singapura. We kept repeating this. Everytime the emcee said something wrong, the teacher ask us to do everything again. This is another reason. I was unhappy because Darryl didn't talk to me yet he talk to that idiot beside him as if he knew him for a year already. Darryl! What are you thinking?! You ignore your own junior but act so friendly to other people's junior! What's more, that's the one who bullied your junior! How could you be so friendly to the person who bullied your junior and yet ignore your junior?! Serene (Saxophone) is right although she was just joking I think-you're gender biased. Cai Yan is right. You don't talk to me because "you haven't really grown up yet." Mood affects tiredness, so this is another reason.Kevin said while waiting for their turn to be tested for oral, they told scary stories. Darryl said "Crazy ah? Now what month?" Then Kevin said there were talking about one very scary story when suddenly he heard a girl's voice he never heard before-"Cheng Heng" He turned around and Cai Yan was there, hahaha! How could he never have heard her voice? I saw her before practice but she didn't see my till I called her because she was looking at her phone. For Majulah Singapura, I think Darryl's counting is not very good. We're supposed to play F G F G but he's one count early there. When I start F G F, he's already at G F G. So when I'm at position 1 he's at 4 and vice versa then I got confused and didn't play properly there.I felt so cool when I was playing Majulah Singapura. The slide position has to change very quickly-there are quavers and dotted quavers (0.75 counts) so I move the slide very quickly that's why I felt cool :DWe had to stand and take the national pledge and racial harmony pledge (National Day and Racial Harmony Day is going to be celebrated together on 8 August). First time I didn't put my fist to my heart and also didn't say the pledge because I thought it was just a rehearsal so don't need. I also didn't say the racial harmony pledge most of the time but I did raise my right hand. I think it was the first time, Mr Yeo spotted me not saying the racial harmony pledge and stared at me in a very obvious way so that I would notice and get his message (to say the pledge). At first I didn't know, then when I noticed (which was about the same time Darryl noticed and looked at me) I quickly opened my mouth and recited. Oh yes! Kevin said "Miracle, Samuel coming tomorrow." He doesn't come on Saturdays and I was happy because he's my senior and I never interacted with him before. PE
I love NAS, Concert Band, Trombones and my seniors!!:DI had NAPFA test today during PE. This morning I almost forgot there was PE. I already changed into school unifrom when I remembered. PE was the first lesson. We have a new teacher, Mr Tan, but Mr Ong is still our teacher. Mr Tan took index numbers 1-10 while the rest(including me) were with Mr Ong. We also have a new teacher for History called Mr Tan also who will be replacing Mr Lim. Speaking of index numbers, Darryl and Kevin have the same index number, 24! You know how I know? On the Heymath portal you can add buddies right? Of course I didn't do that, I just looked at the name list because I wanted to know their surnames. I also counted from the top. They are both number 24! :O Anyway, we did 2 stations-sit-ups and Shuttle Run. We did sit-ups first, which I am quite good at. I am very fast but when it comes to 20+ sit-ups, I slow down but always manage to get A. I did 31 although I only need 30 because the person helping me tell me what" 31, 1 more". I'm not that dumb as to stop one sit-up to A-.- They guys have to do 42/43. Zhe Rui did 49! If he did 1/2 more than it'd be 50 because he went down then time was up, so he didn't come up.Then we did shuttle run, run to the end and pick up a sponge, run back and put the sponge down. Then run back and take the other sponge, run back and past the cone.I was the second person since my index no. is 22. After Joey(no. 21) ran, Mr Ong taught us how to go past the cone and pick up the sponge so we won't waste time. So I was the first to run after that. Then he asked me how to pick it up, then I paused then did what he showed us. I told Joey I play Trombone then can stretch my hand haha. My timming is 12s I think.Then after PE was English then recess then Geography. Zhe Rui sat beside me for Geography, CME and VL(last 3 lessons in order). Not directly beside me, I mean beside me in the next row which is very close to my row.After school before I left the classroom, I asked Liyana if we're supposed to put the History project(Powerpoint printed out) in Mr Lim's pigeon hole. Then she asked to look at my group's project which I took out, so I let her see it. I asked her whether the background is nice and that I did it myself. Then she said" Really ah? How you do?" Then I just told her how and she said it's distracting.
